The sales pitch started out with a PowerPoint presentation on why you should do business with this company. Then it was a pitch on what I needed when I told him I knew what I wanted and already had other quotes. He asked me what the price was for the quotes I had. I said that wouldn't be fair so just give me your best quote and your panel choices and if you're in the ballpark we can go from there. His quote was 40k more than 2 other quotes I had. I told him he wasn't even in the ballpark. He said that if I was willing to let them put a sign in my yard for 30 days he could offer me a price 30k less. After I laughed he asked what it would take for me to make a deal today. There was nothing at that point that would get me to make a deal ever but I was game to see what his boss who he needed to call would offer. He said his boss would come down another 5k. Still over by 10% I said thanks for coming out but no sale. He asked if I had any issues with him personally and I didn't. Nice enough guy and he wasn't really the high pressure pushy type, just a nice guy working for a questionable company. I would not waste my time with these folks and have no idea how they are SRP Certified. Get your solar elsewhere. Once the company I chose finishes there install I'll let everyone know who they are if they live up to their promises. I will say that they are a small family business where the sales person is the boss and his assorted employees are mostly family. And dad used to own a very large electric company that sold out to private equity. So odds are good even though they are young they will be around a long time.

Fast forward 3.5 years later and the system has completely stopped working for 2 months now. When you call you get Rob who is completely distracted. Rob doesn't quite know how to help you get your system working again. Rob knows that it's going to cost you $350 to diagnose why it's not working but not sure who or ?? to get out to you. Then Rob agreed to ask them to replace it under warranty. Call Rob a few days past his "I'll call you back" day and Rob is out running errands and says they will replace it but I have to pay $650 to install the new unit. Then he says "I gotta go" now it's 2 days later and no Rob, no contact to pay to replace a $13,000 plus system that's not working 3.5 years later. I'm going to contact the better business bureau and the Attorney General because I'm at a loss on how to get a paid in full 3.5 year old system to work again. How does the company that sold it and saying it's under warranty not know how to fix the problem? Shame on you Rooftop Solar. You have no customer service when you are selling faulty equipment that's $13,000.

A storm caused some damage and I have been calling and leaving messages to get it repaired since mid-July. I have spoken to a few people there who promise to get the repairs done. Nothing has happened yet. Very disappointed. I feel like they are new home builders. They promise to fix things under warranty but put you off over and over until you are out of warranty.

The install went quick and the crew was professional and friendly. Our Project manager, Jacqueline was always cheerful and made sure she answered our questions adequately. My only disappointment if I can call it that, was the wait time from the install completion date to the APS connection date. Apparently the same wait time is industry wide. We will update our review once we have some time on our system. For now, We are happy to be producing Clean electricity with our SunPower Solar System!

They are quick to respond and go out of their way to make sure issues are addressed as soon as possible even in the worst heat of the summer! Most recently on a 105+ day our heat pump stopped working, the evening before I was to leave out of town. The owner was able to get someone out very early the next morning before I had to leave for the airport. I felt very comfortable and confident in Mike's ability to take care of our a/c. I had to leave, but he stayed and finished the job very nicely, and the cost was very reasonable. My husband and daughters were very happy to have the a/c fixed so quickly (as was I). For 8 years I had hired a friend company to service my new AC…read more This year, when I called to have a yearly service I was told that such wad not needed yearly but only every several years. 2 weeks ago, my AC was not working, I was told by my friends company that it was probably just a filter needing changing. I knew it was more. I had read about ALIEN Air online so I contacted this company and they fit me in the next day after I had told them I could not wait 2 days for an opening. I am so very glad I tried a new family owned service. Right off the bat he showed me that my wires were fried. He got the AC cooling but needed to reschedule a in a week to fix other serious issues that he had no time for. When he returned, he was on my roof for over 3 hours. My drain was so plugged up and coils filthy that it required serious work. This AC was new in 2018! I had had yearly service without fail. I will NEVER GO BACK to the other company as He FAIMED to properly service my new AC! I also required a fan to be replaced...my freon was so low it too needed replenishing. Chris, the owner worked with another technician and kept me abreast with video photos showing the entire work needing done. I am so very impressed, grateful to have switched to this Company. I am 75, live alone, unable with my 4 dogs, AFIB and a broken leg to have dealt with 110 weather that week. I am also so disappointed to find that a friend took yearly payments & Never provided even a basic service as requested to make sure my AC never failed to cool my home. I have NEVER PREFERED LOW PRICE OVER QUALITY WORK. I highly recommend Chris and his Company ALIEN AC because he believes in proper preventative service of ALL AC units! He would prefer being on a roof checking out and securing all the bells and whistles providing preventitavine safeguards in the AZwinter over a "devil's armpit" major repair in the worst of AZ summer heat. I will never fail to follow his advice and have a REAL PREVENTATIVE SERVICE SCHEDULED. My friend was no friend afterall, as I learned from this experience!
