Great chips and salsa - especially the 'hot,' and love the adobo! You order at the counter, but otherwise, there are still wait staff that come and check on you throughout the meal - don't forget to tip; I wish there were an easy way to tip afterwards, rather than only before at the counter - next time, we'll have more cash with to better supplement afterwards. Looking forward to our next visit - if we didn't live so far away, I'm sure we'd be there at least once a week! read more

Food is pretty good, however after waiting in line for quite some time, we ordered and confirmed several times by server/cashier we wanted two "El Jefe" burritos, one with mild salsa and one with medium salsa. We also tipped 20% not really paying attention to the total. Only one burrito was delivered, with both med and mild salsa. We advised it was to be two burritos. They conferred with the cashier and she came over to the table and said she was sorry, she thought it was only one burrito and proceeded to ask for our card. Which we obliged. I felt that it was in poor taste, after tipping 20% and having to wait for the food we originally ordered. Considering the tip on just one burrito plus drinks was $5, and the burritos themselves are $9, it just seemed like we overpaid for the service received. Won't be tipping in the future until after the transaction. read more

We went at lunch time. Seis Kitchen in Oro Valley is pet friendly so we sat on the patio. I ordered the fried avocado tacos with black beans. I'd never heard of fried avocado and thought I'd give it a try it was delicious with great flavor. My husband had a grilled shrimp burrito. It was enough for 3 meals. The shrimp were large, tender and flavorful. We ordered the churro dessert which had 6 mini warm churros with a caramel sauce. A perfect end to a great lunch. read more

Came in and made sure that the place wasn't crowded. After ordering our food, we ended up waiting over 50 minutes till we got served. As much as I like Seis Kitchen'S food, I will not step a foot in there on Saturday night (or any other night at this particular location). read more

Love both the food and location! Becoming a regular here to meet up with friends for lunch or dinner. The tacos and beans are so good here. Love Mexican food so I really enjoy stopping by here. read more

Made a recent first time visit to this restaurant. I was highly impressed. Casual atmosphere with nice patio area. Easy to order at walk-up counter. I ordered crispy avocado tacos with beer batter coating. OMG these were great. I don't know of any other restaurant that serves anything like these. The staff hustles serving the food. Plus they were very attentive even after the food came out. I will be back. read more

Taco Bell with a really nice place to sit and a bar. Canned cheese on the nachos, that says it all.

This location is meh. Burritos are MASSIVE, and they can't seem to use enough plastic at Seis, environment takes a back seat to profit. Food is very good. Service is what you would expect . read more

A perfect place to eat after a hike! Near the beautiful Santa Catalina mountains in Oro Valley! Seis Kitchen has a extended menu breakfast, lunch and dinner! We checked out two other places before we landed here. And we are so glad we did! I had the Chicken Tinga and the Poc Chuc Street Tacos. Honey had the Taco Combo Plate with Poc Chuc, Fish, and Birria tacos. We got a side of Cilantro Rice. Yum. Yum. YUM!! The crispy fish was our favorite (crispy on the outside, flakey and thick cut - not greasy at all!), and the Poc Chuc was a close second! The ambiance was delightful. Although most of the tables were full we could still carry on a nice conversation. Service was great. We hope to return soon! read more

Arrived between the breakfast and lunch menus. Never had a restaurant stop taking orders or serving during changeovers. After 15 minute wait in line with no idea when they would start serving again, I left and will not return. read more

Steer clear unless you have a LOT of time to burn. For our party four on a Friday at around noon, it took nearly 30 minutes to get our drinks and then an additional 25 minutes to get our food. The food was fine but getting it felt like a rite of passage. I'd definitely recommend this place to people I don't like. read more

This place has great food and staff are friendly & helpful. I went with a friend and we had a really good time and both enjoyed our food immensely. I'll definitely be back! read more

WHY WHY WHY...NO more breakfas??? We came here at 9:30am to a sign on the door that hours have changed. When I googled to see if they were open before we left the house it said OPEN. Please update your info via Google search. Sooo bummed they are closed for breakfast now. What a major disappointment man. read more

Food was dry. The clientele here is a bit uptight for me. It's expensive for a DIY place. You tip them and they bring your dry food out but that's IT. I want my tip back to give only to the busser, who was nice. read more

I'm so excited Oro Valley now has a Seis Kitchen. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy street-style tacos and take out of town guests. We went around 11am on a weekday and had one person in front of us to order. Service was quick and friendly. You place your order at the counter and the bring out the food to your table. My husband and I each ordered a variety of street tacos and margaritas (on draft!). Everything was delicious and up to quality like the other two locations. I love the openness of this location. There is a garage door that I imagine will be open when the weather is cooler. There is also a nice patio. Seis Kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their breakfast menu includes burros, tacos, and combo plates along with coffee, horchata, and mimosas. I haven't had their breakfast yet but look forward to trying it now that a location is closer to home. read more

