NO fitness center! NO laundry room! NO swimming pool here! Only positives are: NO deposit required at check in! There is a vending machine at the front desk! There is a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the rooms! There is also a dining table with two chairs in the room which is blocking the Air conditioning unit!

Paradise On Earth!…read more My family was looking for a kid/pet friendly place to stay for our Spring Break vacation get away. We Googled, and found this wonderful place. The pictures I saw were very interesting, so I showed my kids. We agreed to give this place a try, as we usually stick to hotels and motels when we visit LA. All I can say is WOW!! The place was a beautiful, tropical wonderland. It was well kept, fun and I felt like I was in a tropical island somewhere. Cheri and her daughter Regina were friendly and very helpful. They even gave my kids toys from the toy barrel they have in the office! If you have kids, travel with your pets, and are into adventure (and want something way more fun than a motel) I would give this place a try! We loved it and plan on coming back!

The staff at Vacation Living was beyond attentive and communicative. Check-in instructions were…read morecrystal clear and timely received. In addition, our host representative contacted us on the first day (via email, no text or call thankfully) to make sure everything was OK. The property in Pasadena (The Madison) was super clean and had everything we needed. The king-sized bed was more comfortable than our own, and we slept like babies. Our kids enjoyed their own TV in their room, so they didn't sleep as much. ;) Our location was perfect in Pasadena for walking. We were there for an event at the Convention Center and walked there every day. Parking at the Madison was relatively convenient and, most importantly, super secure (gated, garaged). How the Vacation Living went above and beyond: 1. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and adding a night to our reservation was super easy and cheerfully accommodated. 2. I accidentally left some clothes in the unit, and the housekeeper found them, contacted Vacation Living, and they were shipped to my home. :)

Booked a couple of nights here a month in advance through Priceline... (Priceline has the best…read moreprices for this motel.) This is one of the only NICE motels In all of this area PLUS the LA area that still have smoking rooms!... Well that I could find at least, and I did a lot of research! So check in went smoothly, the guy working the front desk that day was quite and reserved, but friendly. Reception area was small but very clean and modern looking. 218 was the room we were given. Upon walking in, it was a little stuffed and had a odd aroma, Nothing too horrible and nothing that a little airing out couldn't fix. Everything was very very clean!! Carpet even looked and felt new! Our bed was super soft and fluffy. Bathroom was spotless, Had new curtains in every window, and new lamps on every table, little closet area with hangers, very impressed with how well they keep these rooms up! Room comes with a microwave, little fridge blow dryer, ironing board and all the little complimentary toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and little hand soap bars... Spotless towels and bed sheets, spectrum cable TV, super powerful AC That takes a minute to get to its full power but once it does it keeps the room very chill. A pool and jacuzzi! Even though the pool is only 4 and 1/2 ft deep lol. And the jacuzzi doesn't have no Jets to turn on, but it is very warm! Only one Ice machine though, which didn't work a couple times we tried using it, like it was out of ice or something. Wifi works But it's slow and it cuts off a lot. And they need a better TV guide for their cable stations So you can pick a channel you want to watch without having to scroll through every single one blindly. But these negatives are all minor in my opinion. Every morning in the reception area, there is fresh coffee, oatmeal packets, and what looked to be like homemade muffins!! They were the best tasting muffins I have honestly ever tried! lol (try the blueberry ones!!) Plus I noticed croissants too! Also looking homemade! The second day that we were there they did have a little construction going on The side street next to the motel, starting at like 7:00 a.m. and at one point it was rattling the building, But we were heading out for the day at that time so it wasn't that bothersome to us, plus you got to figure it's not a constant thing because they were doing construction on the street next to the motel. Check out Is at 11:00 a.m. and it was also a breeze, had a different guy checking us out handed him the key he asked for the room number and my name and said that was it and we were all done, Got my $100 room deposit back a day and a half later, easy peasy! Plus they have a little burger/ breakfast joint literally 20 ft from the reception office, & many other restaurants around, So you don't got to go far to get some good eating! We very much enjoyed our stay here and next time that we are in the area this is definitely the spot we're choosing again!! Thank you vantage point for the wonderful experience!!

Myself and my three children after multiple times of trying to turn the TV on, I called the front desk. It still never worked the whole entire night the whole entire morning. When I notified the morning receptionist, Adam, he said there is no way that I could get a refund because I was offered another room that the front door did not lock. I am not going to pay over $170 for a room that doesn't lock, but has a TV. He was rude, the cleaning ladies were relatively rude and I believe I should have gotten some type of discount but at this point stay out of room 201. they shouldn't even be renting it out because it is in inhabitable. Adam also told me that I could not leave a message for the manager to call because he doesn't call people. I have to call him. Who is this guy? He's too busy to call an unsatisfied multiple stay, multiple money spending customer? Won't stay there again and don't recommend it at all..
