One word for this place... FANTASTIC! I go every 2 weeks like it's my religion! Sandy stays open late for me when I get of work! If that's not amazing idk what is! She's always on point! Sandy,Gigi,Lily,Gemma and the rest of the gang really make you feel at home. I LOVE the way they all do my nails. They are all so detailed oriented and will please you just speak up! I am so picky when it comes to my nails and I take 1000yrs to pick a color but they are patient and helpful! Loving and kind! Gigi kicks ass at doing my feet! Lily does amazing coffin nails! Loveeee this place!! I had to come here as an emergency before a trip because of a bad experience with another salon. My nail tech (I believe her name is Lily) was super patient and spent a lot of time correcting the mistakes of previously nail techs. I'd highly recommend it!

I've had trouble finding a nail salon close to work that I can get to on my lunch break, but I think the search is over. Vida (sp?) did a great job on my gel manicure and was very sweet. She didn't rush through it and nicely cleaned up my cuticles. My coworker recommended this salon and I do now as well. Only thing missing is maybe some background music. Offering water to customers would be a nice touch as well.

What a poor excuse for a nail salon... If you're not a regular here, don't bother coming. I came here on a Saturday as a walk-in. There was no one ahead of me but there were only two women working. I told them what I needed and the owner (Sandy) told me okay and the other woman told me I would have to wait awhile because there was only two of them. I was completely okay with waiting. About 30 minutes into my wait walks in another women (who apparently is a regular). She speaks to Sandy and asks her how long the wait is going to be to see her. She tells her it'll be about 30 minutes and so she had a seat. ONE HOUR into my wait, Sandy finishes and instead of taking me, she takes the other woman. I was pissed. I asked her why she skipped me if I got there first and the other woman clearly did not have an appointment. She told me that the second woman working was almost done and that she was going to help me. A few minutes later, another worker walks in and she takes me. If I'm being honest, it seemed like she had gotten her cosmetics license last week. Her inability to use the nail drills to take off my acrylics was dreadful. She kept burning my nail bed because she was being too rough and had the setting too high. She also spent 15 minutes removing my nail polish because she thought it was gel (even though no one told her it was gel and it definitely did not look like gel). I wasn't going to write a review and I was going to give this place another try. However, two days later, my nail polish is actually morphing into a completely different color. This has never happened to me and no it isn't a mood changing nail color. What's Secrets Nail Salon's little secret? An unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate owner, incompetent workers and crappy nail polishes. As I said earlier, if you're not a regular, don't bother.

I hate to write bad reviews but this is beyond me. I made an appt here on October 30th for acrylics. When I walked in the owner told me he messed up and forgot that the nail tech who does acrylics wasn't going to be in today. I understood, these things happened, and I said I'd still want a mani. I sat down w the tech and she told me that if I wanted length she would be able to do dip powder nails. I'd seen them on Instagram and was familiar w how they worked so I said yes. I picked my color, she told me these nails last roughly three weeks and an hour later I left w very pretty nails. That was on the 30th of October. On November 8th, not even a full two weeks later, I woke up and found my right middle nail missing. Just straight up gone. There was no time to get it fixed so I tried not to let it get to me. Then not even two days later the border of one started to chip. Last night, November 15th because I still haven't had a chance to get them fixed, another one just fell off. And this morning another. I've already made an appt at a different nail salon for this weekend to get a good manicure and fix this mess. This is not worth a single penny that I paid and I hope they fix whatever went wrong with my nails because this shouldn't be happening to anyone.

I am not from Florida and wanted to get something quick but nice! I called in for an appointment with Vida and was immediately helped! She not only was there to ask what I was looking for in terms of color but allowed me to try on a few options before I made my decision. She was a complete sweet heart and does such great work. Took the time to ensure everything comes out nice with my Shellac. Price was typical $25 for the mani. The nail shop was nicely cleaned and from what I heard it was newly renovated. Other services were offered but nothing for me at the time. But I would definitely go back!

