They have a regular sesame chicken special (not to be confused with the Americanized Chinese dish of the same name). It's not battered and fried, and it's not sweet. IMHO, it's better. And you can't beat the price of $6.99. The portions are good, everything is made fresh, the sushi is fair (but so is the price). Reading some of the older reviews it's easy to see why restaurant owners fislike Yelpers. Two words, unfair expectations. If you expect five star experiences at a two star price, you're the one that's delusional. If you get what you pay for then you only have room to praise, not condemn. Their service is fast, this place is not fancy but the owners keep it clean. I've never been in there where they aren't mopping the floor or wiping down tables and the like. And they're very friendly! Small towns like this need people like this who are willing to open up restaurants and charge fair prices. The alternative is a town filled with boring chain restaurants or, even worse, poorly run chains run by people who don't care! So, buy local when you can!

Bacon Steakie Bun: If a bao bun is on a menu anywhere, I'm definitely getting it! This bun was gently fried, setting it apart from the many bao buns I've eaten. It gave a nice texture contrast to the tender pork belly. Delish! Brussels Sprouts: I don't think I've ever gone to a restaurant and NOT ordered these mini cabbage-like delights! These may now hold the number one spot for me! Lemongrass, caramel, sea salt, and lemon juice. Perfectly crispy outside and just soft enough inside. The balance of sweet, salty, and acidic made these flavor bombs our favorite dish of the night! Takoyaki: another usual favorite of mine, but these were a bit underwhelming. While these are probably more authentic with the spring roll-like filling, I prefer the creamy, cheesy ones. Kani Salad: Another go-to item for us. A simple salad that for some reason just always makes us happy. Spring mix, crab sticks, cucumber, tempura flakes, and a spicy mayo dressing. Light, but full of flavor and texture. Truffle Hama: Yellowtail, avocado, truffle ponzu, and candied garlic, served under a smoke-filled glass. I just can't express how delicious this was! I will order this again there 10 out of 10 times. Sushi: We started with a piece of Smoked Salmon Belly Nigiri. Perfect! We then had a simple salmon and avocado roll. A really good classic sushi roll with very generous pieces of salmon and avocado. Trash Panda Roll: tuna, salmon, mango, grilled green onion, and crunchy garlic. Good flavors with good texture. Paradise Roll: a soy paper roll (I prefer the soy wrap to nori) with spicy lobster salad, shrimp tempura, topped with banana tempura and mango sauce. Very different with the tempura-fried banana on top, but really good! I especially liked the mango sauce on top. I would order that again.
