They are STAR Certified. I needed a smog for an overdue registration ASAP. I called a couple places and either they didn't answer or their equipment for my vehicle year was down :( These guys answered their phone right away, gave me the price for my vehicle and when I asked the best time to come so I didn't have to wait, they said, "Well, just come right now!" I arrived, they directed me to pull around to the other side and told me it'd be about 15 minutes and I could wait in their office. Everything about the experience was cordial and professional and I felt at ease, which says a lot because I'm usually pretty nervous when it comes to any work that needs to be done automotive-wise. It did take the stated 15 minutes and they provided me a copy of my passing certificate in case I had any issues at the DMV. $1 fee if you want to pay with card, which they are upfront about. We have a big family with multiple cars and was searching for a reliable and trustworthy smog station/repair shop where we can bring our cars for all future smog or repair needs. Brought my mom's car last month and Kevin made a positive experience for us. So we've decided last week to bring 2 more cars that are due for smog and 1 that needed some repair. Sam was the one who took care of us. Sam and his team were very professional and kept us updated with everything the cars needed. Charged us fairly and even honored the yelp discount. I took my car in for a Smog. I was probably there for a total of 15 minutes. Everyone was nice, professional, and fast. They take cash or card ($1 more). I also used the $20 off Yelp offer for checking in and paid a total of $40. Plus, they were open on Labor Day. I will definitely be back! read more

DO NOT COME HERE! BEWARE!!!! I took my car here for a smog that didn't pass, they kept his car for 3 MONTHS every week was promised that we could pick it up soon but NOTHING. Eventually we just showed up and when i went in and got my car literally everything was missing. THEY STOLE MY RADIO, MY TOOLS I HAD IN MY TRUNK AND OTHER THINGS I HAD IN MY CAR. We never got my stuff back and the owner completely denied everything. SCUMBAGS. Not very welcoming. Showed the coupon they posted online that was $22 dollars off a smog and it was supposed to be 60 so it should've been 38 plus a dollar for using card and i was charged 49. I unknowingly mucked up a brake job and was paying the price when I passed through Selma on Thanksgiving day. I just happened upon this shop on my way to the Autozone to mess things up further. I opted for this shop instead of more DIYing and I'm glad I did. They were busy, but the mechanic took me in right away. I explained the problem and he went to work. They didn't have the part I needed in stock, but thankfully the parts store across the street was also open so I ran there. By the time I got back, he had long since finished removing the damaged piece and then installed the drum brake assembly with the new part in no time at all. I wish I could remember the technician's name. He came in clutch and didn't charge much. I made it home just in time for our family feast. Happy Thanksgiving! read more

Good place to get in and get out for smog check. Also bought a used tire for my wifes car awhile back when i just needed to get something on the rim for a short period, they gave it to me for super cheap, mounted and all. For the selma area, its a good establishment. read more
