Even from our first consultation, we exchanged contact information and before my first appointment had time for me to send pictures from Pinterest of what I wanted my dyed hair to look like. Not only that, but she then did her own looking online to find similar ideas and photos to send to me to really verify that she was certain about the specific look I was going for. You can feel that they really CARE about how your look turns out here, which is a nice feeling - instilled from the first moment I walked in and was immediately offered a drink while I waited on a comfortable couch for my appointment to start. (their shop is SO CUTE.) When it came to actually getting the hair dyed and trimmed, again the process was very communicative and all about MY input on what I wanted, which was great. Natalie also is a joy to talk to and kept me entertained with a string of friendly conversation the whole way through. Price-wise, I have had my hair dyed at a fair amount of places and this was definitely the cheapest, by at least $30-$40 dollars, yet I had not a single complaint with my hair and have been so incredibly happy with how the dyeing turned out. If you want a place that actually listens to your requests and values communication, has a cozy and home-y aesthetic, and is not going to be the biggest burden on your wallet, check out Natalie at Gloss. I was so excited for my appointment, something so simple getting a trim to clean up the ends, and i ended up leaving in tears wishing i left when i first questioned the place. They need work on customer service and how to welcome their customers. They didnt charge me which i was thankful for but i think they didnt because they recognized the poor service and bad cut i was left with. While I didn't have an appointment, I was accommodated with an appointment only an hour and 15 minutes later. They have a lot of dip colors and they are grouped together in a way that makes it easy to choose. I had John, and he greeted me right away asking my color and how I liked my nails. He got started by removing my old dip- he meticulously took off each layer, I don't remember the last time that happened. Then he carefully painted and dipped each finger individually- every other place I've gone paints all my nails then dips them. He also used a small brush on each finger dusting off each nail. Sometimes other places use the gel on top of the dip, but they use a regular top coat and I think that lasts better. There are a lot of technician's and as I looked around, each was completely focused on their clients. I highly recommend an appointment, and very highly recommend!

It's been incredible to see her growth…read morefrom working at the place at the mall, to a booth at lotus, and now she has her own salon with multiple threaders. My sister and I went together today and had booked Jillian (currently a trainee and a licensed aesthetician), Ruby was already booked up. Jillian is amazing! She was super gentle, especially on eyebrows that have spent way too long without being threaded. Another trainee was watching Jillian and we all learned so much from her! My eyebrows look incredible and they weren't red!! The ambiance of the place is great. There was a Whitney Houston playlist going when we came in and her star spangled banner came on and two older friends were having such a beautiful moment listening to it. Holly and I both commented on her incredible salon chairs, they had a great foot rest and they spin so your threader can use the strongest light and stance. Ruby, congratulations on this amazing achievement! And thank you for sharing your talents with others. Even though it's 1.5 hours away for me, I'm still there.

Audrey is always accommodating, when I forget to schedule a service, she'll add it right on. For the first time in years, I love my gray hair as it always looks exceptional!!! My nails have never looked better and I am Always getting compliments. After my first facial, my skin looked refreshed, as I did too!!! The staff is very friendly and the salon is extremely clean. It's a great break from every day life and stress.
