Kari and her team were the best investment we made for our wedding experience. We absolutely loved working with her. Kari is easy going, organized and a joy to work with. When she says planning your wedding with her will be a stress-free experience, there's no exaggeration. With all of her years of working in this industry, she knows so many vendors, venues and has all the checklists and details down to a science. All the planning leading up to the day was easy and seamless. The day of our wedding there were no problems and no issues that came to me or my husband. Kari and her team handled everything down to last minute toast swaps and the mother of the bride demanding a boutonniere for the father of the bride (when there wasn't one). We highly recommend hiring Kari to help you plan your special day. You won't regret it! read more

WHERE do I begin!? My mom and I thought we could plan my wedding ourselves but we quickly realized we needed help and that is where Kari came in. We met with a few other planners who we were not loving before meeting with Kari and we were immediately drawn in to her warm, calming and wonderful nature. She is queen and I mean QUEEN planner and our wedding weekend was 10/10 perfect all around solely because of her and her team. Kari made wedding planning...which can be so stressful and overwhelming, feel so easy, manageable and FUN. My family, fiancee and I felt so taken care of and safe in her hands I cannot begin to describe how important it was to not worry AT ALL wedding weekend because Kari had it on lock. She was such a calm presence in the wedding weekend frenzy that I was so grateful for. She was always there to answer my millions of questions and made us feel seen, heard and understood. She took our vision and made it come to life, working with our vendors to ensure our weekend was everything we wanted. Your wedding planner is THE most important person on your wedding weekend (besides your S.O. heheh) so you want someone wonderful, kind hearted, fun, present, organized, calm and someone who just gets it...and that's Kari!!! PLEASE do not hesitate booking her...she is truly a dream come true. OH and she did it all 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. Can someone say superwoman!!?!?! read more

Feathered Arrow - Party & Event Planning Near Me

Working with Kari and her Feathered Arrow team was the BEST decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. Kari is so knowledgeable about the wedding space - she is so familiar with all of the venues and has wonderful vendor recommendations that she was able to tailor to the feel we were going for on our wedding day. We ended up going with an amazing venue that Kari had suggested right from the beginning and worked with vendors Kari recommended that were all fantastic. Kari is super well-respected in the wedding industry and you can absolutely see why. From her fantastic recommendations to her fool-proof checklist to the frequent reassuring phone calls and FaceTimes, working with Kari was an absolute dream. Kari's style is one of my favorite things about working with her - she is such a wonderful person and so patient, caring, sweet, and so much fun! But she's also a total go-getter - super organized, thorough, communicative, and persistent tracking down answers with vendors (super important!). As a result of working with Kari and her team, we had an unforgettable wedding day with amazing food, beautiful decor, but most importantly felt completely personal and true to who we are as a couple and was super meaningful. Everything went smoothly and the months leading up to it were way less stressed than we imagined we'd have been. Kari and her team at Feathered Arrow swooped in and saved our wedding in October of last year. Our event turned out beautifully after unfortunately having to fire our former wedding coordinator. Kari literally worked miracles to give my wife and me the most tasteful, elegant, romantic, warm, and best of all FUN wedding anyone could ask for. AND this was all smack in the middle of pandemic times. Kari is an amazing person and amazing to work with. She's kind, communicative, professional...and surprisingly tall! We could not have pulled off our wedding without the Feathered Arrow team. We had 4 unexpected venue changes - the most recent of which was just 3 weeks before our wedding. Kari and Jess are organized, communicative, and handle challenges with a calm demeanor which we appreciate. They stepped in to help us secure a new venue and helped us navigate all vendor contracts and changes. They helped with decor selections, taking into account our personal touches and color palette. As a couple that was a little hesitant if we would really need a wedding planning team to pull off our big day, we are SO happy we decided to. I cannot say enough how absolutely wonderful my wedding planning experience was with Kari and Feathered Arrow. People try to warn you about how overwhelming and stressful planning a wedding can be, but you never fully understand it until you're IN IT. It is no joke, and I am so unbelievably grateful I had Kari by my side. Kari is profoundly kind, professional, knowledgeable and organized. She was always quick to respond to my *many* emails and had an answer for everything. On wedding weekend, she was cool, calm and collected the entire time, never making me feel stressed or rushed, which helped so very much. Every other vendor I used complimented Kari & her team for being exceptional and I couldn't agree more. I was so sad when it was all over because I felt like Kari & I were breaking up! haha In a nutshell, she's the very best. You will not regret hiring Feathered Arrow. read more

