It was great having such a responsive team standing by to take care of a few tiny minor glitches that were done quickly and perfectly. For the home, having rented over a dozen homes in the LA area...and a good share elsewhere, this lovely home has become our absolute favorite. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 teens), providing all of us with enough room to have our own space, and spacious enough in common areas to enjoy watching a movie, playing board games, and having dinners. The space was light and bright, really well-furnished, and the gorgeous walk-in closet made me want one at home. We fell in love with this part of town, strolling Robertson and Melrose were a breeze. Great restaurants, shopping, everything was pretty fabulous. Though the kitchen was not as well-stocked as other rentals, that was such a minor point. All in all, this was a great 2 weeks and we're eager to return to West Hollywood.

We were looking for a unique venue for our November wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors…read moreand a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

In addition to the popsicle hotline, they have unlimited snacks, soft serve (chocolate coconut and vanilla on our stay - the coconut was a wonderful surprise), and Coke remix. Good continental breakfast included. They even offered us more snacks for the road when we came back to collect our bags. The pool is small, but gets the job done - and open 24/7 (while observing quiet hours). Hollywood Boulevard is in walking distance and it's a short ride/drive to Universal Studios and other local attractions.

So we did just that to celebrate my bf's birthday. Every staff member that I interacted with from the time of booking to the time of checkout went above and beyond with customer service. It's rare to feel such warm service these days and they provided just that. The hotel itself is rated a 3 star hotel so don't come expecting anything super fancy. It's an old hotel with very simple rooms. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, you have to slam your door to get it to latch, and you can hear your neighbors. But overall the room was comfortable and just what we needed for a place to lay our heads after a fun night at the Magic Castle. There are lots of fun complimentary amenities that make the hotel feel geared toward children, as well as a 24 hour heated pool. They offer self serve soft serve, one of the massive soda machines with tons of flavors, a popsicle hotline by the pool, snacks and full-size candy bars, and a morning espresso machine. There is a tightly-squeezed parking garage under the hotel and they'll drive you up the short hill to and from the Magic Castle if you need it. Overall the helpful staff and the simplicity of visiting the Magic Castle made this a good stay for us, even as LA locals.

We were there for an event at the Convention Center and walked there every day. Parking at the Madison was relatively convenient and, most importantly, super secure (gated, garaged). How the Vacation Living went above and beyond: 1. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and adding a night to our reservation was super easy and cheerfully accommodated. 2. I accidentally left some clothes in the unit, and the housekeeper found them, contacted Vacation Living, and they were shipped to my home. :)

This place is a horrible car rental location. When I returned the car, they claimed it smelled like…read moresmoke, even though I never smoked in it. They told me to have it professionally cleaned, so I paid for a full interior detail. After I brought it back, they inspected the vehicle, told me everything was fine, and said I would only be charged a late fee because I was about three hours late--not an additional full day's rental. The next day, they completely changed their story. They charged me for an extra full day of rental anyway and claimed the car still smelled like smoke. That directly contradicted what they told me after inspecting it. It feels like they were just looking for a reason to charge me more. I paid for a professional detail to address their concern, relied on what they told me, and then they went back on their word. Very disappointing experience, and I would not rent from this location again.
