WHY WHY WHY...NO more breakfas??? We came here at 9:30am to a sign on the door that hours have changed. When I googled to see if they were open before we left the house it said OPEN. Food was dry. The clientele here is a bit uptight for me. It's expensive for a DIY place. You tip them and they bring your dry food out but that's IT. I want my tip back to give only to the busser, who was nice. read more

We checked out two other places before we landed here. And we are so glad we did! I had the Chicken Tinga and the Poc Chuc Street Tacos. Honey had the Taco Combo Plate with Poc Chuc, Fish, and Birria tacos. We got a side of Cilantro Rice. Yum. Yum. YUM!! The crispy fish was our favorite (crispy on the outside, flakey and thick cut - not greasy at all!), and the Poc Chuc was a close second! The ambiance was delightful. Casual Mexican food with some nice touches. Parking is easy. The service is good. The food is tasty. The portions are huge. There is a full bar. The margaritas come out of a tap, but they're tasty and potent. There was a great blues musician performing when we were in on Friday afternoon. read more

I'm so excited Oro Valley now has a Seis Kitchen. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy street-style tacos and take out of town guests. We went around 11am on a weekday and had one person in front of us to order. Service was quick and friendly. You place your order at the counter and the bring out the food to your table. My husband and I each ordered a variety of street tacos and margaritas (on draft!). Everything was delicious and up to quality like the other two locations. I love the openness of this location. There is a garage door that I imagine will be open when the weather is cooler. There is also a nice patio. Seis Kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their breakfast menu includes burros, tacos, and combo plates along with coffee, horchata, and mimosas. I haven't had their breakfast yet but look forward to trying it now that a location is closer to home. read more

I'm beyond excited to have a Seis near me. This place is beautifully decorated. Bright Orange chairs with black and white cushions line the inside dining area. They have small succulents in southwestern ceramic pots as table markers on each table. They have mister fans all around the outside dining area. They have plenty of seating for large groups. So glad to have Seis here in Oro Valley! The space is gorgeous and spacious and there's a lovely patio with a view of Pusch Ridge. We visited and enjoyed some delicious margaritas and split the nachos - so yummy and plenty of food to share. You order at the counter and they deliver the food and drinks to your seat. My poor husband keeps having a bad experiences here and had written this place off. We had gone a while back and they had run out of tortillas and didn't tell us until we had been sitting there a while waiting for our food. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of tortillas? They also denied making a drink for him at the bar because it was 2 minutes before closing. This was the same night so not a good experience. We went back another time and they forgot his order after we had been sitting there a while with a table full of friends eating. He wrote the place off: We decided to go back today and our entire table had their food except him. They brought his dish after everyone had finished eating so he took it to go. The server was nice and did apologize. They also had a line to order backed up to the door and had one register open so it took forever to order. They have 2 registers to utilize. The food that was served was good and they now serve complimentary chips and salsa which is nice and it tasted good. They still have some things to work out and my husband has just had some bad luck there. read more

We hit Seis' newest location late in the lunch hour and didn't run into any of the hiccups in service time like other reviews mention. I really like the almost sweet pibil pork (still my favorite) and tried al pastor flavor of street tacos. My husband likes the zing of the chicken tinga ones. You can't go wrong with any of them and the flavors are beyond your every day street taco flavor. Each Seis location has its atmosphere vibe each with their (mostly) pros and cons, but their street tacos meet expectations each time! read more

This is the place for excellent tacos with a wide range of flavors. I love that you can mix and match the tacos. My favorite was El Pastor but they were all delicious!! A slick and clean concept. But tables are dirty and there is no service. The set up for when you arrive is confusing because you are supposed to go to an area to order but not real good signage. There is only a skeleton staff. Asked for burritos to be cut and they were not cut. Food delivered on plate but salsa spilled all over. No service but they ask for a tip. No reason to tip here as you do everything for yourself. Coffee is lukewarm and old at 10am. The view is excellent at the foot of Pusch Ridge. The burritos are decent. They could do so much more to create a special atmosphere but they seem to do all in their power to make things generic. read more