This is my second visit and she did amazing both times! Will definitely be coming back

I called in at around 6pm and they were able to take me in. There was a little bit of wait but I would consider over all the service was good. They apologized and since I was getting my hands and a pedicure done, I stayed in the pedicure chair. The gel manicure was nice and so was the gel pedicure wasn't anything out of this world but the price was good $55.00 (this is without tip). I would definitely return. I noticed quite a bit of bad reviews and I unfortunately I didn't catch the name of who did my nails, overall good experience.

Nearing the end of my vacation; a serious gel manicure is needed before I head back home. I came across this nail salon and was satisfied with most of the reviews that I decided to give it a chance. Of course a day after a national holiday everyone is back to work so the salon was empty. I waited about 10min. The nail technician was friendly and did a great job at cleaning my nails. She took her time and they came out lovely. I honestly have no complaints; as a first time customer from out of town. Very pleased. The only con I have would be a personal preference: I'm use to a three - four coat of gel polish only because my nails are extra fragile.

I decided to try this place based on previous Yelp reviews. I was really disappointed though. Pros: I called while I was on my way & they had availability. Granted, it was 330 on a Friday and I'm sure most people were still at work. I was seated to start on my toes as soon as I got there. They were also friendly & carried a conversation while doing my nails. Cons: I really hated the way my nails turned out. The lady that did my toes answered a call on her cell while doing my nails & finished my toes while still on the call. I really believe she rushed to finish which resulted in her doing a shitty job at cleaning them. I had to tell the guy who did my nails to please clean them because she was already with someone else, and probably still on the phone. She also talked shit about the rest of the employees that didn't speak Spanish to her Spanish speaking coworkers in front of the clients. I don't think I will be returning and my search for a nail lady/guy continues. *sigh*

Tried a new place cause my lady was booked solid. Called to make an appointment for a gel manicure and they had one available on short notice. I asked for the price and they told me it was on special for 19.99. I thought that was such a steal. When I went to pay she told me it was 24.99. I asked why? The guy, Jack I think his name was said because I didn't get my gel polish done there before, and it was more work for them. I've never heard such a thing! I could understand if I got a regular manicure. I could care less about the additional $5 but don't advertise a "special" price if that's not the price. The girl doing my names was a sweetheart. But I had to coach her on the length of my nails. I don't want all my nails different lengths. I want them to be even. I had to keep pointing out which ones needed to be filed down. They also aren't completely even. There are a little lumps from there being too much polish. I won't be returning to this place. read more

Initially, I was pleased. But in 3 days, my acrylics have chipped and broken on 5 fingers. Don'tknow whether it's from bad product or technique. I'll update soon. have passed this place at least a thousand times, and came on lunch for a fill and polish with my own polish. So, coming on lunch was a bad idea. It wasn't busy at all (three techs all waiting for ME!), but because Jenny was METICULOUS with my fill, shaping, etc., I overshot lunch by a LONG stretch. However, I am pleased with every single nail, and she really took her time. If you don't speak any Spanish, and don't mind having another patron translate, then they will take good care of you. One area of improvement was that when I was on the phone - they seemed to get louder and louder with no consideration that I was on a call. They were having a casual convo, so they could've waited, and in fact another tech's patron asked everyone to be quiet because she was talking to her guy about lunch. The patron didn't have to ask - the tech just understood it was the right thing to do. I didn't get the same courtesy, but that will not stop me from going back. Everyone there was friendly and kind, and the price was much lower than I would've expected for such a thorough job. read more

Not the best! The lady that did my pedicure was extremely rough with my cuticles to the point I thought they were going to bleed. Worst massage I've ever had... not even sure if you could call it a massage? French pedicure was disappointing. Had to repaint the white tips twice because she just painted straight across and it looked horrible! This is like the Supercuts of nail salons. Tech seemed very inexperienced! read more

I couldn't make an appointment with my usual place so I saw this place at a close drive and scheduled a gel refill with a pedi. I arrived at 12:10 for a 1:00 appointment because I read some reviews on here saying the wait times can be long -- I had no problem waiting as long as I was called at 1:00. The woman greeting me was visibly annoyed by me showing up early even though I said I don't mind waiting. when she started doing my nails, she cut my pinky with the drill. Without saying sorry, cleaning the area, or maybe putting some gloves on because there was blood all over my finger, she put on some powder to stop the bleeding. It was after 1:00 and she continued working on my nails, another woman walked in and this is when she began rushing wit so she could go be with the other woman -- during my actual appointment time. I waited a week to write a review because I liked how my nails turned out and wanted to see if the results would last -- they haven't. Two of the acrylics are already lose and about to fall off. The gel polish is peeling. On top of everything, I paid $80 for crap service and below average nail quality, a price I don't mind paying at my normal place. Don't recommend at all read more

