Made an appt for 2 gel pedicures. Arrived 5 minutes early. Was told to wash my hands before touching polish samples . Was directed to chairs where I sat waiting for the basin to be filled. 10-15 minutes goes by. They finally fill our basins with scalding hot water. They start my daughter's pedicure and I wait. They are starting her polish when they finally start my pedicure. We came together. They took walk ins right before my appointment. Because I knew the walk ins. I was left with the wrong color despite being asked more than once. And sharp nails. The staff were not very friendly or welcoming. And the topper was they told me my services were $5.00 more than quoted on their website. Poor Customer Service. read more

I went there today and there was literally one person getting her manicure. They said they didn't have time to do my nails yet there were two workers and one of them wasn't doing anything. I went in wanting an ombré powder mani this time around, opting for a turquoise blue and pink set of nails. Thanh is amazing -- she did my nails this time and last time, and both turned out beautifully. My last mani here by her lasted 4 wks with no chipping, something that has never happened with even the most expensive manicures I've had. My last set of nails here were a pink-purple ombré and I must have gotten 1,000 compliments asking me where I got them done. She's my go-to girl, and I always love how my nails turn out here. She's always super attentive to detail and it's always a collaborative effort to figure out the best color/nail shape/design -- she's definitely a master at her craft. read more

Everyone there is lovely and if I get my nails done with someone other than Cindy, I know they're still going to be nice. When they're busy, they tag team a bit so you don't sit around waiting. I recently moved to the area, and scheduled an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The technician rushed through both services. Apparently there was another person booked 30 minutes behind me... unclear if this was their error or intentionally booked this way. 3 days later manicure began peeling and less than a week later I needed a new pedicure due to peeling. I have been here a couple times now and had very different experiences each time. The first time I had a pedicure which was great! I loved the salon, it was clean and new and the staff (though didn't speak great English) was super nice! The second time, just a polish change and same thing, I really enjoyed it. The last time I went in it was a Saturday so it was busy. I asked for a full set with gel polish and they said yes that it would just be a wait. I waited for about ten minutes and then we got started. The entire time just felt soooo rushed and my nails came out super messy. The polish didn't stay in the curing machine long enough because they kept pulling my hands out early to save on time. The polish was all bumpy and full of lines and indents. I went back and he tried to fix them super fast and it didn't really work. The nails are all stuck to my skin underneath and some of my real nails are showing from underneath. Overall, just such a messy and horrible full set. I will never go back because of this one bad experience. You need to make every time great, not just some of the times. read more

I do not recommend this mail spa!! First, upon arrival ( we were 10 min early so we could pick color). The receptionist was annoyed annoyed and "called us out for being early!!" Who doesn't that?? My mother scheduled 2 appointments at 3:00 for us to be done at the same time. Well... I had to wait for my mother to be done... 30 minutes later. When my mother asked the receptionist... she denied the mistake in front of the owner. Then she quietly admitted the mistake once she checked my mother out. She never apologized... nothing! Now skip ahead to my manicure... it's terrible! The man filed my nails one last time once my polish was set. Well... now I have white tips... because he filed the color off!!! I used to go to Happy Nails in Saco, but once it changed hands I didn't really have a preferred place for my nails. Then I ran into one of the girls who I used to see at Happy Nails one day and she informed me that she opened her own store which was Imperial Nails. I scheduled an appointment to have a mani,pedi, and a eyebrow wax. I loved the location! Very relaxing, wonderful service and my nails are beautiful! I am from California where there is a nail shop on every corner. I have been looking for a shop for a year in Maine that puts a liner in the pedi bowl in between customers. This place does!
