His advice was invaluable. He was always there for me, whenever I had questions. He was super responsive, emailing back or calling right away. And through this process my mom kept changing her mind about where she wanted to live (mid-peninsula near her friends, south bay near me), and so our requirements kept changing. My mother has lived here for a little over two years in assisted living. She has also stayed in the…read moreattached skilled nursing (SNF) section several times after various medical issues where she required higher level care while she recovered. She has received excellent care in the SNF on all the occasions while there, has recovered quickly and was able to go back to her apartment on the other side. She has most recently been in independent living with no care needs. But there is still help for her there whenever she needs it. Having every level of care available on site is a huge plus. I always know that she will have the exact right care level as she ages and her needs change. I have had experience with many other SNF's in the area with both my parents and this facility is by far my top choice. This is one of the reasons I had mom move into the assisted living section when she was no longer comfortable living on her own. She is always guaranteed a bed in the SNF when needed. The staff is kind and caring and always performs above and beyond my expectations. It hasn't always been perfect. No place is... There was a brief period when she first moved in that there were some staffing issues and the executive director position was in flux. But that is all resolved. Issues do occasionally come up and need to be sorted out. The management is always available and helpful when these situations arise. I can't say enough good things about Julie, the executive director and Jetrey, the head of nursing in assisted living. They go the extra mile to make sure my mom's needs are always met. My 91 year old mom is very happy here and I am comforted to know she is well cared for and is in the best place to live her remaining years.
