The gals at Parkway are all very nice & help suggest new treats if I'm looking to mix it up. My personal faves: California Brittle, Raspberry Hearts, PB patties, the Beverly, and anything marshmallow/Scotchmallow (especially the Easter eggs!) This is a small See's candy location loaded with all kinds of delicious candy. Today we had a lovely experience with Chris. He is very helpful and answered all of our questions. My favorite chocolates are the key lime truffle and raspberry truffle. They're so unique and delicious. They only allowed 4 customers in the store at once because of Covid-19. They do a great job being safe. Now you get your sample to eat when you get home , so no one takes their mask off. read more

I've been on the Dark Chocolate scene lately so I stopped in this See's Candy to see what they had to offer. I was fortunate because they had quite a bit to offer. I picked up a couple of their dark chocolate bars with almonds for $1.90 each and a large bag of their Dark Chocolate Balls for $7.50 which were absolutely delicious. The bars I already munched away at home after dinner and they were great too. I liked that they did not skimp on the crunchy almonds. I was pleased to see that the display also offered individual dark chocolate assorted mounds of joy. I was given a taster of one and it was great. I did not purchase any of the individuals this time around but it's great to know that they have them. Service was very friendly at the counter, but when they only have one person working, and you have a patron who can't decide what to include their box of dozen assorted chocolates, well the wait can be longer than it should be. read more

Damn...nobody has reviewed this Sees Candy yet? Don't mind if I do................... Sees Candy is by far the greatest candy in the land. If I could only eat one last piece of chocolate on earth, a Sees Almond Square would be it. I stopped by Sees after watching a movie across the way. The people that work at Sees are always super nice. Hell.....I would be nice too if I worked around all this great chocolate! Little known fact: If you work at Sees, you can eat as much candy as you want for free! JACKPOT! I can foresee a part time job when I retire ;-). My main choices are usually these: Almond Square (caramel base with milk chocolate and almonds). California Brittle (milk chocolate coated almond brittle for the most part) Almond Bud (milk chocolate coated almonds with buttery caramel) They always offer you a sample or two while browsing. Heck....even their own signature candy bars are named "Awesome Bars". You can do no wrong when choosing Sees. " Wide Variety Of Yummy Chocolates " I went to the See's Candies Store in the Parkway Plaza Mall to redeem a Christmas present of a pound of chocolate. The store is so clean and spotless and is very organized. They have a very wide variety of chocolates and even have sugar -free chocolates if you need them. I absolutely love See's Candies. I have been a fan as long as I can remember. They offer a wide variety of different chocolates so there is something to suit everyone. They even offer pre-packaged sugar free if you need it. My all time favorite are the scotchmallow and the almond square however this one is now only a limited candy and only available at select times of the year. Also, who doesn't love the lollipops. This store in particular is a very nice store. It's always clean and the workers are very friendly. I've always been offered a sample as soon as it's my turn in line and when I or my son haven't liked the sample they always offer another. On our last visit we bought about 6 boxes of chocolates and the lady helping us was wonderful. My son even saw a chocolate he wanted and she stopped for a minute to give him a chocolate he wanted. See's has always been my favorite candy even though it's gotten a bit pricey it's always been worth it. However the last couple times that I've stopped in to get a little bag of deliciousness I've been disappointed I found it the creamy centers tend to be dry they don't have the same flavor they don't have the same consistency the product is gone downhill. That is so sad See's is really the only candy shop around and I have higher expectations of them. I hope corporate sees this because they really need to re-evaluate what's going on with their candy I doubt if Mary sees would be too happy with the product now read more

Went into the El Cajon store and they refused service to a person who has a disability, violating the Americans Disability Act, because couldn't wear a mask. Tried to inform them that there isn't a mandate or law for the masks. They didn't care. Won't be giving them our business anymore. read more

Time to send out our gift boxes! Stopped by for some holiday gift chocolates. My grandparents adore the See's peanut brittle and only get it around the holidays, so we like surprising them with a large box randomly in the off season. I still favor their chocolate bars with toffee nuggets, you might be familiar with them from school fundraising, they are located at the register. I normally don't favor when the texture of the chocolate is broken open up, but the toffee chunks encountered in the See's Milky Classic Bar is not unwelcome with its uniformed squares they dissolve easily with a bite. Their fruit theme truffles were most appealing to me this time specifically the lemon, blueberry, and strawberry flavors. The candy associate was kind and happily suggested flavors when putting together assorted truffle boxes, her pleasantries were as sweet as the candy. Watch out for this see's candy. My mom went in there at 11am on valentines day. An hour after they opened and they were completely out of sugar free candy. All they had was chocolate bars and peanut brittle. I called to complain and they said "well maybe they sold out" I said so they sold out the first HOUR you were open on valentines day? So you did not make sure you had enough? WOW....so then JOHNNIE the lady at corporate tried to pacify me by sending me free chocolate and told me please try the store again, so we went in one morning and we were the ONLY ones in the store, after we came in some people came in after us and went up to the glass. We waited and a lady came out and asked the two girls who came in after us " would you like a sample how can I help you" I was like WOW and then the lady looked at us and said would you like a sample? I laughed my mom asked "do you have sugar free this time?" The lady said yes I think we have a box left...I said are you SURE you dont want to help the people who came in AFTER us? SHe said oh well no what do you need? My mom said you have any sugar free milk chocolate bars? the lady said we only have the single ones up on the counter. So I said ok so no chocolate yet again.I then said..I will be calling your manager in regards to you all not helping the FIRST person who was IN LINE...and she said "my manager is here you want to talk to her? So I said yes, she had an older lady come out...ALL she did was stand there with her mouth wide open. The two girls who were there kept whispering about how they could get more samples and that I was a bitch and NO ONE told them to stop so I told them to stop and that I thought it was funny how the lady comes out and instead of Asking "ok who was FIRST" she just takes the first people she sees who are ONLY here for samples. The one girl said noo I have money and she took out what looked like a folded up dollar bill. I laughed. THe manager STILL did not say anything.the employee said "well I didnt see you I only saw them" I said YOU did not look....bad customer service...and then the manager told me..Leave and dont come back..so I took the sample I had and I threw it on the floor and let the business......THIS is a bad store...they are RUDE and dont know ANYTHING about CUSTOMER service and they have a woman who is older then dirt as a manager who says NOTHING when she is requested by a customer!!!!!! read more

I love See's candy. Yesterday I visited this location at approximately 11:30 am. I heard the clerk / sales lady sniffling but thought nothing of it at that time. At the end of my sales transaction I noticed the clerk was still sniffling and used her index and middle finger to wipe / dab under her nose. As I moved to the side to gather my things, she helped another customer without washing and used her bare hands (holding a wrapper). But the contaminated wrapper was put in the bag with the "clean" candy. Not only did she wipe her nose, she handled the register and my cash. Flu season ??? Dirty money ??? Health department ???
