I am updating my review in regards to the point system I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Joaan , she truly is amazing. She knows how to have a conversation and take her customers "ideas" into consideration. She was very helpful during my visit today! This business is woman owned and the vibe here is amazing, from ramen, to snacks, and sweet treats! They have it all! Definitely check it out! read more

I love this place, I always get the cheesy ramen and an onigiri on the side, it's such a yum combo. The employees are nice and helpful, and it's always a comfortable spot to go and make some ramen at. read more

SEOULPOP - Soy flavor Noodle - Convenience Stores Near Me - Brea, California

What a cool spot for building your own Ramen! It's a popular Korean convenience store right inside the Brea mall on the first floor. This is a perfect spot to try a new ramen. There are so much to choose from. They have different spice level to choose from. Simply pick a ramen of your choice. Once you selected the package, pay at the counter. If you need to add any toppings, side dishes or make it a combo, you can do so at the counter. After you pay for Ramen, you can simply go and cook it. Instructions are provided on the machine step by step on how to cook the ramen and when to add the ingredients. Your ramen will be cooked within 4 minutes. You can also purchase snacks, drinks and ice cream desserts. They have merchandise like lalabu, beauty items, etc. Ordered: Added egg, green onions. It was delicious Rabokki Noodle dish. I will definitely be back to try other flavoring ramen. Friendly staff. Great service. read more

Great spot if you're looking for a quick meal at the mall! We loved the ramen and topping selection that they offered. After selecting the ramen, you go to the cashier to select your toppings and pay. The cashier was really friendly and gave instructions on how to cook it at the stations. It takes less than five minutes to cook and it's ready to eat :) My only complaint is the restaurant can get pretty crammed. We were lucky to find seating right away though. read more

So many choices of ramen, drinks and desserts. It's a small place that you can come in and choose your items then take it to the register. There you can order additional items to top of your ramen like an egg or added protein, etc. Then you go to the cooking machine and it makes it quickly with the hot water and then to your table to eat. The drinks I like they have zero sugar added choices as well. The staff were helpful and friendly and they place was clean but seating is very limited as it's very small. It's more like a covienence store than a restaurant. My hubby would definitely come back again when at the mall. I would probably get a drink there or share a dessert as ramen is not my thing. read more

What a cool experience and great concept to have Korean instant noodles in the mall! They have a huge variety of ramyeon to choose from, and it's fun to try different types of ramyeon. I also liked how the ramyeon was nicely organized. The place had a fun and cool vibe. You should try it out if you're an instant noodle lover or you crave for ramyeon when you're tired of shopping in the mall! FYI, Ramyun (라면) is the Korean word for instant noodles Ramyeon: Another transliteration of the Korean word, sometimes used interchangeably with "ramyun". read more

Very clean, the layout and selection was plentiful. Slightly high prices, but it's inside of the mall, so I understand. The atmosphere was lively and the staff were nice. read more

Are you obsessed with Korean ramen as much as my pre-teen and teenage daughters? If so, Seoul Street is the place for you. Is the price reasonable? Nope - you can probably get a pack of the same ramen at a local market for a much cheaper price. But is the experience where you get to make your own instant ramen fun? Yep! The experience is probably what you're paying for. There's a lot of similar places in O.C. but this is more conveniently located inside the Brea Mall, so that's a huge plus. It is self-serviced except when you are ordering your toppings + checking out, and the restaurant is clean. Definitely worth a try! read more

I stopped by about an hour before closing, and it seemed like everyone else had the same idea because there were about six people ahead of me, making the entrance area a bit crowded while we waited to pick out our ramen. Despite the rush, the service was fast and attentive. Once you choose your ramen, it takes around four minutes to heat up using the warm water dispenser. I went with the lobster-flavored ramen and added cilantro, green onion, corn, fish cake, and a boiled egg which was super flavorful and satisfying. I also grabbed a blue lemonade for a sweet treat. I'd definitely come again. Just be prepared for limited space and a crowd during peak times. read more

Such a cute little spot when you're in the middle of shopping and have a taste for home-cooked ramen in between. There's a wide selection of ramen packets that you can choose from. I love that they labeled the non-spicy ones because it can be a little overwhelming trying to search for them when there's a large crowd. We came on a Saturday so it was very busy. The restaurant isn't very big so it was pretty tight while we picked out our ramen and waited in line. The worker at the front was very kind and very patient. He asked if it was our first time and explained how the process worked. After you order, there are hot water stations. It was pretty simple but I'm not a fan of how close to the tables they are. As I'm walking away with a bowl full of hot water there are guests sitting directly behind the stations. It's an easy accident to spill hot water being that close to one another. We couldn't find any tables so we had to stand the entire time. It was pretty uncomfortable. But our ramens were great! read more

The service is best! I'm seriously appreciate their service which was really kind and helpful with this confused momma of how to use the machine, yes it's my first time so good instruction on how to use it is seriously helpful! The lady is helpful and the young guy who's looking so neat and clean, is so kind! He didn't need to smile more, his face is already smiley The 3 star is only for the space, it's so small dear! Too small for the hype and good variety of tea pouch they have! Ambiance is good, whole situation is good lol.. just the space! It's 3 star...it's too small. Be sure to tip them! The staffs are worth for it! I don't have pictures of the noodle and the tea that I got since I got 3 hungry Dino and 1 fuzzy picky eater with me! Bear with me...they're good! read more

