They have seats where I can relax and wait. Everyone that knows me knows I've got about 10 Apple devices and I've purchased my daughter so many such as her watch and iPad, keyboard and pen. The location is stunning, up a staircase that looks down a level to the main floor. There are display tables on both sides after one ascends the steps. It doesn't have the look of a store, being completely open. My visit was to purchase a new Apple Watch. But I left without one because of the poor service. Although the store wasn't busy, the employee that approached was extremely rude. Before I could explain my purchase need he summarily dismissed my presence and walked away. Needless to say I didn't pursue help from anyone else. I left, determined to never purchase or visit the store again. I've had terrific service at the Downtown Brooklyn & Williamsburg Stores. I've also had great service at the 5th Avenue & the 14th Street Store, near the High Line & Chelsea Market. I've purchased iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches or MacBooks at all the above stores from friendly, helpful personal. With all those options available I certainly don't need the Grand Central Store.

If its too good to be true, its because it is! My cousins and I were looking for ipod touches and the guy was selling them from $299 (retail $399). We were waiting to pay for them and waiting for the units to come in when the salesperson was trying to sell us other stuff we didn't need. Long story short, we were sticking to our guns with buying only what we needed and adter 45 minutes, they guy puts the ipods away and say that we don't deserve the ipods and that would rather sell them to a deserving customer who buys more items. More like customers who get suckered by them! I just looked up reviews on the store just now and saw countless negative reviews on how they got ripped off. I'm just glad my cousins and I didn't become victims! Be warned!

They repeatedly cut me off and never let me finish explaining what I needed. Instead of trying to help, they came across like bullies, talking over me and making it clear they didn't care. The treatment was bad enough that I've decided to switch to Verizon. I never expected to walk out feeling bullied at a phone store, but this location made that impression loud and clear. OMG, then you learn the gimmick.....you must use only their ink cartridges! You must subscribe to their ink program. Another brand will fail to work. It's only $2.99/ mo for me. But they monitor your usage, and decide when to send you a fresh ink cartridge. Is it cheaper in the long run? I'm thinking.....

Our team were trained in sales and servicing these cool printers and I enjoyed every job I got to print on them! The line we used was the HP Designjet and we printed schematics, maps, and more. The printing media ranged from matte to glossy paper, backlit film, vinyl, and even canvas. Canvas media is very cool because you can scan in nearly any sized piece of art, print it on the Designjet canvas and use paintbrushes dipped in various paints and mediums to create a unique piece of relatively inexpensive artwork! The HP Designjet HD scanner was another favorite piece of equipment here! This gem has a scan-copy-print system that is extremely fast! Personally, I have an HP Deskjet 970cxi printer that you just cannot kill! It's still working decades after I bought it! At ten pages per minute, it's certainly not the speediest printer; however, it's been a real workhorse! Since it is discontinued, I'll pitch it when my last ink cartridges run out. Thanks Hewlett Packard for providing a wide range of printing, scanning, and computing solutions!
