Apparently, the national number gets kickbacks when they circumvent the phone calls to them, and they charge significantly more than Alren at the Plano office charges. Like a LOT more. So, if you call their local number, make sure to ask the full name of the representative and where he/she/they are at the moment. Or just ask for Alren. He will take good care of you. The place is SO clean and new and climate controlled. It's the nicest storage center I'd ever seen, and the local staff there is exceptionally nice and friendly.

We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. In short, highly recommend!

If you're looking for a dedicated wine storage facility, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My…read moreexperience was disappointing from the start. The monthly pricing seemed to change every couple of months, and the locker sizes are awkward and not particularly well suited for storing wine. Access is another major issue. Getting in and out of the facility is cumbersome, especially when you're carrying multiple bottles or cases of wine. Overall, the wine storage area feels like an afterthought rather than something that was intentionally designed and properly managed for wine collectors. The tasting room was also disappointing. While you're shown a tasting room, members apparently don't have access to actually use it, and the overall setup is strange and not very inviting. For a facility specifically offering wine storage, I expected much better attention to the practical needs of wine collectors.

The rent goes up fast!…read more The facility was clean and easy to access. The rate for the 5x10 unit was $51/month in August 2024 (after a $41/month introductory rate for three months). They increased the price quickly. In May 2025, they raised the rent to $66/month, and they just notified me that on February 2026, the rent would increase to $86/month. That's a 30% increase every 9 months, a 70% increase in a year and a half. I'm moving my stuff out before the next rent increase goes into effect. If I were to do it again, I would only consider Public Storage for short-term rental (less than a year).

I really like that management lives onsite & is always very friendly. This location is clean and well lit. The downgrade in the star rating has to do with how the price jumps drastically and often. In fact, Paige called to let me know that my account was not on auto pay (I thought I had set it up but that was something else). I was so happy she called!! After that it was plug and play. I ended up doing the unit longer and when I came out I was half expecting to maybe have some type of issue with maybe bugs or you know just regular stuff it was inside and air-conditioned but I figured there's gonna be some thing you know since it has been so many months. Everything was great for him as far as what I can tell if anything changes I will come back and update. This was one of the most positive experiences not only from calling around other places, but pricing, location and cleanliness. The biggest and most impressive part was when they cut the lock for me because I had left the keys in another state.
