SEE helped resolve the issue no questions asked, with no extra pushing to sign up for an appt, or browse their offerings. Out of curiosity, I asked about their origin and where they source their frames, and was pleased to hear they were based in Detroit, MI and sourced boutique frames from around the world. I've been going to SEE for my optics for a few years now, I started while I was in Los Angeles when I found them in The Beverly Center, and wanted to continue with a new pair of prescription Sunnies, I was getting tired of my only pair I had. So I called up SEE and went to work with the representative Matt, who was a down to earth, easy to work with guy in regards to getting the sunnies made that I was looking for, I told him I didn't live close to this location but I knew which frames and color tints I wanted for my glasses. So he said to text him, which I did, and we went over the details for making the glasses. I showed him the styles I was interested in, he told me what was in stock or could be ordered, they had my prescription on file, and we talked about which ones would work best for me. After working it out, a few weeks later the shipment came in, and then it was shipped to me, and the shades look great and I can see perfectly through them!! I am so in Love with this place!! I am so happy I was recommended by my co worker to come here for my new frames! This Gem is located right in Williamsburg on Bedford Ave. The staff at See are super friendly, and help you so much finding the right pair you are looking for as well as what fits you! I had the pleasure to have Corrine help me find my new pair! This location also has a ophthalmologist, one great tip before you go, make an appointment, it makes things super smooth so you are scheduled with the doctor and can do everything all at once! I love the fact that they always have great sales going on, and very inexpensive frames. I also found out through there staff that the company only makes a certain amount of each frames and makes different designs so there customers can always have different choices and frames and will always be original! Dr. Lingard is super sweet and amazing! I purchased my new frames from here and this I must say will be my new go to place for my new glasses! It only took them 9 business days to get my glasses in. They also give you an option to have them delivered to your house for a fee, or to another See lova Only down side is the parking cause it's on a very well knows street. Found out that my sunglasses arm got bent, and as i walking pass the store, which looked super neat, i asked Hailey, who attended the shop weather it can be fixed. After 3 minutes the glasses were just like new. And although I didn't bought it in the shop she said with a smiling face that its free from charge since its such an easy task. Just like that! Heard about a new store that sells affordable glasses for those in need from the mrs. They have two locations in Brooklyn, one located in Coble Hill and the other in Williamsburg. The one I visited is the Williamsburg location. The first time I visited you can see the variety of glasses as soon as you walk through the the door. From your typical square and rounded frames in an assortment of colors and designs to the more recent styles such as pentagon shapes. They also have a section specifically just for sunglasses if you're interested in prescription sunglasses. Another thing that SEE does is that they switch up the collection every couple of months. So its never the same frames over and over. That thing that makes SEE great to me is their affordable prices on frames. In a lot of places you pay huge amounts for frames then on top of it you pay for the lenses and the assortment of dIfferent things you can put into your lenses such as ting and transition. They also have an in house ophthalmologist on specific days for those who don't know their prescription or who needs a more recent eye exam before purchasing their glasses. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They will sit and do their very best to work with you to ensure that your experience is a great one and that you leave happy and satisfied. Affordability and SEE will be my go to on prescription glasses for the foreseeable future and if you're in need of new glasses stop in and take a look around! read more

I surely would recommend this business for the stylish frames that come in an array of shapes & colors. The staff are helpful & the manager, Matt, is charismatic; but don't forget, he is a salesman. Matt reassured me I'd be happy with my new frames / lenses. This wasn't completely the case. I'd suggest anyone seeking to purchase progressive lenses to be wary. In my experience, both pairs of progressive lenses I purchased were off, specifically the reading portion. I had to repeatedly go back to my Dr. to check if the Rx was done correctly. Definitely a time suck. It was revealed -multiple times- that their lab made the lenses improper. Once even the transitions aspect was wrong, but they corrected that without hesitation. Ultimately I was stuck with two pairs of eyeglasses that were imperfect. I have to live with that. (In fairness, I have gone through this before w/another company. It's a process, only last time they got it right.) Since progressive lenses are costly, as are ophthalmologist visits, & loss of time, I'd suggest comparing my bitter-sweet review w/other reviews from ppl who bought progressive lenses from SEE. I have to say I loved the store and the product, all their glasses are made in limited quantities which I think it pretty cool. I'm rating this a 3 because of employment. I was helped by Michael who was a treat when helping me pick out glasses but when I decided I didn't like them and returned them he was extremely rude and told me returns aren't even accepting but he'll do me the favor this one time. I understand returns go against your daily takings (as I work in retail too and returns aren't always going to put a smile on your face) but he made it so awkward and uncomfortable I didn't want to be there any longer and he proceeded to act very strange and it was very clear he was not happy with my return.
