We had our wedding on the beautiful Fantasea Yachts aboard the stunning Dandeana, and it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Having such an important day celebrated on a private yacht made the entire experience feel incredibly special and unforgettable. Our package included passed appetizers, an alcohol package, and a delicious dinner with multiple sides and salad, all of which were very reasonably priced. The service was exceptional throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. Jasmine Lee helped me for an entire year leading up to the wedding, and on the day of the event, Jasmine and Stephanie worked seamlessly together to ensure everything ran smoothly. They directed our guests, kept the timeline on track, fixed my dress and veil before I walked down the aisle, brought appetizers and champagne to me and my bridesmaids while we were getting ready, and made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the evening. Our food and drinks were brought directly to our table while guests were being served, which allowed us to fully enjoy the celebration. They also handled all of our décor setup and cleanup, making the entire day stress-free. My only minor complaint was that the food service was located downstairs, so guests had to carry their plates upstairs. However, this was a very small issue compared to everything else that was done so well. Overall, our wedding was everything we hoped for and more. The yacht was gorgeous, the staff was outstanding, and the experience was truly unforgettable. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer duration because I didn't want the night to end! All aboard! Attended a wedding over the weekend for some of my favorite people in the world (Mike & Derrick Jackson-Polek) and was truly in love with the layout of our sailing yacht from start to finish aboard FantaSea Yacht's Dandeana. Boarding was easy, just watch you steps on the dock and entering and exiting the boat, with floor markers and signs in all the appropriate places. The wedding party was less than 100, close to 60 give or take with a four-hour event that included full bar service, passed Hors d'oeuvres, buffet with menu presentation including dietary restriction friendly offerings. The Dandeana has three decks counting the captain's lounge with bridal suite and two gender neutral restrooms. The party deck is where you'll find the bar, reception and event area all in one and the Sky Deck all the way on top is where you can really enjoy the sea and the sky as well as all the views along the SoCAL Los Angeles coast. Truly a beauty at night, but also very worthy of daytime. Seeing the sunset and the horizon from the sky was truly magically. We had a DJ with a great mixed put together by the happy couple from top 40s to disco to 80s and 90s nostalgia and tons of sing-along tunes as well. I was really impressed by how fast as well as smooth the wedding was set up and changed over to reception for dinner and the incredible staff though enjoying the buffet on the main deck and braving the stairs with two plates of food was a skill I didn't know I had. They had a solid selection of spirits for most well drinks at the bar, standard beer options and mediocre wine that was okay for the occasion, but you can BYOB/W/S for a small fee, which I recommend highly! The time really flies when you're celebrating and having fun. The string lights on the Sky Deck as well as the Party level were perfect. Truly appreciate Captain Joel, our chef, bartender, the crew, dj and host and any and all involved with making the day/night even more magical than possible for Derrick and Mike and all their friends, family and loved ones. read more

Doesn't look like much from the back but once you get inside, it's nice, the interior is fly, and the roof with the outside overlooking the water is very nice. I was surprised. There's a main bedroom, a kitchen, a huge living room, a upstairs, with another bar area, and another huge living room, with a roof top, and some areas where you can stand outside but in the front of the yacht. These are yachts. Huge yachts. There's some smaller yachts around here I see but this huge one is like a big house on water. I believe I'm on this yacht with 100 people or more. You can def have a party on here, or at least an event. I'm on a work experience. I give this company a 5 star. Even the customer service, staff is very nice. We got on at 9am and we are now going out to sea at 11:50am. We will be done around 4:30-5pm. Can't wait to see and feel the water. read more

Best Halloween Party ever! This review is long overdue. The company I work for loves Halloween and I was put in charge of planning the Halloween party. I have always wanted to have a party on a yacht and I came across FantaSea and I'm so glad I did. Everything was so easy. They are amazing! Erin gave me so many helpful ideas of how to decorate the yacht, and they decorated the yacht for me. I dropped off decorations and they took care of it. They even said I could have decorations sent to them directly. The Captain and all the crew were amazing. When I showed up before the event, they all knew my name and who I was and made me feel so special. My coworkers loved the party on the Dandeana yacht. We had a lunch buffet and the food was delicious. Dessert was cookies and milk shots. We had a coffee bar too. We had 3 levels in