Well, my sweet mom beat me to a fantastic review and she only interacted with Feathered Arrow on the actual wedding day. If that doesn't tell you enough about how terrific Kari and Jess are let me just quickly say you are absolutely making the best decision hiring them. From start to finish, Kari made this overwhelming and potentially very expensive adventure so stress free and cost efficient. She is knowledgeable, resourceful, and honestly just darn delightful. Because Kari was booked on our date, she gifted us with her assistant Jess who... holy moly.. is an angel! She was so wonderful at keeping everything on track but never feeling like she was pushing. She was always there when we needed her and never indicated any stress. She felt like family and I know my family would say the same. Feathered Arrow was incredible! Word don't even begin to describe how thankful we are for bringing our wedding vision to life! We had some last minute changes due to the rain & space constraints as setup was underway and we truly appreciated their ability to adapt and make the evening truly magical for my wife and I. From the moment we walked into the Redwood Room at Calamigos Ranch to start our photo session and saw how breathtaking the space already looked, there was such a huge sense of relief for me knowing my wife and I could relax and enjoy our celebration. They created final timelines for a family and vendors, took care of all final check-ins with our vendors and so much more. During the event they were their to support us and keep us moving along the timeline, but did it all from the background and really without our guests even knowing they were there working behind the scenes to bring the event to life. It was a night my wife and and I and most of our family and friends will never forget! read more

Without a doubt, Kari is one of the leading professionals in the wedding industry as a whole. Having Kari by our side throughout our entire engagement and planning process was definitely the greatest blessing of our entire wedding experience. From the very moment we came across her website and IG, we found that the warmth, professionalism, and drive that she exhibited with her words to be completely unique from any other planner/coordinator we had previously looked into. She is just as composed, caring, intentional, and motivated in person, and we finally became EXCITED to begin the hefty planning process as we finally felt that we had found our support! We came into the planning process with big dreams of what our wedding day could be, and she helped steer us in the write direction while never stifling our creativity or excitement. With a very large and detailed wedding of 250+ guests and many, many vendors, Kari handled every single detail one could think of and always was one step ahead in meeting the needs of others and executing the logistics of the day. Through the six-month planning process, Kari was the ultimate teammate and helped curate conversation with vendors and took great care in helping us find the perfect team for our day. She is extremely creative and multi-talented, turning the act of planning a special event into a unique creative process for all involved. Together, we created the most beautiful, intentional, thoughtful day. Every single piece of the day was beautifully orchestrated thanks to her. We were extremely impressed with her preparedness, organization, and relaxed demeanor in the midst of so much responsibility and coordination. She aided in enabling our wedding day to be the best day of our lives as a duo, and she managed it all with grace, kindness, humor, comfort, and selflessness. We found Kari through a friend's recommendation and are so glad we were able to work with her for our wedding this past October. Kari is lovely, wonderful at her job, organized, professional, helpful, flexible and a total pleasure to work with. She took a huge load off of our shoulders in terms of communicating with vendors, managing our venue and the many venue requirements, managing the vendors on the day of, and making sure we stayed on schedule and got everything done. We also delayed our wedding by a year due to COVID and she was instrumental in getting our vendors organized for a new date. She remembered all the the little things I wanted done (including reserving a ceremony seat in memory of my brother) and made sure they happened. She is a total pleasure to work with and totally worth it. Our families had a fantastic time at the wedding, it all came together beautifully and we owe that in large part to Kari and our vendors. Feathered Arrow Events are incredible. Kari and her team are calm, organized, and execute flawlessly. Did anything go wrong at our wedding? No idea! Why?! Because of Kari and her team. Throughout the planning process, Kari gently steered us in the right direction, ensuring we were