At the recommendation of a friend, I called Semper Fi in January to replace 2 outlets, install a Nest doorbell and a new thermostat. The electrician was very professional and did a very thorough job. In addition, the price was very reasonable. A few days ago, I was having some problems with one outlet. I emailed Semper Fi and the owner responded very promptly. Spoke to the lady who answers the phone and was unprofessional and unapologetic when appointment was mistakenly scheduled by her for the morning instead of the agreed upon afternoon, 4/5. Electrician showed up in am and had to be turned away because my wife nor I was home, only my son. He said it was no big deal and he could do the work and leave the bill. Yeah, and I have a dozen questions to ask and make sure the work is done correctly. No, thank you Semper Fi lady said it was no big deal and said she recalled the conversation with me that she offered the morning appt which is a complete lie. She was very adamant that this happened. RED FLAG!! I was only given the friday afternoon appt only. I had originally scheduled for tues morning appt, my day off, but we decided for the friday afternoon, so I called back and rescheduled. I had my wife get off early today so she can be there for the afternoon appt. We both work so why would we schedule for a morning appt? Then, I asked about the estimate and she said, as i mentioned before, it was $110 and then any further work would be additional. Im sorry, but this was the first time I asked and she adamantly states that the estimate conversation happened when I first called. I don't trust this company one bit if any disagreements were to happen. I canceled the appt. Maybe another local electrican is more honest. Semper Fi needs to reevaluate their moral and honesty code read more

So I tried to install a light fixture by myself. Mistake. I called Semper Fi Electric who was at the house within a couple of days, installed the fixture with no fuss and it looks great! Semper Fi was called because we had a critical electrical problem in our kitchen lighting. (We were in the dark!). We left a message in the evening and received the return call the very next morning. The office was understanding, we explained the situation and Semper Fi made adjustments to their schedule to accommodate us the same day. That's really prompt and courteous service. A+ all around! My wife and I just purchased our first home a few months ago and we have had quite a few different people come through to do work for us. Tom and his team are hands down some of the best. They are professional, personable, timely, responsive, and very affordable. I can't say enough good things.Today is the second time in the last month I am using them for some projects I needed done around the house. The first was installing some recessed lighting in the kitchen which ended up looking amazing. Tom took the time to walk us through the best layout for the lights, the different kinds of bulbs we could and should use with the new lighting, and still managed to finish the whole project in a few hours. The second was running cable to a room that didn't have it and some light switch work in a few other rooms that was giving me some trouble. This was done by their other electrician John who is just as nice and considerate as Tom on top of completing the work just as quickly. I kept in touch with Arlene throughout the process who was very transparent and proactive about setting up all the appointments and going over pricing with me through email.They are going to be my go to for this kind of work going forward.
