We had two Palm trees, both close to the side of the home with one already touching and damaging our roof. The third tree was a super tall eucalyptus tree planted right at the corner of a block fence wall that was shared with our neighbor, and its roots were the reason the fence walls work cracking and falling apart. Quan was so quick to respond and we were able to get an appointment the next day for him to look at our property while we were out of town and get an estimate for everything. We got quotes from three other companies, and Juan's quote was the most reasonable imo. We were going to be out of town on the day the work was going to be scheduled, but Juan kept in touch consistently and us making payment for the job being done was also handled very professionally. Throughout the day Juan was sending me texts and pictures of what was being done and what their next steps were going to be. I would definitely recommend him to anybody and we will be using him again for any projects that come up next!

The team was incredibly professional and arrived fully equipped for the job. Because their pricing was so competitive, I was actually able to negotiate a deal to remove three additional trees in my yard during the same visit. They handled the stump grinding (6-8 inches below grade) and cleaned up all the debris afterward, leaving the yard clean. The work was quick, efficient, and very high quality. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree services.

Ezra came out and was very informative and helped me understand what he was doing and educated me on how to maintain the desired look and health of our trees. I contacted this company through Yelp to remove a single palm tree from my front yard. The owner,…read moreEzra, messaged me quickly with a quote that seemed reasonable. I asked for a copy of his WC insurance informantion and he provided that promptly. He wanted my address which I sent to him and said that the soonest he would be able to come by would be the following day. He went on to say that I would hear from another individual to schedule the job. After my text messages with him I discussed with my wife as we had previously agreed to remove the tree. When I told her that we were on for having it removed, she decided that she wanted to wait. Ok, I said. I figured I would hear from the scheduler and tell them the job was off. We live in a gated community and the next morning, around 9am, I receive a notification that a contractor had entered the community for our house. We were supposed to have another contractor there that day so I thought it was them. I was in my garage and my wife comes out to and says there's a big truck pulling into the driveway. The other contractor doesn't have a big truck, so something was not right. I opened the garage and parked in the driveway is the crew from Red Gator! I was pretty suprised to see them since I never actually scheduled with them. The main guy greets meet and says they are here to do the job. My response was that we had changed our mind and that I had never scheduled with them. The first thing he asks is "why?". I tell him my wife wanted to wait on the job even though I shouldn't have to provide a response to that question. His next statement is, "well, that's going to be problem. We better call Ezra". I have to be honest, at that point I'm feeling pretty wierd about the whole thing. The driver of the truck is shooting me nasty looks and the guy I'm speaking with, although very polite, seems pretty intent on cutting down the tree. I caved and said "ok, go ahead and cut it down". I asked them NOT to stump grind it so they adjusted the price accordingly. To be fair, the person I was speaking with was also the guy who did the actual cutting. He was efficient and there weren't any issues with the job, per se. When they were done, he rang my doorbell and we inspected the job. I paid them through Zelle and they left. I contacted the owner, Ezra, and conveyed the information to him above. He issued an apology for the scheduler not reaching out to me and said that they had arrived at my doorstep by mistake. I'm not sure how truthful that is but he did offer to cut the bill in half. I did not accept the offer. To be honest, the issue here isn't the money or the tree. It's the interactions between his crew and myself. I would not recommend them.

This impressed…read moreme because I contacted 5 different companies and only Rock N Block and one other one reached out to me in a timely manner. My backyard had never been done. It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

He immediately understood what we were trying to achieve and even drew out the concept right there on the spot. Other companies took a day or even several days to get back to us, and only AFTER we followed up. Not Christian. His responsiveness and promptness was the reason we went with them. From beginning to end, Christian went above and beyond. As first-time homeowners, it was incredibly refreshing to work with a contractor who was genuinely invested in making sure we were happy. We felt like our project was in good hands and that we were getting real value for our money. Once HOA approval came through, the entire project was completed in less than a week -- only four days actually, which was impressive. Their crew was professional, fast, and detailed. Even with the quick turnaround, we didn't find any issues with the final results. Thank you Christian!!!