making decisions in a timely manner, and providing considerations that we might not have thought of, that would impact the big day! She and her team are the ultimate professionals. Our venue became a huge challenge to work with, and they did everything in their power to get across the finish line with the least amount of frustration. Even last minute changes (i.e. - adding a salad plate to our rentals!) Kari handled them with ease. I really can't say enough about this team. Kari literally saved my dream wedding... I can't believe that I already haven't written a review for Kari and her team at Feathered Arrow. I'm so embarrassed. There's a big story behind this one, so here it goes. Kari was always my favorite part of the wedding planning process. From our first coffee meet to all the emails and walkthroughs afterwards; we clicked. She is not only a talented and professional event coordinator, but more importantly, a support system. A confidant and friend. She handled literally everything, and I mean everything: contracts, emails, pricing lanterns, sourcing escort boards, putting me in touch with the right people, picking up linens, etc. Not to mention, dealing with my thousands of emails. For the entire 10 months that I was engaged and planning my wedding, it was honestly a total breeze thanks to Kari and Feathered Arrow. Here's where I really knew Kari was THE ONE... My husband Ryan and I were married on November 17, 2018 and the weekend before our wedding we were forced to find a new location due to the Malibu fires. So sorry for the all caps here but any bride-to-be has to realize that MY WEDDING WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF IT WERE NOT FOR FEATHERED ARROW. I'm being 100% serious. Kari literally moved my entire vision from our original venue to our new location at the wonderful Maravilla Gardens in just 3 days. The day was literally so perfect because of her and her staff. Guests still sing of her praises. After the ceremony and throughout the evening, everyone could not stop complimenting her hard work. My whole family even follows Kari on Instagram because we are THAT indebted to her. I have tears in my eyes writing this because what Kari offered was more than just a service-- it was moments and memories of a day I will never forget. Not a single detail was sacrificed during the relocation. She worked tirelessly to update all my contracts with our vendors and made sure that there was no stress on me what so ever. The big day went without a hitch and to be honest, it was better than Ryan and I (guests and families included) could've ever imagined. It was so perfect and. I knew from the moment Kari and I met that we were in good hands. We had already loved Kari so much before all this happened, but now, I can't imagine my wedding day without her. Even better, we are still connected and stay in touch. She is the most loyal, thoughtful and dedicated human being. Hiring Feathered Arrow is the best decision I ever made-- beyond any dream venue or dream vendor. When brides ask me for my one piece advice about wedding planning? Hire Kari. You want Feathered Arrow on your team. None of it would've happened without her. Thank you, Feathered Arrow! XOXO read more

Words cannot express my gratitude for Kari and Feathered Arrow events. My wedding was perfect and something out of a magazine and it was the all because of Kari and her awesome assistant! I used Kari for planning and day of coordination and I can't imagine having done this without her! She was a constant calming influence and absolute wedding detail ninja! Every Pinterest list or wedding planning list you find online only covers 50% of what actually needs to be booked, bought, organized and executed and with Kari's help you get 120% and not a second of your day is forgotten or left unplanned. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can go with just any one think again because you want Kari! She is a top-notch planner and just an incredibly sweet person who was so fun to meet and plan with and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. Her network of vendors is also a huge plus with Kari. She even had recommendations for onsite babysitting services and our day after brunch. The week of the wedding Kari touched base with all of my vendors and completely took over scheduling and bring their contact person. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful and relaxing it was to not deal with a single email or phone call during that week and of course the day of! The night of the rehearsal she wrangled and organized the whole bridal party and put my mind at ease with a complete walk thru. My mom and I sourced our own mismatched vintage dishes and trusted Kari to put it all together the day of and she did exactly that. Every single detail was perfect and it was all thanks to Kari's design genius! It's like she was reading my mind and I loved everything she came up with! Most of all the day of our wedding every second went absolutely perfectly and went unbelievably smooth! If anything wasn't perfect I had no idea because Kari just handled everything! Hiring Feathered Arrow was probably the best decision we made during our entire wedding planning process. Working with Kari was such a joy -- she is organized and