Terrible! Unacceptable! I went there once, the owner was there and the service was great! she is very nice! The second time it was great as well with Carmen, but the lady that answers the phone to give appointments is so rude!!! She has no manners and wouldnt give me an appointment, only told me to just go and they would do my daughters nails. She went today and they looked at her in a very disrespectful way and told her that they were too busy. Dont waste people's time! I have never gotten acrylic nails before (only gel and dip powder) so a customer of mine recommended this place and for the owner Sandy to do my nails. When I got to the salon, she recognized my name from over the phone and she made me feel as relaxed and went over the acrylic process with me. The inside is decorated nicely and it is a home-y environment due to the friendly staff. Not only did my nails turn out BEAUTIFUL, but she was very funny and kept me entertained. Although I live a little far, I will continue coming back here. My nails have never looked so good in my life, thank you Sandy!!! read more

Found X Nails due to amazing reviews so I came by on a Saturday for a gel mani and pedi. When i got here it was empty but it filled up quickly afterward. The lady who did my nails did a great job cleaning my toes up, I had a cute from a previous salon visit (not this one) that she was very careful with. The paint job was eh, I picked yellow and I get that some colors are difficult but this just seemed like lack of skill. My gel mani went the same way...the Lechat polish was being used and from the first coat it was completely uneven and she told me this brand does that but it'll get better by the end. In the end? I had streaky gel polish all the way up into my cuticles. She said it's happened with other clients, why keep working with the polish then?? I'd already been there two hours so I just left but I immediately got them redone the next day where I used an even lighter yellow polish and there was no difficulty in applying it so like I said, lack of skill. She was also trembling a lot and I'm pretty sure you need a steady hand for this line of work...3 stars because maybe it WAS just the polish but who knows. These amazing reviews are for Jack and Sabrina whose work IS impeccable. If you're going to visit, go with them. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The owner is the most unorganized person I've ever come across. Sandy has no consideration for people who have made appointments. She will turn you away like it was nothing even after having a phone conversation with you and setting an appointment. She is rude and inconsiderate. She also made a remark about my 13 year old daughter saying that she was too picky even after being loyal clients and spending over $150 on each visit. There is only one person who does Acrylic nails, therefore you will be waiting for hours at a time. Very unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON TO ANYONE. She accused me of being late but she already had 2 people in my place. Sandy just assumed that they were the people who called to make the appointment instead of verifying their names. Like i said, "UNORGANIZED and UNPROFESSIONAL. She turned us away even though we took an Uber to get there. As soon as she saw my daughter, she told me that she couldn't take care of us. That's Discrimination. Sandy you know exactly what I'm talking about. I work for a very large company in the Doral area and know a few girls that go to your establishment because of the convenience, but I will spread the word. Thank you but never again. read more

Everything was well the lady didn't add anything to my pedi water which I found odd my feet were just in water. It wasn't until after I got home my dip came completely off I had to glue it with nail glue at h and one of them tip and it hasn't been a week! Watch out! Also my lady was in a rush! I don't recommend this place also the dip color options aren't that great. If you like a long lasting mani don't come here. read more

First time here and I'm so happy with my nails! I'm pretty picky whenever I do French manicure, but Camren nailed it! I'll definitely come back. The only thing was that when I was there, there were only one person who spoke English and I don't know any Spanish. So it was a little hard to communicate. Other than that, SO good!! read more

I came back for gel refill after 2 weeks. Love the color. So classic and professional trend. Wicked in Essie....Jack is super fast in 20 minutes done for refilling. My nails last for 2-3 weeks. Can not beat that frame time. I often got my pedicure with Spanish ladies. They are good and friendly, but Jack is my nails man..... read more