the Dandeana so it was nice to have multiple options of where people could go. It was such a beautiful day out on the water. I met Jasmine from Fantasea Yachts in January 2019 to prepare for my 50th birthday party in April of 2020. All the preparations was made for the party and you all know what happens next, Covid hits us and we don't know what's going to happen, the government going to let us have it, is Covid going to be gone before April, no one knew. I had friends and relatives from out of town planning to come down for the party, probably in February we made the decision to postpone it to the following year. We all wait and wait, restrictions aren't lifted yet. We can do small gatherings but not what I had planned, 250 people on the FantaSea One! Again we postponed the party till the following year, 2022! You know what, Covid was a blessing in disguise! Those two extra years allowed me to work and get more things for the party, we had casino night, live band, photo booth, DJ, balloon maker for the kids, great party favors and raffle prizes, an open bar till the end of the 6 hour party and a taco guy waiting on the docks for us when we disembarked to help sober up my guests at Dock 52! Throughout this whole process, Jasmine was there for me assuring me this was going to be "The party of the century!" My guests complimented me on the party thrown, saying the food was amazing and all the staff was great. Behind a great work force is a good leader and the general manager Jasmine is one great leader! We booked an evening four hour cruise for my fiancés 60th birthday. The staff was beyond amazing. They helped with decorating the room when I was running out of time. Oh dear... Where to start? Fellow yelpers, a quick review of my yelp reviews show that I only give out less than 3 stars when something inexcusable has happened. I am otherwise actually pretty generous with my stars. Let me start by saying that the Fantasea Yachts and Yacht Club is a pretty venue for a wedding and the Fantasea staff went above and beyond to try winning our business over. When it came time to tell them that we were in fact going with a different venue--all the false pretenses of professionalism and quality at this family owned business vanished. We got this long email ripping apart our chosen venue from Tiffani and saying that she couldn't believe that we would pick our venue for our wedding over them. OK. I am a pretty reasonable and fair minded person who has been nothing but nice and polite to these ppl. When someone basically tells me I am going to get married in a craptastic place and writes a bunch of inaccurate, irrational thoughts about it in such a bitter way, well it gets me going. Prior to this, I would've given Fantasea probably 4 fair stars. Their food was mediocre. We went to the tasting event and I was not very impressed with the food at all. Josh liked his chicken picatta. The vegetarian Napoleon was OK. the potatoes were not good. I thought the green beans were fine although I dono how you can do them bad. Josh thought the fish and the beef were ok. Their standard wedding buffet was too limited for what we needed--only two entrees and three accompaniments and most of the more interesting food items were an additional $2-4 per person. We were initially not going to go with the venue (before their inexcusable unprofessionalism nailed the coffin shut) bc we didn't want boring wedding food. We also wanted a lot of flexibility with time. It is $3000 for any hour over 5 hours for your event. We wanted about 7 hours and that was quite a bit more cost for just time. Although they spent a long time with us (which we appreciate quite a bit) throughout the whole venue searching process (spanning like 2-3 months), and said that they would give us "deals" we still ended up being about 5000 dollars above where we wanted to be AND we had even cut down our guest list! On top of that, I have a hard time going with a place that has a lot of extras but charges you for every little thing like colored linens and napkins. There were also a lot of other little "rules" and additional prices that are added along the way. Initially, I will have to say that I was won over by their facade of professional, hard working ppl who were willing to negotiate with us and make our "wedding dreams come true". It unfortunately ended with one of their staff's incoherent ramble and insults toward us. We are left with a bitter taste in our mouth as a result. Oh, one other thing, by the end of the long venue search, I almost felt like the staff felt we were obligated to go with them because of all the different pricing and plans and "work" they went through with us. At one point, I almost hoped to be switched to another event planner like Jasmine because my event planner seemed over us and our questions/concerns. On the other hand, they should have been thanking US for considering THEM. That never happened. Update: 7/29/15 I recently came across that awful email I got from Tiffani and realized I gave them a 2 star when they really deserve a 1 star! Btw our wedding at our chosen venue that they decided to belittle ended up being a fairytale wedding that people are still talking about. I was looking to party on a boat that looked awesome from land and had the makings of a nice ride at sea. We found Fantasea via web and via Yelp so we contacted them and started the process