methodical and so on top of every follow-up item as well as your timeline. We hired Kari and her team for two reasons and we're so glad we did: 1) our parents are on the east coast and we felt we needed the help, and 2) the venue we picked (Triunfo Creek Vineyards) is essentially a blank slate and we felt a bit overwhelmed coordinating all of the vendors on our own. Kari had some wonderful vendor suggestions and we were truly pleased with every single vendor we hired. Not only is Kari professional and diligent in her work, she really took the time to understand what we wanted most out of our wedding, and offered her own creative suggestions to help us achieve a dream weekend. She also remained completely calm and focused on the day whenever anything cropped up, which really allowed us to relax and just enjoy the moment with our family and friends. Kari coordinated our December 2017 wedding, and we were so grateful for everything she did to make our day run smoothly. In the months leading up to our wedding, she was available via email or phone to answer any questions we had, and we also scheduled two in-person meetings to keep us on track. On the day of our wedding, Kari was calm, organized and executed everything we had spoken about perfectly. My husband and I (and our families!) were able to enjoy a completely stress-free day because Kari and her assistant worked so hard behind the scenes. Best of all, she makes everything seem effortless, and is a wonderful, serene presence. Budget was obviously a big concern for us in our planning process. Kari is absolutely incredible at what she does! We are so extremely thankful to have had her throughout the wedding planning process. Our wedding day at Triunfo Creek Vineyards could not have gone more seamlessly and I know that is all thanks to her! Kari is so incredibly organized and on top of things, and always returned my emails and calls promptly. Over the 9 months of planning, Kari was involved in almost every aspect of the process with us, and even helped us work out a budget spreadsheet to keep everything on track. She provides you with a monthly checklist all the way up until the big day, and that list was seriously my bible for planning. Because of it, I knew that I was not forgetting even the littlest of details. Her vendor recommendations are also a huge help- she provided such wonderful vendors that not only were affordable but that were also a pleasure to work with. Kari was a god send!!!!! Her and her team completely saved our big day. I was originally referred to Kari through a colleague of mine, so I already knew I would love working with her. I was impressed right off the bat - while I am not the kind of person who has been envisioning her wedding since birth, I did want the day to look pretty, feel thoughtful, and run smoothly, and Kari understood what I was getting at right away. Her no-nonsense, process-driven approach to wedding planning spoke to my inner project manager - she provided us with checklists, Google Drive folders, and a working timeline as soon as we first met. Her hard work and incredible organization kept everything running as it should, and she kept me in the loop on every conversation she had with our vendors. In addition, her list of suggested vendors was super helpful, and she thought of literally everything (we definitely would have forgotten to think about the chairs for the hora, for example!) In the weeks leading up to the wedding I was telling everyone I could that hiring her was the best decision we made in the entire process. The day of our wedding, she handled everything with NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM OR CONCERN coming my or my husband's way (and I'm sure at least SOMETHING went wrong that she had to handle on the fly!) and she even held onto our cake knife for us so that we could get it back later. This is a way overdue review. My husband and I got married in March of 2015 at Triunfo Creek Vineyards. We had a short engagement...3 months, so just imagine all we had to do. My biggest concern was making sure we could enjoy our day without having to stress or worry about the details. In comes Kari from Feathered Arrow. Not only is she the utmost professional, she is just a doll. She understands the need to radiate peace to a bride, but most importantly she is capable of giving you the exact help you need. She can take care of everything or just simply be a facilitator to carry out what you worked so hard to prepare, which was my case. I certainly recommend having Kari be that person on your big day. She was absolutely essential to making our dream day a success. Thanks again Kari. read more

