Last week we purchased a brand new 2025 KIA carnival and worked with Johnny as our salesman. I walked into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and he came through with the vehicle of our choice. He was patient the entire time as our three month old daughter was extremely colicky that morning and constantly reassured me that she was not a problem at all. Fast forward we had our vehicle delivered to us and Johnny took our trade back for us. We accidentally left our daughter's iPad in our old vehicle and he still went out of his way to return it 45 minutes BACK to us instead of us having to drive back out to the dealership. If that isn't a testament of being trustworthy then idk what else could convince you. I also wanted to put a shout out to the sales manager Justin. Even on his days off from work he has bent over backwards to help our family out. Any questions we've had he's gotten back to us promptly. Communication was effective and clear and we got to be involved in the buying process 100%. This dealership clearly knows what they're doing when it comes to their customers and when it's time for my husband to get a new car this will be our first stop! Thank you KIA Selma sales team!

***Updated*** As you can see, a response was posted by this business. You can clearly see their lack of ownership of their mistakes. To clarify, my wife was running 5 to 10 minutes late, so she was being polite and called to let the dealership know this, when she found out there was no appointment, however, by the time the phone conversation ended, SHE WAS IN SELMA!!!! I will admit that I did have the incorrect email for Mr. Nelson, oops my bad, but like the other two individuals, I highly doubt that I would have received a response from Mr. Nelson. Please note that the response from the business also failed to address the fact that Tina Salaza and Joey Williams failed to reply to my inquiry as to why we had to reschedule the appointment. Clearly there are images that confirmed my appointment. Oh, and I will add that the service appointment wasn't great, my wife had concerns about the MPG she is actually receiving vs what was advertised on the vehicle, as well as an air condition concern, and their response was to wait and see if it gets better. They are truly incompetent!!!!! **Original Review** Caution: The service department lacks regard for customer time. Despite scheduling a service to be done on 4/19/23, my pregnant wife traveled from Tulare to Selma only to discover on the day of the service that there was no record of our appointment. On 4/6/23, I reached out to Tina Salazar - the person who confirmed the appointment, Joey Williams - the service manager, and Dwight Nelson - the owner but received no response from any of them. This has prompted me to seek services from a different dealership, and I suggest you do the same. See the attachments for proof of their poor customer service!

I hope this helps with those who are looking to purchase a Kia. I purchased a Kia K5-GT Line this year, March 2024. My wife and I loved the service and mostly everything done online. The vehicle pick-up went smoothly. Now, approximately 6 months later I had to take it into service due to a 3-foot section of exterior trim flying off of the car and is missing. They took pictures and said it would need to be approved by warranty department. I waited for 3 weeks until having to call several times to get status. I was informed my claim would be escalated. I called back today and found out nothing other than still waiting for warranty. Just so I could know what cost we were looking at if I chose to repair it myself, I had parts give me a price and the gentleman told me around $300+ but could give a little off. And, he said it was on back order that could be months or even a year. This comes from a dealership that runs constant advertisements about their "20 year, 200k Warranty!" Well after purchasing this vehicle for around $35k and it only has 3500 miles on it...I will not recommend this dealership or Kia brand to my friend or acquaintances. In the long scheme of things, I know this means very little but if it helps one person, I feel better for writing this! Worked in customer service all my like and never have felt so disgusted. Customer not always right but have some courtesy follow-up guidelines in place for people spending on your business.