I've been looking for a place in Doral to get a good gel manicure that lasts, and decided to check out X Nails due to foot yelp reviews. I received a warm greeting when I entered the salon and it was clean and orderly. I got my nails done by Carmen, who did a pretty good job with my mani pedi. She cleaned my cuticles well and did a smooth polish job. The only drawbacks I would say is that she did nic my cuticles while cleaning, and then used alcohol which did sting like hell. Also, I had to struggle to move my handbag and shoes with foil wrapped fingers, as she didn't offer to help me move them from the manicure station to the pedi station read more

I've been getting my nails & feet done by Sandy for close to 14 years now and have never had a problem with the service. I don't have to tell her what I want, she pays attention to details and always remembers what you like. Her shop is always clean and everyone is very friendly & helpful. If you are looking for a place to go to get your nails done, relax and have fun, then go see Sandy. She takes pride in her work...you won't be disappointed. read more

I found this nail salon on yelp last minute search. Also, I heard this place from my client. She got the gel, but I want to try the EZ Dip system. It is not harmful for your real nail bed. With almond shape done by Jack. It looked so natural and professional with wicked color. I am very happy with my nails , and will come back soon. Highly Recommend. read more

Waited 40 minutes after my pedi to get my mani and was told to wait another 45 minutes. This is a Saturday and only one person doing nails and they took another walk in before me for my nails. I spoke to the manager because I was afraid to let them continue damaging my nails. While they offered to fix it the next day, I canceled because I didn't trust them to touch my hands again. To make matters worse, when I spoke to them the following day, they claimed they 'don't do acrylics' there--a blatant lie considering their website ads and my booking confirmation. By Tuesday, three nails had already chipped and peeled off. A dip manicure should last weeks, not a few days. This is not "wear and tear." This is poor prep, poor application, and poor sealing -- a total failure of the service. I called and requested a refund, which is the only reasonable response when a manicure fails this fast. I was told to come back in for repairs. I explained that I was out of town for work and physically could not return. I asked again for a refund. I was then told Yani would call me. That call never happened. So instead of: * Standing behind their work * Honoring a refund for a clearly defective service * Or even following through on a promised call They chose to ignore the problem. I've attached photo evidence so there is no confusion. Multiple nails are lifting, peeling, bubbliand chipped just days after the appointment. Any experienced nail tech knows this is unacceptable for dip. What's worse than the bad manicure is the complete lack of integrity and accountability afterward. Promising a call and never following up is not a mistake -- it's a choice. At this point, I am asking for a refund for a service that clearly failed. If Venetian Nails decides to correct this and take responsibility, I will update or remove this review. Until then, consider this a warning to anyone who expects quality work or honest customer service.

I can not recognize the shop. it looks like a brand new shop that made me think I went to a wrong place. I talked to the new owner, he is so sweet and friendly. They have a huge collection of OPI, ESSIE polish. He helped me to pick out the color, and did my acrylic nails. it came out so beautiful and natural . I were so happy. My boyfriend loved it too. The price is so cheap too. My friend got her Gel Mani only $19.99 included the full manicure treatment. The Spanish employee did a great job in manicure, she removed all dead skin and polished very well. My friend's gel manicure came out really good too. I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is the most unprofessional and disorganized nail salon I have ever been to. The owner and the employees are extremely rude and gossip about customer as soon as they walk out the door, the employees look visibly annoyed when clients walk in, rolling their eyes and bickering back and forth over who's "turn" it is. My pedicure was was okay, however, she cut my cuticles too much causing me to bleed because she was rushing. The absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. The first time I went to this salon, the owner did my nails and she did a great job. The second time someone else did them and the results: acrylic chipped off one nail within a day. Second one chipped of a few days later. Third one a few days after that. And no, I didn't do anything crazy. I've had acrylic nails before and this has never happened. But I should've known. I'm pretty picky with nails and I've gone searching for countless salons that are 1) actually worth it and 2) look really good. I like my coffin shape thin but not too thin. Horrible service, nail techs are RUDE and unprofessional. They make jokes about other clients when they leave and talk very loud. I came to relax and ended up stressed and having to hear them talk and makes jokes the whole time I was there. I made an appointment for 2:00 for a full set and pedicure and had to wait almost 45 minutes for the nail tech to finish another customer and then eat her lunch after.