I cannot begin to describe how incredible Kari and her team were at Feathered Arrow. I used them for month-of planning for my wedding on Catalina Island in April. In addition to day-of coordinating, Kari also has a keen eye for design and impeccable taste in wedding decor. Day of, she was calm and perfectly executed the entire day. If there were any hiccups with the venue or deliveries, I definitely didn't hear about them (which is exactly what you want on wedding day.) I was recommended to Feathered Arrow by family and another vendor and it's safe to say it was the best choice we made for our wedding. Kari and Jess are both extremely kind and comforting throughout the whole process. They don't judge you for anything specific that you want for your big day and they do everything they can to make the entire process as easy and stress free as possible. There are so many tiny details and rules that venues or vendors have and I know without Kari and Jess that nothing would have gone smoothly. It's such a relief leading up to your wedding knowing that you have two of the most experienced and calm people looking out for you. The week leading up to my wedding I was able to actually enjoy the excitement that I felt instead of stressing over everything that was changing because I knew they were there taking care of it. I had the absolute BEST time at my wedding, and it really was better than I thought it could be. Everything was more detailed and beautiful than I imagined, and it was the smoothest and most stress-free day it could have been. If you're on the fence about getting a coordinator, go with Feathered Arrow! You want to be able to enjoy your engagement and wedding planning, and Kari and Jess not only make everything easy, but they help you figure out what you want even if your ideas are all over the place (like mine were). You should stop researching Wedding Planners and just hire Kari NOW! You'd be lucky to have her. You will not find someone more dedicated, positive, organized, genuine, responsive, detail-oriented, or adaptable than Kari. We had a two-day Indian-American wedding. The first day was 250 guests and next day 300 guests -- both events were an incredible success thanks to Kari! Both venues were more bare bones (we brought in everything from the chairs, to the forks, to the trash cans), so as you can imagine there are MANY vendors. Kari coordinated everything with the vendors leading up to the day and the day off without missing a beat! The days ran seamless because of her! She has several great vendors to recommend, but is not pushy about using her recommended vendors. She also helped us with design and allocating our budget. Her personality is amazing - she is very easy going, but will be persistent when its needed. Planning a wedding is an emotional rollercoaster, and Kari was there for us and our families every step of the way. She made us feel confident that everything would come together. Hiring Kari was without a doubt the best decision we made when planning a wedding. She is worth her weight in gold and I could not imagine planning this wedding without her. Two weeks after our wedding day, I am SO thankful to have worked with Kari and her Feathered Arrow team. We began working with Kari, 13 months out from our wedding date. From the initial meeting to the actual wedding day, Kari provided planning support as if I was her only client. She is super organized, very hardworking and does a great job putting all of your crazy/discombobulated ideas into one beautiful event. She has a great eye for design, while also taking into account what you like and what your vision is for the day. She doesn't over power you with her own ideas, but does a great job designing and working with you to make it exactly what you want and what your guests will love. From solidifying our wedding venue to finding and booking vendors, Kari scouted, double checked contracts, and communicated with vendors throughout the entire process. Without Kari, the budgeting process was overwhelming and it was difficult to know what was good/bad vendor pricing. Kari walked us through quotes and helped us make the best decisions that would work well with our budget and our design goals. Just having her help us with this, was worth every penny! Feathered Arrow provides a checklist every month or so, which compartmentalizes what needs to be done and when it should be done by. By regularly reviewing it with Kari, it provided huge a sense of relief when there were so many decisions, deadlines and vendors to keep track of. Kari was the sweetest, most laid-back wedding planner. She is definitely not your typical A-type personality wedding planner who is yelling, running hither thither on the big day. Kari is unusually calm and collected throughout the day, helps set-up all your decorations the day of as well as helps break-down everything at the end of the big day. She is very well organized and sets up a detailed plan with you prior to the day of as well as communicates with all the other vendors to ensure your day goes as smoothly as possible. She is very responsive to all your questions and concerns leading up to the day and flexible to any last minute requests day-of. An overall very positive experience and I would recommend her highly. read more

I got married two weeks ago and used Kari & her team as my day of coordinator - they were a dream! Working with Kari is such a breeze - she's easy going, confident, and a total pro. She made it so easy for me to let go of details and trust her to take care of everything. Her assistant Jodi (who worked with us the day of) was also so great. She ran the day so seamlessly and beautifully - I was constantly impressed with how well things were going. Together, they made the day so fun and easy for me because I didn't have to worry about anything. Thank you x1000000 for everything! Would absolutely recommend! read more
