Seoul B.B.Q has a lot going for it -- the atmosphere is lively, the side dishes are fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Unfortunately, the main event -- the meat -- was a bit of a letdown. Some cuts were tough and lacked the rich flavor I was hoping for, even with the marinades. A few pieces felt over-marinated to the point of being overly salty, while others just didn't have much taste at all. For a Korean BBQ spot, I expected the meat to really stand out, and it just didn't hit the mark. Overall, it's a fun place with a good vibe, but if you're going mainly for the barbecue, you might leave wanting more.

Bulgogi Bento (takeout only)

I've been a loyal customer of over 10 years. The quality of the food has been consistently delicious. I was highly disappointed when they eliminated their amazing lunch menu but their recent "to go" items have brought me back to them. Please do yourself the favor and order the bulgogi bento for takeout, it doesn't disappoint.

I've heard of Korean BBQ, but I've never been until a few days ago when my brother insisted we go. Seoul B.B.Q is located across the street from WestFarms, right next to GoodWill. They have an all you can eat menu, for $40 per person. I think that's very pricy. Since it was our first time dining here, we might not have been fully informed on how to order. Basically we just got meat, how is it possible that there wasn't a single pepper, carrot, broccoli or any green? For the meat lover, they don't care, but I like a balanced meal. I got the Kimchi soup, this was very flavorful, hot and spicy, it was filled with a lot of cabbage. It reminded me of my mom's soup, I enjoyed it. As far as the meat, I liked the Bulgogi. They bring you bowls of any meat that you choose, and you cook it yourself. Some were very fatty, some were thinner. Periodically the staff will come and switch out the grill top once it gets too charred, for a clean one. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I don't think this is for me, some of the meat had a high fat content, too much meat, and it's too expensive.

I visited Seoul BBQ on a Saturday night at around 7PM for a party of 6, and we were seated immediately. Since we had some kids in our party and they wanted to opt out of the actual KBBQ, we ordered a la carte rather than doing AYCE which worked for us. We ordered some soups, some a la carte meats, and the seafood pancake. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but the quality of it wasn't great either. If you're expecting top quality KBBQ, this probably won't be the spot for you, but it gets the job done if you're craving it.

This is the best Korean restaurant in the central CT area. I also often order takeout from them, but the food is so much better in the restaurant. It's worth getting your clothes smelling of bbq for the day. They have a good selection of banchan (small Korean dishes). Their soon tofu soups are really tasty as well as their bibimbaps (mixed rice dishes). I always order a haemul-pajeon (seafood pancake) or a kimchi jeon (kimchi pancake) as an appetizer. As for the bbq, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi and LA galbi. Now that I'm reading this over, I realize that there's a lot of Korean words, which may seem daunting when ordering. But never fear, the menu has detailed descriptions and really, it's all good and worth a try.

Hot bibimbap

Vegetable Tempura is amazing and the Bulgogi Bento box has a variety or little appetizer to share with a group Just the best Korean restaurant staff is always polite and quick to answer any questions you may have if you like cooking your own food they have a grill at the table for you to cook on with fresh meats and vegetables

Second time here. We come because the quality of the food is legit. Service is solid. The staff are attentive and service is prompt. Ambience-wise, it's a Korean BBQ place. It's going to smell like BBQ and they play plenty of KPop. Authentic flavors and generous portions. We had the fermented soybean stew (된장 찌개) and beef bone soup (갈비탕). The entrees were very flavorful. The variety of banchan was very good, but a couple of the side dishes were a bit salty for our tastes. But, it's a great place to get your Korean fix when you're in CT, and it gives the area some culinary variety. Highly recommended.

Crazy wicked amazing authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. Beyond ridiculous from the quality, taste portion sizes , customer service and especially the feeling of being "home" in Seoul....

We enjoyed the meats and can't complain about the chef when we were the cooks right at our table! A fun and different experience.

We immediately felt welcomed as we walked in to the dimly lit but inviting ambiance of the bar. The drinks were made by India. She even inquired on how we prefer our drinks, more sweet or or strong, which was nice. Usually you just get what you get. She made sure we were happy with our drinks and she served our food as well. Very personable and driven to make sure we were pleased. The food was great! We got there in time for happy hour, my favorite!!! We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, the best we've ever had! I actually don't care for them, but this chef changed my mind! We ordered a plethora of wings; Garlic Parmesan, Peach Habanero and Sweet Chili Thai Wings, all of which were big, not dry, and perfectly glazed. We also ordered the Goat Burgers that we had to bring home. The kids scored those! Plating was to perfection and definitely impressive. We will definitely be back with family and friends! Give them a try, you won be disappointed!

A few things on the menu were no longer available. But the Rasta pasta is a must try!!
