In addition, our host representative contacted us on the first day (via email, no text or call thankfully) to make sure everything was OK. The property in Pasadena (The Madison) was super clean and had everything we needed. The king-sized bed was more comfortable than our own, and we slept like babies. Our kids enjoyed their own TV in their room, so they didn't sleep as much. ;) Our location was perfect in Pasadena for walking. We were there for an event at the Convention Center and walked there every day. Parking at the Madison was relatively convenient and, most importantly, super secure (gated, garaged). How the Vacation Living went above and beyond: 1. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and adding a night to our reservation was super easy and cheerfully accommodated. 2. I accidentally left some clothes in the unit, and the housekeeper found them, contacted Vacation Living, and they were shipped to my home. :)

She was always looking out for us and helping make the right choice. We were so grateful to have had you by our side! The most important thing for my husband and I was response time and Natalie was #1. She gets answers and information you need for any question you have, it's unbelievable. She came with us to open houses, gave us lists of properties to see on our weekends. She will organize everything, ask us and make appointments and give us the time and date. We looked at so many properties and Natalie was with us throughout. She is quick but very knowledgeable and knows her field of work very well. At least once a week I can smell the fresh scent of pine in the elevator and lobby, as the building is routinely cleaned and cared for. Trash is removed on a regular basis and all common areas are spotless. Such a nice place to come home to each day! The staff were very friendly when showing me the unit, as well as when I was filling out my application. Julian has been fantastic about resolving any issues that have come up--though, there have been almost zero problems to report! He very graciously rushed over without much notice from me to help get my cable installed. I feel very confident in the staff and their ability to manage the building. Also, paying the rent online is quick and easy. Renting an apartment and living in a clean, comfortable space has been a breeze with Empire West. They are professional, attentive, proactive and ultimately, just nice people. Any time there is maintenance to be done on the building, a note is left on my door detailing the specifics of what work will be done and how long it will take. It can't get any better than Kim and Kristine. Kristine helped me find my dream home 8 years ago,…read moreand did the same for some of my friends, recently. They are the living proof that realtors don't have to be 'aggressive sharks'. They are sweet and kind, they really know their stuff, they are extremely professional, and they get the job done! Their unique personal and friendly approach and involvement is very effective and opposite from what's generally expected from realtors. But when it's time to play 'hard ball' in a tough negotiation, they are on!!! And they remain calm and friendly, yet tough and persistent, in a gentle way. I don't know how they do it. They're naturals. Again, proof that a friendly negotiation will get you much further than being the 'tough guy'. We went through months of making offers, getting rejected, lots of paperwork, and meetings. Ups and downs, but I knew I was in good hands, it's a difficult process sometimes, they stuck with me and remained extremely loyal, they are patient and take their time to explain the complicated paperwork in all details. All the way throughout the escrow period. I learned so much........and eventually they got me a super deal on the house I want to grow old in. I'll be grateful for the rest of my life. When I first met Kristine, through a friend, I wasn't even sure if I was able to buy a house. When we put my financials and criteria on the table, together with a great loan officer whom she was working with at the time, she said 'we can do it'. And she made it happen! Not only a great deal on the house, but also a great deal on the mortgage. By the way, they work closely with the best loan officers, another big plus! We remained friends ever since. Too bad Yelp only allows 5 stars, I'd give them 50. Look no further, folks :-)
