He starts programming my keys and then comes and gets me because the door latch broke after he used the new key, ( I took my car in just a couple of days ago to a mechanic to have a full check up and he used our key and had no problem.) I come out and he had taken my door apart and told me which part he broke and said he would charge me $238 for labor to install the new part. Also, I would have to go to the car dealership and buy said part. So he broke my door and gave me a quote on how much it to cost to install. After I came home we called and spoke to him again and he said he didn't break it and that it is our responsibility to fix it. But that he can still install the new part for $238. He gave me no warning when I went in there that this is something that could happen. If he had told me that I would've said thank you for your time and I would've left the store. I left a message with the store manager but have yet to hear back from him.

Alarm Works was the 6th company I called. I'm really glad reached out and made contact with them. Matt came out to my home and actually spent time walking through my home/property and thoroughly explained everything to me. He explained about the equipment quality, made recommendations as to where cameras should be placed and really explained the system to me so I could clearly understand what he was talking about. When he and his crew came out to install the system everyone was extremely helpful in explaining what they would be doing and were very respectful to me and my home. They were very careful and cautious while working in my personal living space and did an outstanding job of cleaning up after themselves. Matt took time to make sure I understood all the components of the system, the key pad, camera monitor, recording device and downloaded the apps to my laptop, phone, and I-pad.

The pros at Connect&Protect are the real deal!…read more I wanted 24h security cameras installed and evaluated a few companies and pros. Here's what set them apart: - Responsive and generous with advice on my home security needs even before hiring - Flexible planning and open to feedback. We had a good plan after an initial walkthrough, but even as I changed my mind a couple of times, they were open to discussion and iterating on a final plan with me - Competitive pricing The actual install itself was impeccable. High quality drilling, great wire management. If I had hired a handy man, this is where the work would have ended. But we ran into a complication with networking and the pros at Connect&Protect were able to effectively troubleshoot and fix it. It was a great experience end-to-end. It's clear that the folks at Connect&Protect cares about their customers and truly enjoy their craft. Highly recommended!

I booked this company in early June through an app called "Thumbtack" to install cable drops from my router to my office. After not hearing a response for a couple of days, I should have taken this as a sign, but I called the company to see what the hold up was. My phone call was returned-- and after a polite conversation with the owner, Khalil scheduled me for the 28th of June. between 10 am - 7pm. After about 12 noon, I didn't get a call from anyone so I called, and they said they would see where the tech was, and would call me back. After a few hours, I got a call back from the company and they told me they wouldn't be able to make it-- but had an opening on the 4th of July, and they could get me in. I was skeptical with it being a holiday, but they assured me that they would be there. Well, the 4th came and went, and not only did they not show up, I couldn't get in touch with ANYONE to figure out what was going on. The following Monday, I was called by the company after I left a message to figure out what happened. The owner eventually called me back-- and he apologized profusely and gave me some discounts to things and promised he would reduce my price. I gave him the benefit of the doubt.. (I know) But said he could be out there on Friday, July 18th. Between 10-5pm. As you can probably see, by noon, I got a message from the owner that he was stuck at a job and if he couldn't make it, could we change it again to 22nd of July. I told him that if he couldn't make it, then I would want a refund. I decided to cancel as it continually shows that I am not a priority. I was promised that I would be the first customer first thing on the 18th, but it has shown that he has put me on the back burner again. I also had to call each time, and it took forever to receive any service. I would highly suggest anyone considering them to read this post and be aware. I am currently waiting for a refund that was supposed to take 2 weeks, but they offered a cashier's check, which I accepted. Please don't book this company for any work if you value your money or your time.

Adding two more stars but there's a quick story behind the change. I again called the offshore call…read morecenter--who admitted they had no way to transfer me to a supervisor "in the States" so I asked for corporate headquarters phone number. Of course I was given the wrong number which was also the wrong state. A quick search gave me the actual corporate headquarters office in Florida. Called the phone and got myself in the right queue. The call was answered by lady in help center support--customer relations. What does it say about any U.S. based company that they only way to get real customer service IS TO CALL THE US-BASED CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT? A very sad commentary on how low these companies place quality customer service below profits. But the lady did expedite the return of the long lost install tech who finished the job the following week. And thanks to her I got a call from an extremely friendly and helpful tech support guy named Anthony who walked me through the basic features and use of our new security system even though we were over an hour on the phone. Anthony requested that I fill out the survey on him which I'd get after our phone call. Still waiting, Anthony. I mentioned the missing survey to customer relations lady and got no response. But she did make two follow up calls to verify that both tech support and the equipment install had been done. That was nice. So if you're reading this review, Anthony, I'd give ADT five stars if all its customer service staff provided your high caliber of service and were all worked out of offices located onshore.

STAY AWAY FROM ADT AT ALL COSTS!!!! STOLE $5,000 FROM MY 80-YEAR-OLD MOTHER…read more Four weeks ago, I decided to have a security system installed on my mother's house, she is 80 years old. I called ADT and told them that all I wanted was sensors and cameras installed on the front and back doors. I was quoted over the phone that this job would come in around $200 plus monthly monitoring fees. I agree and set a date for install. I could not be there for the install. The installer (ADT Tech) ended up installing motion detectors, perimeter cameras, fire alarms, window sensors (installed on windows that don't open, and you can't even get too) and charged my mom $5,000+. During the install my mom told the tech that she didn't believe her son ordered all of this and that she didn't want all of this. The tech told her oh no this is what you son ordered, and this is what you need. Which was a flat lie! For the last 4 weeks I have been calling ADT to get this corrected and my mom's money refunded to her. I have called twice a week for 4 straight weeks. Each time being told that somebody who could help me would return my call. Finally, I drive to ADT Tacoma off of north 9th street. I was told there by Brad Wheeler (General Manager of Operations for the Pacific Northwest) that he couldn't do anything for me. Really? He proceeded to tell me I needed to contact Nick Gayman a 3rd party installer as he was in charge and who I needed to talk too. I spoke with Nick, and he said I needed to speak with account management to get this fixed, which is who I spoke with already twice a week for the last few weeks. I have never been given the run around so much in my life. I even told them I would keep the equipment I ordered and continue the monthly monitoring service. I just wanted them to do what was right and remove the equipment I didn't order and refund my mom her $4,800+. But apparently nobody at ADT is capable of making the situation right. I am sure this isn't the first time this has happened and wont me the last. I will continue to make this right and won't be going away. Next stop BBB.

This review is long overdue, but honestly, it feels even more meaningful now!!…read more On Halloween, we experienced a burglary at one of our two businesses. Unfortunately, they got away with quite a bit, and we're still dealing with the fallout. In response, we made the decision to install new security systems at both of our offices through Robblees Total Security. I never thought in a million years we would need the system so soon... but just this week, barely two months later, our second office was hit. Thankfully, because of the incredible system Robblees installed, the intruders were on the property for only 24 seconds before realizing it was a lost cause. The police and our management were able to respond immediately, secure the building, and only lost a couple of hours of business - which feels like a miracle compared to what could have happened! The system works, plain and simple! I could not recommend it more! Beyond the technology, the people were phenomenal. Derek helped us navigate all the logistics, Dominick led the installations with support from Dillon, and every single person we worked with was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about protecting our businesses. I am sorry if I missed anymore team member names, you all were awesome! Sorry for the delayed review - but at least now I can confidently say: this system absolutely does what it's supposed to do! We are beyond grateful!
