This is the best coffee shop/lunch stop in the area! Silver Springs is a lovely community, but…read morethis little gem makes it even better. The owners work tirelessly to bring quality atmosphere and food to it's patrons. They are so kind and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable. Cafe le Matin has great coffee, breakfast and lunch menu items, but one of the best eggs benedicts I have had in Calgary. They have a few Korean dishes as well. The Bugolgi Long Burger is delicious and worth a try if you are feeling like trying something new and delicious. They also have Bipimbap. Their portions are very generous. You may have trouble finishing. As many businesses have struggled during COVID times, these folks have as well, but they are not giving up. Please support this family owned and operated business and keep your hard earned money local rather than supporting large chains who are often owned internationally. Also, they have some challenges with adjacent businesses inappropriately taking over the parking stalls directly in front of Cafe le Matin.

The brunch menu has lots of traditional options (eggs & bacon, omlettes etc) and the coffee is fantastic. The set up involves you ordering & paying at the main counter and then once you choose a seat, your order will be delivered to you. I spied some amazing looking rice krispie squares that I didn't get a taste of, but a good reason to come back again soon!

This place is pretty poppin' on a Sunday. Talk about popular brunch spots. First come, first…read moreserved, no reservations. I know this place exists because of their generosity to Camp Outlook. They have absolutely 100% scrumptious bread! And baked goodies. I love their dinner buns. They are made in this pull-a-part style and absolutely delicious to accompany soup, or toasted with butter, or, Pb&J, or cheese. Almost anything really, you can't go wrong. I was in Kingston recently and really wanted those dinner buns, unfortunately they didn't have them. Not on Sunday, not on Monday. I settled for their mini olive and rosemary dinner rolls. They were good too. Service here is pretty on point. There was a question I had asked the lady behind the counter and she came out from behind the counter to help answer any questions I had and serve me. She was really awesome! They have a catering menu, a cafe for brunch, they have fresh breads available and they do specialty cakes. They are totally the real deal. AND they sell Neal Brothers' cheese puffs. Havent been able to find these bad boys anywhere. They discontinued them in grocery retailers and health food stores don't seem to carry them. I'm in Toronto and havent been able to find them for a couple of years. They are a pretty penny, yet worth it for the sheer pleasure. Their store front is spacious and inviting. Certainly the place to be, everyone seemed to be walking in when I went. It is very well known. They can for sure accomodate a large amount of people. I would most definitely revisit when Im in the city next.

The sliced turkey with 2 years aged cheddar on rye bread was delish. The dressing was refreshing as well. The Portuguese egg tart was different from NYC. Maybe it would've kicked it up a notch if it was warmed up with a more crisp. But also yummy.
