We were looking for a unique venue for our November wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too! read more

I cannot say enough about the Enchanted Manor. When my fiancée and I were looking for a place to wed, we were looking for a place that would communicate intimacy yet wonder in a very natural, outdoor setting. The Enchanted Manor is an incredible place, beautifully decorated and designed with a level of creativity that sets it apart from any other place we considered. The setting makes it easy to forget the urban setting of Los Angeles. Nearly every friend and family member posed the same question. "Where did you find this place?" The theme is consistent. The doll house is a child's paradise. The honeymoon suite is amazing, and this only describes the property during the day. When the sun sets and the lights rise, the place transforms to a new level of beauty. It was a pleasure to work with Georgia who was always easily accessible during the entire process. She expressed genuine care and concern, patiently answering our questions to our satisfaction. She provided referrals for the various services we needed to help make our day special. Marina, our wedding coordinator, is incredibly talented and has an eye for beauty. Her staff was hard working and professional. Frank, our videographer, has a passion that shows in his work. My wife and I cannot watch our wedding video enough. Music, narration, drone footage and direction exceeded our highest expectation. If you want a memory that lasts. The Enchanted Manor is a must. If you are going to have a wedding there and any event, prepare a truck to take the garbage since the owner is not in charge of that, she should take care of the garbage and since she is the one doing business anyway and on top of that she calls her clients liars she is very unprofessional I do not recommend this place as it is very expensive for 5 hours which is not enough for all the activities of a wedding The owner is so rude. read more

I rented the pool through Swimply for my young daughters over Labor Day weekend and the whole experience was magical. Georgia was an amazing hostess, the backyard is straight out of a storybook. The pool was the perfect temperature and shaded from the scorching sun with relaxing waterfalls all around. A children's fairytale play house nestled in the backyard put the afternoon over the edge. The girls felt like they were in Snow White and the Seven dwarves. What a wonderful experience, can't wait to come back with grown ups and use the tiki bar at night some day! read more

Sooo I was lucky enough to have my wedding at the Enchanted Manor. Obviously it is a beautiful home on a regular day basis. However for events and obviously my wedding it could not have been more perfect. The vibe you get when you're there makes you feel like you're almost not in LA. Like a dark fairytale, the way we had decored it for the wedding. The lighting is amazing, the house's surround sound, pool lighting, the landscape, & warmth of it all put together was again so perfect. Oh and also the owner of the house is one of the nicest woman ever. She's accommodating and flexible and makes things really easy for the planning. So obviously I just wanted to take a few minutes to recommend her property, for not only weddings, but events, movie or tv filming, intimate parties, etc.. Where to begin! We only had about 6 months to find a venue for our wedding so the pressure was on! We really wanted a backyard vibe with trees where we could have our own caterer and wine/beer selection (which is very hard to find in a venue in So. Cal!) and I happened upon the Enchanted Manor on Wedding Wire. I called and Georgia, the owner said our date was available and I was so thrilled it was so we scheduled a tour. My fiancé and I met Georgia who was so sweet and we loved her home! From the wooden front doors, stone, all the trees with lights, to the flowers, to the fire pits, to the pool, it just had a warm story book feeling to it that truly is Enchanting! Georgia is such a wonderful host and person. I enjoyed getting to know her, she always made me and my family feel so welcomed. She was kind and helpful throughout the whole planning process. I planned our wedding so all the little details I would have questions about, she responded right away to my many emails and freak outs and was always available by phone too. I don't think I could have done it without all her knowledge and help! She also recommended Col's Flowers who have amazing prices on rentals so we rented everything from them and it saved us quite a bit! Marina the owner of Col's is so great too! I just had a Baptism Party at The Enchanted Manor. It was the perfect setting. So calm and serine. The waterfalls, tiki bar and plush gardens were enjoyed by all. I first was introduced to The Enchanted Manor 12 years ago when I rented it for a vacation coming from Australia. I fell in love with it then. It was my first impression of America. The place itself is very welcoming but the owner, Georgia makes you feel so at home. I stayed for one month and never wanted to leave. I swam in the saltwater pool every day and topped it off at night with an incredible jacuzzi under a canopy of stars. It is great for any occasion, weddings, birthday parties, graduations, Kids parties and of course, vacation stays. I am planning my son's first birthday there as well. I have been lucky enough to have stayed at The Enchanted Manor about a dozen times over the past few years. There is no place that is so warm, inviting, comfortable and simply so beautiful. When staying there by myself, it is quiet and peaceful sanctuary. When performing in town, I look forward to inviting any number of guests back to the Manor for an over-the-top experience of beauty (Night time is amazing) With so many places to relax and gather, its hard to "pick the best spot". With a gorgeous pool, several fire pit or outdoor fireplace areas, bar, grotto and on and on to choose from, who could? Georgia is an amazing hostess filled with warmth and generosity with both her spirit and with her time. Where do I even start? We just got married there. We stayed 3 nights, one before and one after the wedding. We checked in one day earlier just to make sure everything was running smoothly but honestly, there was no need for that. Property owner, Georgia Durante is extremely professional and that is not easy to find. She went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of. We had another hotel cancel our booking for our wedding ceremony and reception just two weeks prior to our wedding date. We were just lucky to have The Enchanted Manor pop on our google search. We went to see the property, walked through the front yard and the house and I was thinking to myself this is beautiful...this might actually work. Then we walked out to the back yard and OMG, it was breath taking! I knew that was it! The sight was so beautiful, it was unreal. You just don't expect to see that. It is not a back yard but an oasis. It makes you feel like you are in some exotic resort in far away country. The majestic tree with a treehouse nestled in it, the rock formations, the grotto pool and Jacuzzi, fire pit (actually there were two areas, the fire pit and an outside fireplace in a private patio that was like a living room outdoors. And the lightning! OMG the lightning was magical, like walking around in moonlight! (I heard rumor she invested over 30K just to get that lightning) I seriously needed a minute to get myself back together. We then sat down to discuss dates and the event we were planning to have and she heard we had only two weeks she was very generous and pulled her contacts together. So we got a caterer, chair rentals, etc. and honestly we feel we got very fair prices and VIP status after mentioning her recommendation. The best thing is that these vendors have already worked there so everyone knew what they needed to do, where to go, we did not have to stress about anything. Imagine, what a luck! Her referrals were as nice to work with as she was. Everyone pitched in and pulled it together in such a short notice. Sorry to be going on and on, but I am so jazzed about how perfect everything was. I'm still on a high. The property owner was so nice to even get us a wedding present! We definitely feel our experience was more than business transaction, but almost like friends just helping friends. Oh I forgot to mention, there is even a play house in this so called back yard! It has two beds inside, a little cooking station with stove, dishes and whatever little girls need to bake a cake. There is cable TV and kids movies to entertain them so the adults can enjoy the wedding. Oh yes, and there is a kids fire place too! (It's not real fire so no safety concerns) but seriously who would think of that? We had four kids on our wedding and they loved it! Our little niece is still talking about it. If you have kids, they will not want to leave! We received so many compliments from our guests, everybody loved it. Oh even our photographer said, "Oh Wow, you have beautiful house...." I was thinking to myself too bad it's not ours LOL. Did I mention inside the house? It is art, it's beautiful and very unique. The whole place is just so warm and inviting. Why would anyone want to stay in a hotel when they can experience something like that? My husband and I are just looking for reason to go again. It does not have to be event, it can be romantic weekend. We are hoping to have baby shower soon LOL and that would be a perfect occasion to visit this beautiful place again. If not, we will definitely go for romantic weekend just to enjoy the Jacuzzi, Pool, Fire Pit and the stunning views this property has to offer. We took a Jacuzzi after our guest left. We sat with a glass of wine on a ledge behind the waterfall and the saltwater felt so good on our skin. The water changed colors every few minutes too. It was very romantic and a great way to end a perfect day. In conclusion, this is not just a review about a property. I wish to say I regret there is not more people in world like Ms. Georgia Durante. She was very kind, giving and extremely professional making our special day such a memorable experience. She made our dream wedding possible, I know she doesn't want any credits, it's just who she is, but I want to say, "Thank you Georgia." read more

