I've been getting glasses for more than 40 years and this was the absolute worst exam. After the exam they refused to give me a copy of the updated prescription. I had to call the corporate office to get a copy of the prescription sent...only to find out that the prescription wasn't valid. After 5 more phone calls they offered me a new exam or they would validate the bad prescription. Why would I have another exam if the first was bad? Why should I accept a questionable prescription? When I visited, there were times that there was no nurse, but only "Tech's" on duty in the memory care area. Brentwood messed up but refuses to admit it. Unfortunately appearances are deceiving and words are cheap. Mom stayed at Millers less than 1 year. During that time she was verbally intimidated by the owner Sheila at least on 2 separate occasions. I am certain additional abuse occurred that remains undocumented. My heart breaks at the thought of my mom and the other residents had to live in fear each day. Our family reported the abuse to the State of Michigan ,and Millers AFC did get cited for intimidation. Please think twice before placing your loved one in their care.

Several caregivers have been involved with memory care residents for two to three decades. Family wants and needs are always respected. As concerns the facility, updates are completed under difficult circumstances with minimal disruption. Contractors' staffs are respectful of the needs and limitations of the residents. This is unacceptable! at 1:54 p.m. the officer was transporting her back to the facility. How sad is this???? Do not place anyone at this facility. ....omg, so sad! She sat there without anyone realizing she was missing for over 4 hours. She had not eaten, used a restroom or had anyone care for her except for a decent human being that noticed she had been sitting there for quite some time while they shopped.
