We were in a pickle. A birthday party was planned for Sunday, Oct. 8 for our one year old grand…read morenephew. Many of us came from across the country to celebrate this little guy's birthday. And at least 30 more people, including small children, were coming as well. When we arrived at the house late Friday afternoon we gasped. Swarming all around the front porch were many, many wasps! And this little guy came out of the front door with his mom to greet us, wearing the sweetest smile on his face. I don't believe his mother was fully aware of the dangerous situation at hand and had been treating the area with a wasp spray. Based on the sheer number of wasps that were buzzing around, this definitely wasn't working. I am highly allergic to these wasps having been attacked a few times and knew the potential consequences if these wasps were disturbed. And with so many people coming to the party - this was a real probability. On Saturday morning a desperate call was made to Terminex in Erlanger. My daughter, a nurse explained the situation to David Young at Terminex who took the call. He made a Herculean effort to find someone to treat the property. Within one hour Michael Smyth showed up and worked for hours to methodically eradicate the nests that were around the property. He did a fantastic job and was most professional! The price that David quoted on the phone prior to the servicing was the actual price that was charged. We cannot thank these two men enough for what they did to prevent this celebration from turning into a serious life threatening situation for the many attendees. Thank you David and Michael! And thank you Terminex!

I eventually had to trap the racoons myself as their cage still sits closed on top of my roof without anything done to resolve the problem. I then requested a refund or a portion to be refunded due to the lack of service provided and was denied without reason.

I live in Cincinnati…read more One of the best companies I have ever dealt with, from cell phone corporations with specific customer service departments to personal mom & pop shops. This is one of the now extremely rare honest, fair and knowledgeable companies that really care about what the do. They really want to help you. Always very responsive; answered every time I called except for once, so I left a voicemail. I had a response within 2 hours that same day. Everyone I spoke with could not have been more friendly and understanding. Rick, one of the owners (I believe) spent close to an hour of total time over 3 days answering my questions with in depth information and advice on how to identify my issue and potentially manage it myself. It was clear that Rick really knows his stuff when it comes to bugs. I don't though, so I didn't feel confident identifying what I saw, even with his vivid descriptions. The price he quoted me for treatment was specific to my situation and was by far the fairest price I had heard to that point after speaking with 3 other companies. And due to my ambiguity bordering on paranoia, I finally decided to schedule a treatment, mostly for peace of mind. Rick had already mentioned previously that they were full for the rest of the week, but was able to find a time to squeeze me in the next day! The guy who came out (Larry?) was just as friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the bugs as carpet beetles, and explained that what I found was a small infestation that I could probably manage myself. At no point did anyone insist on treatment or make me feel like it was my only option, despite my many requests for their profession opinion. (Larry?) made sure to update me on their availability around this holiday season and told me I could simply call back if I noticed any more problems. They didn't charge me a dime for coming out and consulting, or for all the information Rick provided over the phone. From now on, if I hear anyone in my life mention a bug problem, this is the company I will recommend.
