I have done a few treatments of skin tightening on my face and laser hair removal on my body with Leanna. My services have been great; Leanna is very knowledgeable about the lasers and discussed skin goals with me. The hair removal did not hurt with the cool blast. I had high hopes for this clinic--and for a brief moment, I felt like I'd found the right place. But that hope didn't last. As a trans woman, facial laser hair removal is not cosmetic--it's gender-affirming care. And when a business markets itself as trans-friendly, plasters a trans flag on the building, and promotes itself as a trusted place for our community, I expect the care to reflect that. Instead, after an encouraging initial consultation, I was met in subsequent sessions with cold energy, rushed treatments, and dismissive tone. The last two sessions left me feeling deflated, not affirmed--like a problem to be managed, not a person to be cared for. On top of that, I had a deeply uncomfortable experience in the waiting room with another client, who misgendered me repeatedly and made inappropriate comments about my appearance. The space felt unsafe, and nothing was done. To be clear: the person at the front desk has always been warm and welcoming. But that alone doesn't make a space affirming. Consistent, attuned care does. These sessions are expensive. I've tipped generously, in good faith, because I believed I was receiving care from a clinic that got it. That believed in what I was doing. I no longer feel that's true. And the emotional cost--on top of the literal one--is too much to swallow. I'm sharing this not out of spite, but because it matters. This place and experience deserves ZERO stars. I look COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! I got my botox completed on October 4th. I waited a few weeks for it to settle in and it looks terrible. I should have ran like my gut instinct told me to when the woman doing my injection asked me "how many units do I want". I travel alot for work, so I have received botox in many different states in the past, but I have NEVER been asked how many units do I want. Usually, the injector evaluates my specific area (forehead) and administers the necessary amounts based on their expertise and the look that I tell them I am going for. None of this happened at my appointment at Senza Pelo Med Spa. My appointment was all of 7 minutes max! I was asked if I had botox before and how many units do I want, then she injected. Which produced these horrible results. I now have uneven eyebrows that have peaked unnaturally high. The one forehead line that I was getting treated has now turned into multiple fine lines due to the eyebrows moving drastically. NONE of this is how it should look at all. My past botox experiences at other companies have been great, my forehead was "frozen", very smooth and my eyebrows had slight movement to give a semi-natural look, but the main thing was that my forehead was completely smooth and free of wrinkles. Unfortunately, my forehead and eyebrows do not look like that at all right now! In addition to this I feel like they were using watered down/ fake botox as some areas are already starting to wear off and it hasn't even been a full month yet. I experienced a horrible headache that day after the injection (which I've never experienced in the past after Botox). I tried to look at the box that she took the vial from but it was as if she was intentionally moving it so I could not see it. I feel completely ripped off and I spent my hard earned money, over $200 on terrible and possibly toxic (illegal or diluted) botox. To make matters worse I am unable to have it corrected now that I have traveled out of state for work. However, even if I was in the state I do not trust them to inject me again after these results and I do not trust the authenticity of the Botox that they use! At this point, I am hoping that it continues to wear off early so that I don't have to keep walking around looking foolish with uneven eyebrows that reach the sky. If you want quality botox results and if you want to know what's being injected into your body, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

The owner does my electrolysis, I think she is doing a great job, during covid it's important to feel that the facility is clean, and precautions are being taken which i believe they are. My first visit was filled with information and she took the time to show me diagrams of exactly what electrolysis is and how it's done. Very informative. I have now gone back 3 times and it's actually really far for me but I realize that I really like going because during the electrolysis we talk and have really great conversations and I feel like she is so caring and genuine. Seemed the person providing the service was more interested in upselling laser done concurrently with electrolysis than she was in actually providing the service that I booked. Still waiting for the results to see if I'll proceed with electrolysis but if I do it'll be somewhere else. After completing the service the guy at the desk practically scolded me for not telling him that I was using a Groupon though they would've known if they had actually greeted me when I came in. Love this place. Love this team. Love everything about it. I have gotten electrolysis from María and laser from Stephanie, both have handled me with care. Coming in, I was anxious and a tad scared since it was my first time but they guided me, told me what to expect, and set me up for success. Electrolysis does hurt(which it's expected). I suggest getting a nerve blocker shot before your appointment to numb the area, if you can. 2nd time in I got laser on my pubic area and all the way around. Didn't hurt as much as I expected but laughed through the whole process(my way of coping with pain.) I definitely recommend this team and staff. I will be completing my hair removal journey with them and can wait for the result. I am a person of color, so this isn't a easy task without having someone who knows what they're doing. read more

I recently struggled with botox results with my last injector for a year. After many return visits and never getting it right I made the decision to try this place by a recommendation of a friend. I called to book an appointment on the phone Robyn who was very helpful. She set me up with Jeff. I almost asked to switch to a female. I am so glad I did not. Jeff was awesome. He took the time to explain to me how botox is mixed etc. I have never had any provider explain this process to me.
