This and Aritaum are, currently and from what I've seen wandering around, the only K-beauty shops…read moreat the Source. The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

On the receipt it says New/Used but they don't hold up to their own policy I guess. This was my go-to place for Korean Skincare but I'm going to find another place since they were not willing to accommodate and gave me a "free" mini item which doesnt even equate to the amount of money this product costs.

This store is just fun…read more They have such cute items and the prices are cheappp. It seems like they have a random selection of things. You just have to go and see what they have. I like that it's themed. There's themed areas. And lots of seasonal items. I've found so many adorable things at this store. Not necessarily things I was looking for, but rather seeing things and wanting them lol The value is great! You can buy a lot and not spend that much money. I grabbed some bathing suits coverups and a dog toy.

Yes I saw the jumbo sized ones immediately but I asked the greeter for other options. He said there were more just beyond on the left side and some on the right side... What?! That's intentional store planning to keep you wandering the store and intice shoppers to buy unintended items. Kudos to their business strategy. Not me, I'm here for only gift bags and tissue paper for the gift wrapping. I bought an assortment of bag sizes and several different style tissue papers. I think the store manager or lead was up front training-advising her employee on procedures while I approached to self checkout. There were no manned cash registers. I was out of there with only what I needed. Friendly employees at the front of the store but no interaction with those on the floor stocking items. They're not interacting with intention. Gift bags and tissue paper for gifts! Mission accomplished. The have helium balloons. Saw this as I was walking out.

When I asked her for her opinion on which Sulwhasoo product she would recommend. She listened to my concerns very carefully and offered actually the cheapest item on display. When I actually wanted the more expensive serum she actually recommended that I try the basic item first to see how I respond to it. I was very happy with her honest recommendation. She was nice enough to give me generous samples I can try also for their entire line. I purchased a basic activating serum for the Sulwhasoo line. As the representative informed me it should be the first thing I put on after wash, even before toner, to help my skin absorb the rest of the products I apply. In one use I did feel my skin much more supple and I used it in combination with my daily regimen of Skinics chlorella and vitamin A serum and OUI skin softener and moisturizer. I know I can find the same products on the internet for cheaper. However the amount of care and help I received along with samples I believe it's well worth it to visit the store and pay the difference.

She was not kind, she wasn't very helpful. I asked for a foundation and she recommended me a couple and I picked the $70 Sulhwasoo bc it felt really silky on my hand. I ended up using some on my face and liked it. I come home to find the oil on top and color clumped on the bottom. That's fine, you just shake it right? The expiration date is of Dec 2025. I have 6 months to use this whole bottle. I used my last foundation for over a year. There is no way a foundation shelf life is only 6 months, that thing has been sitting on that shelf for years. Also, I bought Anessa sunscreen for less than $20 bucks, they sell it for $39. This place can't get rid of their make up bc of their prices and customer service so if you do end up shopping here, you'll end up with overpriced, almost expired makeup. O and they make it clear there are no refunds or exchanges. I have never encountered a beauty store that doesn't do exchanges. How will you ever try new make up at this store? What if you break out or get almost expired make up? Such a waste of money.... Don't bother going here, there's other make up stores in the mall, try them out or buy online from a reputable store
