When I drove up to the facility it looks spectacular from the hwy 29. My code worked, I found my unit with the green tag just as the representative advised me. The unit was super clean , the climate control hallway was clean the facility is well lit at night! My move her was just perfect! Not undercover, but that was OK - the place was clean and secure. We took a month-to-month lease and paid by credit card. So today I get a notice that my monthly rate will increase to $111/month! Ouch! Almost a 100% increase - and for what? I called and attempted to talk with one of their desk clerks. She barely spoke english, had a whole lot of background noise, merely repeated (badly) the notice I got in the mail. No clue about "Why?"

Requested to stop auto pay and was told that it has been cancelled and the next morning I was notified that CubeSmart attempted to take $50 from my bank account . For what I'm unsure because my unit doesn't even cost $50 so why would they be trying to take $50 from my bank? I'm growing concerned about my decision to store here. Had to notify my bank to get new account number and cards due to the fraudulent attempt to collect $50 from my account that I did not authorize. Smh...attempted to get an answer through customer support as they requested that I reach out to them for a resolve, when I tried they continued to reply that they were unable to locate an account for me although I provided them with my email, name, and a screen shot of my unit details. Again deflection and highly unprofessional. Also I still do not have an answer as to why they tried to charge my bank fraudulently for $50. I will never again enroll in auto pay with any business that lack integrity.
