Incredible Vinyasa teacher! I hadn't practiced in a few months due to an injury and then I just took her class today. It was bomb! Just what I needed. If you need personal one on one attention you should book her for a private. She is very knowledgable and a great communicator. I've always suffered from knee pain due to a lack of cartilage in my left knee. My girlfriend recommended Selah Estrada to me and after the first session, my knee had never felt better! She performed an assessment of my medical history and showed me the positions that would be the most beneficial to my situation! She even devised a yoga plan so that I can practice on my own! Selah is the best! I initially took a class of hers, then went with privates, to get a more personalized/customized routine, and I couldn't be happier! She is really cool, and knows what she's doing.....I see and feel progress every time I see her. She also taught me great stretches to do on my own, to help with some various reoccurring issues....so now, thanks to her, I feel great, and have the tools to easily recover when my body gets out of whack. I bought my mom a private at home one on one with Selah Estrada for Mother's day as a last ditch attempt to get her into yoga (for the sake of her health) and it was hands down the best decision I've ever made. I've dragged her to a group class before but it was too large to get much individual attention which, especially for someone a little older who has no experience doing yoga and for whom English is a second language, made it really hard to get into and keep up with the class and she left kind of disappointed. Selah's class was a game changer. My mom had been trying to convince me to cancel this lesson ever since I got it for her but she did, eventually, agree to go through with it and I have to say, I haven't seen her as excited about much as she was about yoga at the end of the lesson. Selah started off listening very carefully to what exactly my mom wanted to improve on and her own estimation of her (lack of) abilities. She then tailored the lesson specifically to her and led her through the poses carefully with the precise attention to form and validation that what she was doing was right or wrong that my mom had lacked in a group class. She answered every single question and addressed every concern with enthusiasm and genuine helpfulness and just brought a great energy to the session. At the end of the class, my mom was more confident and aware of how much more capable she was than she had realized.My mom's been trying to continue with the yoga postures she learned ever since then and gets really excited to start her day off that way and to feel herself improve. I would definitely recommend Selah to everybody. She's good at what she does, she tailors directly to her clients needs and seems to genuinely care about them too, and most importantly (to me) she was the catalyst for a big positive change in my mom's life. I wish there was a 10 star option! I had soooo much fun at my one on one today with Selah! I bought a package on Groupon and had my first lesson earlier this morning. I have never had someone come to my house to do yoga so I figured I would give it a try. Often times I feel like I get lost in large yoga classes. My one on ones with Selah were awesome! She gave me tons of attention, helping me really perfect my poses without feeling embarrassed by a class full of people. Selah is very knowledgable and has a healing, loving and kind energy. Not only did I learn a lot and feel like I did a lot for my body, but I simply love hanging out with Selah! She's funny and makes you feel comfortable from beginning to end. She also invited me to her classes at The Love Dome, which I'm planning on attending this upcoming week.
