I called Great Roger after finding out I needed to move ASAP. roger himself answered the phone and he was totally cool. He didn't try to pressure sale me into anything and we quickly arranged to do a move at 9am on Monday morning. A few days later I realized that some changes would need to be made so I called back and spoke with roger. I needed roger and his guys to come to my storage unit, then proceed to my condo to pack and load then to the new location . Roger and his team arrived promptly at 9:00am. They were beyond courteous and moved my storage items out ASAP. All of my items were securely packed up in the truck and the boxes that weren't well taped up were given an extra tape padding. When roger arrived at the 2nd location, they assessed all the items quickly and began moving. NOT ONCE during the move did they slam a large item against the wall. NOT ONE DING OR SCRATCH on the wall or any of my things. After they finished up there, they proceeded to the final location without a break. they arrived exactly at 1pm for the unload. they moved fast to get all of my items. packed into the pods. before They where to be picked up. i got to my new home in dc and said i cannot do the unloading, unpacking,moving things and set up the house by my self so i called roger and asked him if he would come to dc and help me, he said noproblo just like that. i knew he would say something like that. ZippGo rents you a certain amount of boxes based on how many rooms/square feet you are moving, and they deliver the boxes to your address, you use them for a move, and they pick them up at the new address. It was easy to schedule and make sure the drop off and pickup worked at an appropriate time. The boxes themselves are sturdy plastic, and the top interlocks so you don't need any packing tape. The boxes fit on top of each other which makes them easy to stack and move. You can also pick box inserts that are designed for plates and glassware which made it so easy to move these items. I would recommend ZippGo in a heartbeat- it made our move faster, easier, and more eco friendly too!

Even though their driver was already on the road, Sarah was incredibly responsive and quickly worked out solutions to get me what I needed in record time. Sarah and her driver, Javier's, dedication to customer service was truly impressive. That said, I'd recommend planning ahead rather than making last-minute requests like I did! Note that their drivers don't work on Sundays and Mondays, so be sure to schedule your box deliveries in advance. Next thing I knew a couple came in and this other staff member came out to help. He looks at me asks what I needed and then said that he can't do that. So I have to wait for the employee that's currently helping another individual. Unfortunately for me, the lady in front of me took a very long time. In that time, the line backed all the way out the door. I waited a good 30 minutes before I was helped. My process took probably about 5 minutes. The young lady that was helping me was friendly enough. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this definitely wasn't it. I think because they are such a small store. They get very busy very quickly, and there really isn't any room for anyone to stand so the line backs up out the door. And unfortunately, when one customer brings in 30 packages to send back, it makes it difficult and a longer wait time for everyone else. What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. I got such great support, help and assistance from all three employees in the UPS store, they even talked to Amazon on my behalf to make sure Amazon understood that I was in the store and stuck. This could not have gone better! From the very first moment, the entire experience went so much…read morebetter than any other move I have ever done. First, upon contacting them, the person I spoke with was polite, professional, personable and knowledgeable. They clearly communicated everything I wanted to know and let me know how to use the links to upload photos and video for them to create their estimate. Once they did, they sent me the estimate, which was more reasonable than any others I had received. And they called to confirm I received it and ask if anything was not included in the inventory of the items to be moved. I added one thing I had forgotten and they adjusted it by a tiny amount. And they made sure I understood the minimum amount and that, should it take longer than expected, what the maximum would be, which was still very reasonable! Once I decided to choose them, their professional staff communicated with me at each step along the way, confirming dates and times were set, and making sure I knew what would be included and what to expect on the day of the move. They even called me, just to let me know that the employee who had done my original intake have moved to another job and introduce me to who would be handling my details going forward. As the move approached, I got a reminder message a week out, another as the deadline approached to add any last-minute items, and a phone call 3 days prior to make sure everything was all lined up and ready. On the morning of, I got another text letting me know that the movers were 45 minutes from arrival, which put them exactly on time...and that is precisely when they arrived! Paco and Jerry were our movers that day and were terrific - professional, helpful, careful and absolutely delightful people! Upon arrival, I met them both and we did a walk-through to make sure they knew exactly what needed to be moved and what was staying. Paco took me through and made sure if I had any questions as I signed the final paperwork. As I started that, Jerry immediately got to work...and he was FAST! By the time I walked in things were already getting securely and carefully wrapped and ready. Paco joined him and they completed it in record time, even making sure to organize things into the order they wanted to move them off at our destination. I headed to our delivery location for final preparation. And they were there before I knew it! They sent a text when they left the pick up location to give me their ETA, so I could be ready. When they arrived, once again, a brief walk through to confirm where things were to go. And then they started moving at light-speed again! They were fast...and STRONG. I couldn't believe how easily they moved some of the items. But they were incredibly careful and considerate as well. I had no concerns at all about any damage to items or my home. They finished right on time. After double checking, everything was in pristine condition, like it had never been touched! Clean and safe. As they finished on time, we did final signatures and they confirmed that there would not be any need for an increase over the minimum amount we agreed to. If you read this far, I am guessing I don't have to tell you, but I HIGHLY recommend this company and will most definitely be turning to them if I ever am moving anything anywhere again!
