Instead, what…read moreunfolded was a nearly 2 hour long inspection of my home where the inspector, Blain pointed out everything that could possibly be wrong with my home - from moisture in the basement to mold in my insulation. The visit quickly shifted from pest solutions into selling all kinds of services that Orkin has nothing to do with. I repeatedly informed the inspector that I had other companies out, was already addressing these unrelated issues, and really wanted the termite bait station quote. The inspection ended with Blain in my attic telling me I had mold in my insulation and needed the attic to be entirely gutted and reinsulated - which of course they would do. Fast forward, two weeks have gone by and I have received no word or quote from Blain - my paranoia drives me to call out an actual mold remediation company who swiftly inspects the attic and tells me there's absolutely no mold. Eventually, I received a $16k quote to reinsulate my entire attic ... not due to mold - now quoting MICE which was absolutely never discussed. Not only that - no quote for termite bait stations, nor any of the 5 other things discussed, was ever provided. I felt strongly that Orkin was more focused scaring me with problems throughout my home and upselling me on tertiary Services than they were on booking relevant pest related solutions. I was ready to sign up for service, but after this experience - no freaking way. Complete waste of time and a lot of lost sleep for nothing.

This is one of the now extremely rare honest, fair and knowledgeable companies that really care about what the do. They really want to help you. Always very responsive; answered every time I called except for once, so I left a voicemail. I had a response within 2 hours that same day. Everyone I spoke with could not have been more friendly and understanding. Rick, one of the owners (I believe) spent close to an hour of total time over 3 days answering my questions with in depth information and advice on how to identify my issue and potentially manage it myself. It was clear that Rick really knows his stuff when it comes to bugs. I don't though, so I didn't feel confident identifying what I saw, even with his vivid descriptions. The price he quoted me for treatment was specific to my situation and was by far the fairest price I had heard to that point after speaking with 3 other companies. And due to my ambiguity bordering on paranoia, I finally decided to schedule a treatment, mostly for peace of mind. Rick had already mentioned previously that they were full for the rest of the week, but was able to find a time to squeeze me in the next day! The guy who came out (Larry?) was just as friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the bugs as carpet beetles, and explained that what I found was a small infestation that I could probably manage myself. At no point did anyone insist on treatment or make me feel like it was my only option, despite my many requests for their profession opinion. (Larry?) made sure to update me on their availability around this holiday season and told me I could simply call back if I noticed any more problems. They didn't charge me a dime for coming out and consulting, or for all the information Rick provided over the phone. From now on, if I hear anyone in my life mention a bug problem, this is the company I will recommend.

This definitely made it easy to talk to him and made the service feel personal. I had originally called because I woke up to my cat eating a mouse! I freaked out and called Scherzinger. They were prompt in their response and their pricing was super reasonable!! Barack came out to my home and did a thorough inspection. He didn't find any evidence of nesting mice (thank goodness!) , but did find areas of where it could have entered. He also handled my kitchen ant problem! I was able to take his recommendations for improvements - filling gaps in my crawl space and trimming my tree in the front yard - and succeeded in preventing more from entering my home. For the first few years of service, they were great and consistent. I would NOT recommend this company if you are wanting to start a new service. The last time someone came to my property to check the bait traps was in March 2023, I paid for service renewal after for 2024, and no one checked or rebated the traps in 2024. I called to have someone come out and check the traps and to reinstate my service and it has been a complete runaround. Technicians have come out to my property two times over the past couple of weeks, but didn't rebait the traps because of the payment issue. I paid for a service that was never rendered in 2024 and consequentially 2025. They initially tried to get me to pay for a complete new install even though the bait traps are still installed, and I already paid for service renewal. When I provided evidence of the payment I retrieved the check number and the date it was cashed by OPC/Ace) with no service they said someone from central offices would give me a call. I have called this place multiple times over several weeks, the offices that handle payments do not call back. I have received no further communication when I was told the latest I would hear back was by the end of last week. So much of my time has been wasted calling this place with resolution. Additionally I tried to set up an online account- I have the same account number as someone in another city and I can log in and see their info! I let the company know and they were able to get me to log into my actual account, but I can still log into this other person's account and I want my info to be removed from the other account.

I have used them for over 10 years but a recent experience made me cancel all services with them. I…read morereceived a voice message that they were coming out to do an inspection. They never said what type so I assumed it was my regular pest service. The technician was outside my house for about 10 minutes. Usually I get an email and text telling they are done along with the report. This time nothing. So I called and asked for the report to be emailed to me. When my husband and I read the report we were surprised to see notations that we had unexplained noises in our walls and attic especially at night and animal droppings in closets and cupboards. This man NEVER came into our house and we have cats so if we had mice etc. we would know. Please do not use them. The technician just filed a report and made up whatever he wanted. I should add that when I called back asking why this report was so incorrect I was told first he probably just hit the wrong keys. Seriously? Then was told someone from the company would contact me. That didn't happen. Oh and I still need to pay the bill for the 10 minute exterior inspection.

We were not given any other options. We figured they were a national company so we went with it. Wish we hadn't. They could've just treated the ants and that was all, even though they didn't say it. In June, our credit card on file expired. We called and got the new card added to the file. Every month since then, we've gotten a bill because they can't charge our card. I've never worked with such an incompetent company. I wish we'd have checked the reviews before using them.
