Matt and his exceptional crew did an amazing job of installing a new air conditioning unit in my office. Our air compressor blew up last week and we suffered working on our patients last week. Semper Fi Air gets five stars because they are punctual, honest, and did I mention HONEST?! Matt was extremely helpful in explaining everything I asked about. He laid out all my options INCLUDING the cheapest one which is something the other guys I had called failed to do. I wound up spending about $500 instead of the $12,000+ the other (top rated) company recommended. I learned a lot from this A/C service experience, most importantly, the majority of the companies seem to want to sell you the brand new system and usually a bigger system than you need. Semper Fi Air was able to come out earlier than any other company I received quotes from to test and fix a leak in a very old AC unit. Matt was able to handle a curve ball when it turned out the poor design of the unit meant he had to find a work-around to be able to properly get the sealant into the system and repair the leak. Leak diagnosed, fixed in a timely manner, all for a very good price. He even replaced two worthless old valve caps with new contractor-only locking caps to prevent tampering. Last night as we hit record temperatures, our air conditioner died. I looked on Yelp and noticed that this company not only had 5-star reviews, but that they were still working at 9:15 in the evening. I called, they gave me a window of 11am-1pm for the next morning, and promised to call before coming so we wouldn't be sitting around waiting. Matt called, as promised, and he was here at 11:15. He was pulling away an hour later -- the air works like a charm! Matt is knowledgeable, professional, and great about explaining what he's doing and why. Matt completed a quick, simple installation of a pretty large system. It involved a 36000 btu unit with wall mounts on three different rooms. Him and his crew were in, and out in about two days at a cost that was extremely reasonable. I took care not to make much of a mess and cleaned up everything that might have been caused by him. We were very disappointed with the service we received from Bill after our unit was installed. We purchased a new unit and he assured us it was large enough capacity to cool our home. We are now full time residents in AZ and the air conditioner is not keeping up, today it was 92 inside our home. We contacted Bill and he said someone will be out, which is the 2nd time. Just like everyone said before, I can't say enough good things about our experience with Matt. Our A/C died suddenly and we were desperate to get it fixed as we have a baby in the house, called Matt and he said he can make it by 9PM. We asked if he can make it sooner and he tried his best and was there 30 minutes early. After troubleshooting the problem for a few minutes he found the root cause and got things up & running. The thing that stands out is his honesty, this is a person that you want to do business with and recommend to others. Hi, our main heater vent started blowing out insulation thanksgiving morning. Semper Fi responded quickly and sent their foreman,Juan, to check it out. He was able to go under the house,( we r on a raised foundation,) and saw that a rat had chewed thru the insulation and a vent was disconnected. He took pictures and showed me what it looked like. He fixed the insulation and reattached the vent. We ate very grateful for his prompt service; energy and expertise. He explained each step of the process and cleaned everything up. I have been saved by Semper fi air three times during heatwaves. We temporarily moved into this house for six months while our house was being built with our extensive wine collection and no wine fridge. Of course when the temps neared 100 the old girl blew up. I called the owner Matt and he was at our house working 10 minutes later (during his dinner of course). He got the old girl going again and stayed another 30 minutes checking all the other systems. He did not pressure us to buy a new system but was honest about her potential life span. Wine saved!!!! Second save was when I found water dripping through the drywall ceiling one week before we were to list the house for sale. Once again Matt to the rescue! 15 minutes later he crawled out of our attic with our condensation line unplugged, leak fixed and we were arguing who was going to clean up the water and attic droppings. He won and broke out his shop vac. Both bills were so affordable that we pushed extra money back and forth until I gave up. I am SO GLAD I called this guy. I found him on Yelp and chose him based on the reviews, and once again, fellow Yelpers have not let me down. I had a condo which had many AC issues pointed out by the home inspector. I needed to address the issues in order to close escrow. The home warranty company would not address the issues since the AC was operational. Their repair person wanted to charge me what sounded like a ridiculous amount, so I looked on Yelp. He quickly located the problem as a broken blower motor and also identified a potentially dangerous burnt out pigtail cord. He obtained the part the next day and installed it. First off this is a loooong over due review. Matt is amazing! My heat went out last year during the holidays on a Saturday evening and Matt came out and fixed it on Sunday! I thought I was doomed to another 60 degree night in the house until someone could come out on Monday. We had two wall furnaces installed and, aside from being old units from the 80s , the metal gas pipes were so corroded we were afraid to turn them on.
