We have had Select Services take care of our trees for about twelve years now. James, the arborist, always comes out and gives a free estimate for services. He is very knowledgeable and always very friendly. On the day our most recent service was rendered, James came by and introduced the crew before they started. They trimmed ten palm trees, a mature Palo Verde and three mature twisted Acacias. The crew was at our house all day and did an impeccable job of cleanup upon completion. Select Services has supplied our HOA's tree trimming, tree & plant health services and pre-emergent herbicide treatments since 2016. I cannot give the company and especially James Knieriem, Arborist, and Nicole better grades for their excellent expertise and customer service. Most of our original trees had not been professionally pruned when James took over our property - they were in sad shape. We had just replaced a number of dead and dying trees at our entrances with large, Red Push Pistache trees and wanted to protect our investment in the trees by ensuring they were properly cared for. James set about curing many cultural problems with the trees original to our property as well as our new trees. Today, all of the trees on our property are in good shape and flourishing. The service we received from Arborscape was incredible. The company sent out a certified arborist to discuss our tree issues. He was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining what pruning and plant health care programs would be best for our yard. The crew that trimmed our trees was very professional. They made sure not to damage any other landscaping and cleaned up after they were done. Our yard was cleaner after they left than it was when they arrived. I have a rental property that had a big elm tree that had died from renter's neglect taken out of the front yard. Fitu from Select Services came over and advised me the tree could not be saved. I was quoted a very good price for the tree removal as well as pruning on another big treein the back yard of the same property. The crew arrived timely as promised and had finished the job within 1.5 hours! They left the driveway and the neighbors driveway clean as a whistle. Very professional job. Afterwards, the next crew arrived to remove the stump and they were done within 1 hour and left the front yard in perfect shape! I highly recommend this company. I've used them multiple times since and most recently I had a day scheduled that I had to keep changing the time due to some personal things going on and they worked with me without giving me a hard time about changing the time and understood that things just happen! read more

Worst tree service I have ever used. I hired them to thin out a huge weeping willow in my front yard. Instead of thinning it out they turned into a fucking lollipop. No shade this summer in the front yard! Loved this tree as it take at least a year or more for it to recover. These guys suck! read more

We needed a pest control company to get rid of some nasty scorpions lurking in our yard and plotting to enter our house - Select Services to the rescue! NIcole in the office was super - explained what options we had for pest control, and then gave me a great price! They are also really organized, and sent me an e-mail with the info about our upcoming service visit, including a picture and the name of the service tech who would be coming to our door - what a great idea, especially these days when you can't be sure who is coming up to your house. Jeff was our service tech, and he was really excellent! He explained what he would do, was agreeable to everything I asked for in terms of covering our entire property to get at those critters, and spent a long time actually going after them, not just in and out! Very disappointed! We set up an appointment to spray and check for rodents in the attic at our new home. They showed up 2 hrs late, when I ask the technician to check the attic his response was, we don't do attics and I can tell for sure that there is nothing up there because of the heat. When I signed the work order it said in big letters CHECK ATTIC FOR RODENTS so my husband fallowed him outside and asked him to please check the attic and he was very bugged. He also said that the spray was natural and safe for kids and pets. And when I asked him if there was a reason why he didn't spray the pantry his response was, we usually don't do pantries because the chemicals can be dangerous. Had a mishap with the original appointment date but when they came, they did a great job! My 80 year old dad was going to cut down a pine tree himself and I told him it was a bad idea. I got my very reasonable estimate and had them come out to do the job. After all the care they put in to removing the tree, my dad finally agreed that it was a good idea we had professionals cut down the tree. (like making sure the power line is out of the way, the tree doesn't fall into the neighbor's yard/roof, etc). I give this company a thumbs up! Great staff. Thank you! read more

I moved to LV 3 years ago from Chicago. My greatest fear was the bugs and spiders here! I was referred to Select Services by a neighbor. The house I bought was in very good shape re bugs, but I was bit by a Wolf spider (outside), on my second day here! From day 1, Nicole from Select took care of all my needs. Before starting with them, I compared prices and thought that they were very reasonable! Initially, I would see those large cockroaches outdoors and in my garage! Within 2 months of using their services, I stopped seeing ANY bugs at all outdoors and NEVER have seen any type of bug inside my house! Jeff is the technician that comes to my home! He does the normal spraying and baiting, but he also goes that extra mile and looks for spider webs! I have never even seen a spider outdoors (and I'm pruning my roses a lot) and have a lot of schrubery! The most I have ever seen was ONE cricket in my garage in 3 years....now, not even a cricket!!! Jeff is the BEST!!!! He is very professional and I feel like I am in good hands when he takes care of my home! They are also very reliable. Someone calls from the office, the day before (to remind me of service the next day); then Jeff calls me to let me know that he will be there within 1/2 hour (because he knows I have two small dogs)! Lastly, they make sure that whatever chemicals they are using don't harm my dogs! I can't compare them with other companies here (because they are the only one I've ever used), but why bother-they are PERFECT!!! I did not receive any discount to write this review; actually, they never asked me for a review-I felt bad that I waited 3 years to write one!