First time here and the employees are helpful and nice about a newbie at their restaurant. They helped pick out the delicious spicy ramen and my add ons - boiled egg, spam, onions. Then they explained the machine with boiling water and how to stir and put the add ons in the ramen soup. Delicious delicious like homemade ramen at home the most tasty soup I have ever had. The location is clean and cute all at the same time. I will definitely be back soon. read more

I'm so happy this fun spot is here. Although it can get busy, everyone seems to understand the assignment. No one stays at a table too long to just chatter and not give consideration to others who want to drop in for a quick bite. I've been here 3 times so far and it's an overall cool place for a hardy quick bite and a drink. The ramen selections are great. Friendly, quick and easy service. I love my coffee and banana milk combo! Toppings provided, good selection as well. Cute and clean atmosphere. See you soon! read more

My instant ramen loving 7yr dream spot! Always wanted to try one of those make your own ramen spots and happy to see on open at our local mall. The ramen choices were overwhelming but nicely organized by spice level. Service was great and the cooking machine was very straightforward and easy to operate. They also have microwaves for the frozen sides. Expensive for instant ramen but your paying for the vibe and experience. My only complaint is they need to have bigger soup spoons. read more

A cute and fun store with a Korean convenience store concept! I was so impressed by the huge variety of ramyeon that I was able to choose the ramyeon I wanted to eat after a long time. We chose 3 types of ramyeon, a triangle kimbap, ice cups, and sodas, and there were so many toppings that I wanted to try them all. I cooked the ramen according to the staff's instructions, and it was so easy that I was surprised and amazed. It was lunch time on a weekend, so there were a lot of people and we had a great time. Oh, and they sell Labubu clothes! I bought a cute overalls and a hat! read more

Wow! I happen to be in the area and was told by their employee it's their first day in business! Too bad I ate lunch already, but can't wait to try out this! Love that there is a instant ramen lunch option inside the Brea Mall now!! The "affordable options" in the food court don't even feel affordable these days! Get your noodle cravings here! I glanced at the menu and it's clear and easy to understand! $8 roughly and they have toppings ! Sodas! Candies! Even trinkets! Everything you could need and more! The ice cream and ice coffee options look great! The packaged coffee is about $3, + $1 for the ice cup! The employee I met was so nice! So excited for this place and to bring friends!!! read more

I love ramen, my family does too. But honestly it is overpriced. We paid $45 for 4 ramen, 1 side of jalapeños, mozzarella, limes and 1 boil egg. The staff is nice. Going in it was confusing and chaotic. It was really busy and the establishment is small. They have a few tables in the corner but trying to walk through the tables to get out is a tight squeeze. It's also hazardous as you have to squeeze through the tables putting the tray with boiling hot soup over people's head to pass through. They have a wide variety of soups but not enough sides and the sides are over priced. Ambiance gave me anxiety. I would not recommend. Sorry read more

This rating is based on service. My son, who has a disability that is not visible, asked for help on how to cook the noodles at the water station. The guy who was behind the counter rudely told him to "read the directions, they're right in front of you." My son asked him again if he can just help him and his friend and he rolled his eyes and reluctantly put the water in them. Management needs to train staff better and train in customer service. Not all disabilities are visible! If someone is asking for help, it's because they need it! Son did say food was good and would go back. read more

Really cool concept especially if you like instant ramen. You can pick your own toppings and sides. Service is fine, since it's mainly self serve here. The only really big issue is the cleanliness. Spilled soup is everywhere. All over where they put the utensils, cooking stations, trash cans, food trays, etc. It's really dirty and makes it off putting to eat inside. I hope they start to clean up more often. read more

I visited Seoul Street and really enjoyed the unique vibe--it felt just like a convenience store in Korea. I tried one of the packaged drinks, which was fun and refreshing. I'd definitely go back again. One small downside was that, since they're still in the early stages of opening, some items didn't have price tags, which was a bit inconvenient. read more

As a Korean born in Seoul, this store really caught my eye when I walked by it today. Although my family and I were in the area to check out the new Uniqlo today, my daughters actually wanted to go into this store to see the employee they thought was cute, so we decided to check it out. The store has a great selection of real Korean 편의점 foods, which brought back some memories from Korea. That said, some of the items did feel a bit pricey in my opinion. (I mean I guess we pay for the overall experience here) I do kindof wished they sold more Korean street foods like 호떡 or 어묵 The employee was very kind, he made some suggestions on ramyun but we already had dinner by the time we came. My wife and I ended up buying our kids a bunch of mini ice creams for our daughters to eat. When he heard my wife speak Korean to me, he asked us if "봉투 필요하세요?" (Do you need a bag) which honestly caught me off guard! After talking with him a little more he also mentioned that for their grand opening, they were offering a gift bag full of goodies. Even though my wife and I don't eat this type of food often, we plan to come back this Friday to check it out. Maybe we'll try the ramyun then! read more
