It was the first and only venue we toured, and we never looked back. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are incredible, and the entire experience from start to finish was seamless. We are STILL getting compliments on the food, especially the carving station! The recommended vendors were also amazing(huge shoutout to Little Blue Hummingbird!). We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more beautiful place to get married. So grateful we chose this venue!

Just south of their building they have a parking lot which is pretty smart and decent for a lot of cars to be locked in. If you end up, leaving your car and you pick it up the next day. They open the gates at 9am. The church used to be a Presbyterian, and has been around for 100 years. It is clearly well taken care of and very beautiful. We first met with Amanda, who assisted us with pulling the trigger with setting a date. Their packages are very affordable and include everything. From the design of your table arrangements, to the choice of your flowers, to what you want your guest to eat and drink. You even get a DJ included in the package. Oh! I can't forget about the cake from Torrance Bakery! Our next meeting was with Madi, who moved us along with the specifics and locked things down further into place. Fumi was the one who got us across the finish line on the day. She was there for us during the rehearsal and got our wedding party in line for everything to be perfect. Both the Atlantic room, and the bridal suite were really nice. After we tied the knot, we went and had a couple of drinks brought by Fumi, and cocktail snacks from our dinner captains Samantha and Kelli. It was a slightly warm day, but the AC units were working really good when it came down to taking photos with our family and friends. We moved on into the hall where it was beautifully decorated, and also well air-conditioned. We had a set up for 90 people, and dinner service went perfectly. Table by table people went and got food. Our dinner captains brought ours. Slices of beef, garlic, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, crispy chicken pieces, cheese, tortellini, and a roll. It was all delicious. I wish I had had more but my wife and I were the show. lol. Drinks are always brought to us and special thanks to Chelsea for taking care of our family and friends at the bar outside. They have four bar tables and a patio set to sit in for six. We decided to have the dancing up on the stage where Gio played some great music for us. The party can go on as late as 11 at this place, so don't expect to go into the morning hours of the next day. Also want to give thanks to the chefs Ben, Fancie and David for all the good food they brought out for everyone and the Wedgewood team for the amazing setup they put together from start to finish.

Castle Green is a circa 1898 annex to the now demolished Hotel Green. It now houses privately…read moreowned condominiums, with its public rooms and grounds often hosting weddings, events and filming. Twice a year it is open for tours, including some of the private residences. We just enjoyed the Holiday 2025 tour. The public rooms on the ground floor are indeed grand, including an ornate staircase and cage elevator requiring an attendant. There's a ballroom also. There's a stately verandah that extends the length of the building, and peaceful gardens with a fountain. The bridge that extends from the building to Raymond Ave. used to go across Raymond to the Hotel Green. There are 7 floors with floors 2-6 housing private apartments. On the 7th floor is a rooftop patio and a privately owned penthouse. It was open for the tour--it's a large loft-like space with windows facing every direction. Several of the apartments on the lower levels were also on view; the individual owners were so kind to open their homes to strangers on these tour days. The apartments vary in size, with the larger units on the south side of the building where there are circular turrets. Even more varied were the way the owners decorated their units. The owners of most of the units were clearly interested in art and architecture. Styles seen included Asian, Mid-Century, Arts and Crafts. Some kitchens were petite, with smaller appliances. Downstairs is the headquarters for the Thomas Paine Society, an advocate in the 1770's for America's independence, considered America's first radical. For the tours, there were some light bites available, supplied by Little Lily's Kitchen catering, whose place in Altadena fell victim to the Eaton fire. There was a potato leek soup, Angel biscuits, vegan chorizo tacos and Thanksgiving-ish sliders with turkey, brie and cranberry, plus hot apple cider and cookies. I also noticed that they provide a shuttle service for folks who have difficulty managing the steps to or from the actual event. That way they can get out of their cars, board the shuttle and get to the event in relative ease. It's a critical accommodation for those with vision/mobility issues.
