We had one faulty electrical switch that crackled, one flaky electrical switch, and a flaky smoke alarm. Booking was very easy. Jessica is very responsive and Ryan called to park correctly. This was right before New Year's day and we got a prompt appointment for Jan/2. Ryan explained that replacing the switches and smoke alarms would be cheaper overall and more reliable in the long run. He quickly got the parts and installed them within a few hours. Since I mentioned I was a new home owner he made a point of asking me if I had any other questions or concerns and we discussed power surges and electrical grounding. He was meticulous and provided me with a detailed estimate, free of charge. A few months later we decided to move forward with the most important items on our list. A massive upgrade to my garage lighting, 2 x 20 amp dedicated circuits, 1 x 220 for my welder. In the house we had at least 20 lights replaced/upgraded and most importantly, my wife's chandelier that's been sitting in a box for 3 years was installed. All of the work was top notch. After a few bids we went with First Day and my experience was exceptional. Their bid came in where we thought it should have and they didn't use scare tactics to try and get additional business. Really great service! We had an awful experience with another company we found on yelp who came in and mounted our TV and devices. So bad we didn't want him to come back and hider he corda to finish the job. That's when I found First Day Electric. We contacted him about a quote for a new electrical panel and he came out a few days later to give us a free estimate.