Never knew about this place till i searched places within tucson. My wife and i tried their 1st location and we were blown away with their food and even the refrescas we ordered. I was looking forward to a new restaurant in OV that had good food at good prices. Seis is not that place. The food was, at best, ok. The price was not ok. First, if you want a carne asada taco don't come here. They have various meats like adobo beef (which is the closest to asada), carnitas, and others but nothing simple. They have a lunch special of 2 tacos, side, and drink for $13. We had the (large platter with 3 tacos) adobo tacos (which are close but not as good as asada), a side of beans, an extra taco and two soft drinks for a whopping total of almost $30! Not exactly what I would consider cheap. Plus, I got the hot salsa that was very smoky and had almost no heat. I gotta wonder what the mild or medium were like. I'm glad OV is getting more places to eat but this place really doesn't deserve the prices it charges. read more

Here's the thing, I LOVE the food from Seis. This has the opportunity to be an awesome spot, but every time I visit, place a to go order (or even try to) there is something that brings frustration. It's incredibly evident that the systems and processes in place are broken and that is felt by customers who wait, receive incorrect orders, can't place orders, can't order online, can't call in, can't get a drink at the bar, are told breakfast can't be served when the times on the board say otherwise, I could go on. This morning our order was not ready for 45 minutes past the quoted time. They kept apologizing but it felt like the needle never moved to get the order out or attempt to make it right. Another gentleman came in and said to staff, "I love this place; but there is always something going wrong and it's super frustrating". I feel the same way and I know when we come in groups we run into something, so it fired me up to write this review. Management, do something!! All of these locations are in great spots, have a good ambiance, delicious foods, but something needs to be done. Why doesn't the POS system work for online orders? Why can't you make any kind of modification? Why can't you call to speak to someone in the restaurant? I have never seen a hiring sign posted at any location but there appears to be a staff shortage EVERYWHERE. This is felt by customers heavily. I get stuff happens now and again, but without fail every time, a flaw in the processes in place overpowers everything else. read more

Showed up a on a Saturday night with the restaurant maybe 50% full. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, we continued to notice people that arrived after us get their order. After asking about our order, excuses were "there was a large party ahead of you" and "plates broke in the food". The people that ordered 10 minutes after us were just finishing their food and heading to their car. Coincidently, immediately after we asked about our food they brought it out. I asked how long it had been ready and she said one of the plates had been ready for about 5 minutes. Food was barely warm. The grilled fish in the taco was the size of my pinky, I literally could make a small burrito with the corn tortilla taco shell it came in. Chicken was rubbery and had tendons attached still. To sum it up: $50 for two plates of luke warm tacos and a drink, it was a glorified chipotle experience that took 10 times as long. Just an all around regretful experience. read more

We've eaten here two or three times, and each time it's been great! I get the chorizo con papas tacos and they are soooo good. I crave them every weekend. They come with potatoes that are pretty good! The staff is always helpful and doing their best. They have a less traditional way of service for a restaurant. You have to order at the register, then they bring the food out to you. It doesn't seem like they have servers, but they do run your food and drinks to you once they've been prepared. They get pretty busy on Sunday morning. The owner/manager, not sure what's his exact title, but he's great. Very friendly, attentive, and always helping his staff. He seems to be a great leader by the way he contributes and does what the rest of the staff does. They have two tvs by the bar that are usually playing sports. My husband loves that! We're in town for vacation and chose Seis for carry out because it was near our hotel. Everything was so good we went back for dinner the next evening - and it was even better in person! The burritos are flavorful and HUGE. The taquitos are probably the best I've ever had. The fish tacos are the best we've had outside LA - this is a topic my wife has strong opinions about. I'm pretty disappointed we loved there chorizo breakfast burritos and drove there to find out they changed there hours.
