Just got my car diagnosed and repaired at A&M and just found my new mechanic…read more A&M was a referral from R+R down the street cuz they don't work on BMW's. Drove over to A&M and met Armando the owner. After chatting with him a few minutes I felt comfortable with his experience and his expertise based on how familiar he was with the common issues I was facing and advised on the things to look out for with a 20+ year old car. I came in for CEL code for a vacuum leak and couldn't figure it out based on visual inspection. Armando planned to run a smoke test to get to the root of the leak and found exactly where it was coming from. He was able to get it repaired the same day and when I picked up he walked me through some of parts I should consider replacing while my car was on the lift so I can see the condition. Overall a great experience and I'm thankful to have found an honest mechanic won't be taking my BMW anywhere else. Diagnostic $165 (best price in town) + parts and labor. He also installed the plastic cover for under my engine that I had bought at no charge.