Georgia is a SUPER STAR!!!!! The first time my wife and I met with Georgia and toured The Enchanted Manor we knew we just had to get married there. Georgia is the perfect mixture of fun and professional, and it was evident that she is a pro at what she does, so we booked her then and there and it was the best decision we made! In the months leading up to the wedding, Georgia was extremely helpful and anytime we had a question, she would get back to us promptly and always had the answers. The day of the wedding she was there to make sure all of the final details were perfect and she helped make our Special Day absolutely amazing. SUZANNE'S 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION---- We had an absolutely wonderful weekend! Suzanne said it was one of the greatest experiences in her life, and she has literally travelled the world. We took her to Universal Studios, some great restaurants and even hiking but staying at The Enchanted Manor was the highlight of our weekend. It's a beautiful place surrounded by many large and wonderful trees. It's spacious and cozy and quiet. I attended a wedding at The Enchanted Manor a few weeks ago. At first I was not sure I had the right place. This beautiful home is tucked away in a pretty manicured cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood. Upon walking into the home I was impressed with the decor but was not expecting the spectacular sight of the expansive grounds! All the trees were lit to perfection. It was obvious a lot of money was spent to create the magical look of the property. The owner was very gracious, making sure all needs were met. I did not know many of the people in attendance, but the warmth of the place made it easy to mingle. The owner said her motto is, "They come as Strangers and leave as Friends". Nothing could be more true! Other than the bride and grooms in-laws bickering among themselves, a wonderful time was had by all. read more

The owner should really pay her photographer extra, they really made her backyard look GREAT. Granted it is cute for someone's backyard but still, it is nestled in just a regular neighborhood; I thought I had the wrong place! The owner Georgia is rude. She would not even let the bride have a rehearsal and only gave 2 hours for set-up with never having chance to come to coordinate prior because she would not allow! Also, the owner Georgia was showing potential clients all around DURING the wedding and one used the facilities and lets just say it was not pretty so the real guests could not use it! She yelled at children and was short with the guests. At clean up, we were scolded and told not to use HER water "it's expensive!". What a nightmare! I felt so bad for the couple :( read more

The house is beautiful with a quirky and classy vibe that set it apart from all the other venue options. The yard is expansive and sets up beautifully for the kind of casual, fun party I was looking for. Georgia was extremely helpful and accommodating and made it easy for all the vendors to get set up and sorted out.