in choosing the right venue for us. We signed on and everything was in the basket until things started falling apart and we had to call it off. We contacted Fantasea and John Williams-Jacob & Jasmine Lee did there best to accommodate. In the beginning they stated it was a family business and they would go above and beyond for us. We noticed that the discounts we were getting weren't really discounts but just a manipulation of the numbers and they offered to refund our money but after hesitation we were back on board. But as much as we wanted to continue things unraveled and we were brought down with uncertainty. We tearfully cancelled and submitted paperwork for refund. We didn't think they'd opt to give us back anything but they eventually refunded our entire amount. In tough times like these I am grateful for companies like these that work with you even when you need to cancel for an unforeseen reason. read more

We just had our wedding this past weekend 4-12-14. It was the most fantastic spectacular wedding! So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed every aspect of it. The FantaSea Yachts is definitely an amazing place to hold any special event. I highly recommend it. We had the ceremony aboard the Regent Sea yacht. It was amazing, spectacular, and romantic. It was really neat to glance outside during the ceremony and see the beautiful Marina. Everyone was smiling and happy. We had a gorgeous Chuppah and red roses/ arrangements from the Flower Lab in Santa Monica. The rabbi was really really great, Rabbi Barry Tuchman, which was on the club's vendor list. Everyone loved him and his sense of humor and way of officiating in a unique way . We had great Hors d'Heuvres and the drinks at the bar were great as well. As far as the staff on board, I was very happy. Jasmine really helped us every step of the way. Things went very smoothly as we followed our timeline. Any time I had something come up, she was right there. The bridal room was really cute and comfortable. They had champagne and hors d'heuvres there for me. I felt very spoiled. Next we landed and had gorgeous pictures taken right by the Yacht as the sun was setting by Gina and Ryan photography. It was just the perfect setting for our portraits. We then entered the beautiful yacht club and straight into our first dance to the beautiful music of the band: Makina Loca (Salsa Cuban/African band). We had 200 plus guests and the place totally accommodated that many people. The dance floor was just enough space and we were able to fit a 9 piece band and DJ there comfortably. Our DJ Kevs Uno was fantastic and made announcements for things coming up and played all the best jams. We danced all night and had a blast. The food was good, better than the tasting we had a few months prior. The cake was included in our package from Torrance Bakery. It was spectacular, gorgeous and tasty. They time the boats departure so that when the ceremony is happening, you have a nice sunset background for the couple. Open bar. Free water and champagne, the rest you have to pay for. Friendly bartenders. Food was served cafeteria style. Get in line, get your plate and silverware and get your food. The yacht made many trips up and down the harbor. Got to hang out at the bridge and chatted it up with the captain explaining to me the many complex and different instruments and navigation system. It was an eye-opener since I've always wondered how they navigate the waters when it's pitch black at night. It was a different wedding experience than your usual church or country club wedding. My friend's work hosted their holiday party with FantaSea Yacht. It was an entirely delightfully different from the typical work party, so I was pretty excited. On the day of, we ran a little late and nearly missed our yacht, which would've been a bummer. Not to worry, we MADE IT! They didn't depart until about 5 minutes later. I'm sure it's different for different events, but for the purpose of my visit, I checked in on the first floor, which was very spacious for its purpose that night, second floor was dining, third was dance floor, and fourth was the deck for hanging out and smoking. Since it was around the holiday times, it was very festive to hang out on the deck since other yachts were decorated with holiday cheers--it was just freezing cold! PROS: Fun, accommodating, and attentive staff (I asked for more eclairs and our server took some from the next day's event for me) No lines for restrooms Clean! I recently had a wedding late October and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We met with many different venues from Huntington Beach to Malibu and we must say the biggest and main reason we chose FantaSea Yachts was because of Jasmine. She is the GM but you would never know it. She plays the role of wedding planner, cordinator, and basically the IT person. She is timely with her emails and text. She accomadated to our request for the food and also was there to ensure our wedding went amazing. She kept her cool throughtout the wedding and did everything with 100 percent professionalism. The food was delicious and the pricing is a steal! I would recommend FantaSea Yachts over and over again. I am in the industry and I have to say this is the type of hospitality that does not exist anymore. If you are thinking about booking an event, stop thinking and JUST DO IT! Thank You Jasmine!
