Brought a ignition blank in over a year ago for a 1980's era car. The guy did a great job and knew…read moreexactly where the other key maker had messed up. Outstanding! No problems and worked how it should in all locks on the car. Brought in the exact same blank bought from the exact same supplier bought at the exact same time and this go round it was messed up beyond all measure. A complete and total screw up. The keys look no where near the same and didn't work. Obvious from a mile away. Returned the next day and first thing out of their mouths were "We cannot guarantee keys bought from somewhere else will work and these keys are different." I assure you they are not they were exactly the same. I have a masters in sculpting and bachelors in painting and drawing. I know how to look at objects and manipulate them in space. And when they couldn't get them to work I was told, "You need to change all your locks and ignition switch replaced because it's an old car. And that's going to be expensive if you can find someone to do it'." I guess they thought I am some sort of idiot. Because the first part f this review paints a much different level of responsibility and craft. I did receive my $3 it cost to have the keys made out of the pocket of the original man who made the key and not from the guy throwing smoke in may face with the above comments. And I am out $20 for the cost of the car branded blank. And to add to that I brought in a small lock core to be keyed and was given back a super slender key and told this might break off and guess what? It did and it's still stuck in the lock. Seventeen more dollars of bad key making. They asked what they could do for me and they offered a new non-branded blank but at that point and I was so pissed I just left because I needed to vacate that train wreck. Sometimes it's best to walk away fast and definitely never return . . . ever.

Everything in the beginning was professional until this last encounter. He lied and told me that he had to go and get me a key from the Kia dealership because he could not find a key and could not make the key and that I need a OEM key and then went up on the price on me after giving me the key and me paying him $280 after he changed the price I've been having issues sitting out in 100° temperature for the last couple of days! He was taking too long. I ended up finding a spare key. He never contacted me back said he was waiting for me when we originally spoke that he was going to come the following day then he ended up in a whole other city. I missed clients that were very unhappy about appointments that were important. I told him about it. He did not care. I asked him to reprogram my spare key that I had to go and search for because he was taking too long to get back to me after paid him, but you are taking new jobs which I think is unfair to the customer! I was very nice and polite with him! I continue to text and call him and he continue to read my messages and ignore them as well as the phone but act like he wanted to care and was concerned and wanted to resolve the matter and us happy customers come today he tells me he orders another part. I told him yesterday that I wanted to refund him back the defective device that he sold me that he told me was from Kia and that was a EM key that was actually a aftermarket part come to find out I believe you should let the customers know that they have aftermarket parts if that's the case but you charge me more because you told me it was the actual key from the dealership and it was a OEM key because he was having problems and could not get it done so he had to go elsewhere to get a key, which was at the dealership to inconvenience me days in the heat and I told him I feel that it's only fair if you charge me for a defective fob and I had to go out of my way to go and find now I just need you to reprogram it and you can take your key back. The defective key that you gave me sold me charge me for a reprogramming a key I had to go and get because he was taking too long. I think it's only fair that you refund the difference instead of charging me a full price of a key fob that is defective that you should return especially if I am a returning Customer. I asked him repeatedly what time so I can let my clients know he repeatedly ignored my calls here I am waiting and it is 8 o'clock at night. He went to go pick up a key that he ordered and tried to throw it in my face of the distance that he had to go to get the key but you gave me the defective key am I the in the wrong and I'm spending $280? Not only that when I ask for the difference in the refund, he got smart and rude and said absolutely not that is not the way you treat customers than I will never ever use his business. Or services and I will never refer anyone and I will tell anyone to never services because he doesn't care once he the money and once I told him I was stuck outside for 45 minutes every time I did talk to him the times that I did get to talk to him before he started ignoring me he made it seem like he cared and was on his way, and he kept ended up in different locations other the bad part about it he says he stays down the I would think that you would take care of the that you sold the defective key and try to write your wrongs but this is why I don't deal with small businesses like this because they think that they can treat you any kind of way people that keep supporting their think that what they're doing is correct and that is the reason why they treat and I'm so surprised and disappointed because he seemed like a nice guy that's why I told him I keep him as my person I had other key jobs. I needed him to do but after this experience today from the last past two days this going on the third day waiting till 8:00 PM is horrible customer service and he was very rude over the phone. I asked my boyfriend to talk to him. He even ignored his calls well eventually answered, seem to talk to him differently when I have been the one dealing with nice with him, offering him and things of that trying to send Business his way, but I will no longer do that after what just happened when doing business you don't treat your customers that way I'm very disgusted with the services the sad part about I know multiple tire shops they use his services but they will no longer anymore after this just I will have them go to someone else before I have them go to someone that treats customers this way.