Casual Mexican food with some nice touches. Parking is easy. The service is good. The food is tasty. The portions are huge. There is a full bar. The margaritas come out of a tap, but they're tasty and potent. There was a great blues musician performing when we were in on Friday afternoon. read more

I'm beyond excited to have a Seis near me. This place is beautifully decorated. Bright Orange chairs with black and white cushions line the inside dining area. They have small succulents in southwestern ceramic pots as table markers on each table. They have mister fans all around the outside dining area. They have plenty of seating for large groups. The food was delicious. read more

So glad to have Seis here in Oro Valley! The space is gorgeous and spacious and there's a lovely patio with a view of Pusch Ridge. We visited and enjoyed some delicious margaritas and split the nachos - so yummy and plenty of food to share. You order at the counter and they deliver the food and drinks to your seat. Our service was quick and the everything was delicious. The watermelon marg is one of my favorite in town. Welcome to OV! read more

The service is terrible. They said the wait would be 10 minutes but it ended up being 30.a family cut us in line. We didn't get any utensils and we had the ask. They made us wait 10 minutes to order plus waiting for 30. This is the worst. There are flies on the floor. Dead and alive. read more

First time here and I really enjoyed it! The decor is super cute and trendy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Can't wait to come back and try some more! Also! Great salsa!! read more

We hit Seis' newest location late in the lunch hour and didn't run into any of the hiccups in service time like other reviews mention. I really like the almost sweet pibil pork (still my favorite) and tried al pastor flavor of street tacos. My husband likes the zing of the chicken tinga ones. You can't go wrong with any of them and the flavors are beyond your every day street taco flavor. Each Seis location has its atmosphere vibe each with their (mostly) pros and cons, but their street tacos meet expectations each time! read more

Portions too small for relatively high prices. Used to go there fairly often, but not anymore.

Shared the street taco platter, steak. Spicy, delicious and all the things you want in a taco. Friendly prompt arrive and very clean and spacious. We enjoyed it very much! Thank you!! read more

Great food...every time! Spacious dining areas indoors, out or at the bar. Great staff!

A slick and clean concept. But tables are dirty and there is no service. The set up for when you arrive is confusing because you are supposed to go to an area to order but not real good signage. There is only a skeleton staff. Asked for burritos to be cut and they were not cut. Food delivered on plate but salsa spilled all over. No service but they ask for a tip. No reason to tip here as you do everything for yourself. Coffee is lukewarm and old at 10am. The view is excellent at the foot of Pusch Ridge. The burritos are decent. They could do so much more to create a special atmosphere but they seem to do all in their power to make things generic. read more

My poor husband keeps having a bad experiences here and had written this place off. We had gone a while back and they had run out of tortillas and didn't tell us until we had been sitting there a while waiting for our food. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of tortillas? They also denied making a drink for him at the bar because it was 2 minutes before closing. This was the same night so not a good experience. We went back another time and they forgot his order after we had been sitting there a while with a table full of friends eating. He wrote the place off: We decided to go back today and our entire table had their food except him. They brought his dish after everyone had finished eating so he took it to go. The server was nice and did apologize. They also had a line to order backed up to the door and had one register open so it took forever to order. They have 2 registers to utilize. The food that was served was good and they now serve complimentary chips and salsa which is nice and it tasted good. They still have some things to work out and my husband has just had some bad luck there. read more

This is the place for excellent tacos with a wide range of flavors. I love that you can mix and match the tacos. My favorite was El Pastor but they were all delicious!! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and that was so appreciated. Chill dining room with options inside and out. Highly recommended. read more

Excellent food. Get the birria tacos and nachos which has shredded pork. You won't be disappointed.

Great food, great service. We each had a mix of tacos, all delicious. Everything was very fresh, and not drenched in cheese or heavy (common in Mexican restaurants in the northern us). Highly recommend. read more

We're in town for vacation and chose Seis for carry out because it was near our hotel. Everything was so good we went back for dinner the next evening - and it was even better in person! The burritos are flavorful and HUGE. The taquitos are probably the best I've ever had. The fish tacos are the best we've had outside LA - this is a topic my wife has strong opinions about. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. Will come back every time we're in town, and I seriously want a franchise back home! read more

We are kind of starving over here in OV. I was delighted by this leveled up version of Mexican cuisine. The menu is simple but everything is slightly to much better than elsewhere. Great attention to detail and quality. Great salsas. Not inexpensive but the portions are large. read more

I used to love this place but after today I will never return again, the food came with nothing, it usually has salsa or other things, the taquitos I ordered barely had a hint of the seis sauce. The food was not worth what we spent on it. If you want genuine Mexican food with quality and consistency I recommend you go elsewhere. Last time I order from here again read more

2nd try and the same result. Food was lukewarm. Flavor was good, but they need to get the food out hot
