Went as a group of 3 for dinner. Very friendly service and quick. It felt very homey and comfortable inside. Food was 100/100. Will definitely be coming back. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious.

Some people, when they think of family, they think of fast cars and ice cold coronas but when I think of family: family values, family recipes, I think of Thai punch and Secret Thai Kitchen on the Freeport Mile. You could probably find ice cold, coronas there too, and fast cars that drive up and down the Avenue but be sure to stop in to Secret Thai Kitchen where the portions are generous, the families love is evident in every bite of delicious perfectly made dishes. I TRULY LOVED THAT PAPAYA SALAD. I talk about that papaya salad all the time.

Mango sticky rice

Coach was a great server and the dinner was excellent. They have good happy hour deal. Would come back again and the place is quiet.

Secret Thai Kitchen is a great addition to the mile! They have wonderful service and a cute/cozy ambiance! I got the wings and egg fried rice super flavorful and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend coming here!

Cocktail variety is delicious and on brand. Coconut mojito is the perfect summer drink. Appetizers are so good too, even without meat. The canai with roti is a great appetizer and intro to massaman if you need one. Service is quick and the space is clean and spacious. Worth a visit for sure. Plus the ey have parking which is a major plus.

Our favorite Thai spot on the island. They have a huge menu. Items that you usually don't find at other places. This place is legit. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Love the Thai fried rice and the grilled pork. The pad Thai and pad see ew is fantastic. You have to order at least one curry dish while you're there. Amazing!! The service is always so good here too. They are top of everything. The food comes out piping hot, so fresh, and fast. Always always always save room for dessert. The mango sticky rice is generous and delicious. And for the nautical mile, it's great that they have parking in the back, so convenient! During off season it is really easy to find parking on the street out front too. Be aware, that like majority of businesses on the mile there is a high threshold step to get in the establishment. So those who need handicap accessibility, please keep that in mind.

Came here earlier in July after work and was definitely pleased. Ima start off by saying, I LOVE a good Thai iced tea!!!! lol. Everything was really good. The only thing I wasn't crazy over was the mango salad. I even enjoyed the dumplings and I usually don't like Asian dumplings. All around the service was great and I'd definitely come back.

I've been here for an event before and also ordered out from this spot. Located on the Mile the restaurant has a central spot on the strip. It's nice that they have their own lot for parking. There is also plenty of street parking as well. The interior has a lot of nice cute decor. The papaya salad is a good pick for something light yet filling. Very well balanced in flavors. The shrimp pad Thai was great. The shrimp were a nice size for the meal and you get you moneys worth. The mussels is another dish not to pass up on. The broth it was steamed with was light and flavorful. The mussels were cooked perfect and were very fresh. Portions are easily shareable with others if you do a family style. Looking forward to returning for more.

Definitely a hidden gem ! This is literally my favorite Thai restaurant in Long Island. The drinks are absolutely amazing, Now the food was ... trust me when I say chefs kiss ! Everything was perfect and came out very quickly. The lunch special was just what I needed, and the portions are huge. We left with a lot of food to go as well. I can't wait to come back.

Lobster Platter

Ok ok! I'll be back! I went for my bday dinner and got the platter. Everyone was looking at us like we were celebrities lol. I personally thought the lobster was an old lobster or it was frozen and the unfrozen and refrozen. So next time I will just get the snapper or the crab legs. Ambiance is cool I guess it was designed to eat and leave lol. I don't mind! I will be back!

The place is clean . They had great music . Great service . The server was awesome. The calamari was nice n fresh . The chai pancake was delicious.. the wings had an acquired taste but still good .. the chai ice tea was not too sweet .. . Calamari needed a little bit more salt .. .. omg the grill shrimp salad was nasty it was too salty for me like too salty I ate the shrimp but I couldn't eat the other stuff ... .. my friend love the noodle . Fried rice was ok a little but over cooked ...

Valerie R.

I'm so picky with Thai food and this spot is LEGIT! Ahmee and his staff are absolutely incredible- the recipes are passed down from generation to generation. The new dish, garlic pepper calamari is an absolute MUST! Highly Recommend!

Hello, I was a huge fan of your location in Astoria. Do you still have the Pa Lo (the pork belly stew)?

Hi! Thank you so much for the love and support from our Astoria days — it means a lot to us! We no longer have the Pa Lo pork belly stew on the menu, but we’ve added plenty of other delicious Thai dishes you might love, like Secret Thai Wings, Tom… Read more

I LOVE ramen, but sometimes miso broth can feel a little too heavy for me and leaves me feeling super full after, so I was so happy to see they had a light chicken broth ramen option and omg it was soooo good. I would 100% come back just for that ramen alone. My fiancé originally wanted the chicken curry, but there was a mix-up and the waitress heard fried rice instead lol. We decided to just keep it anyway and honestly... no regrets because he absolutely devoured it it was that good. We also shared the spare ribs and they were perfect. super tender, fall off the bone. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!

We ordered 3 appetizers: Chicken Kara-Age, Vegetable Gyoza, Creamy Croquette, 1 entree: Gyudon (Beef) 1 dessert: mango sticky rice Drinks: Japanese Beer & Lychee Mocktail We asked for plates to eat since we were sharing all the food and I'm forever on a diet and not eating much. The lady rolled her eyes and said why. I had to insist on receiving plates. There is a male server and he is the sweetest person and never an issue. There is a female server and she is consistently rude. The last time this happened i was with 3 friends and we asked for hot tea and the server waI said I won't go again but tried them again. Now I am really never going back.

We got the Kenko rolls, both were great! The peanut sauce it came with went great with the chili sauce on the table. The rock shrimp were like popcorn chicken in the best way, light, crispy breading, not oily at all. The filet pho was lovely, it's huge, tons of noodles, very light broth, ofc comes with the bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime - would recommend a pho and the fish bahn mi was also really good, the fish was really crispy but the star was the pickled carrot and radish side- so light and refreshing, went so well with everything!

Traditional bahn mi has pate. Their menu even lists it. They couldn't have run out. I've been there a number of times and they never once put pate in there. Last time I've asked for extra pate and the guy asked what pate was. Such a rip off. Then I thought, let me try their pho. Their broth was fine as a Chinese noodle soup, mediocre at best, but it was definitely not pho. The noodle they've used was also not what authentic Viet restaurants use for their pho. Too many failures. Too many tries. Never going back.

I was so excited to have my poke bowl with a side of a yummy bubble tea…read more The poke still bomb, fresh and a great portion. They have pre made bowls or you can build your own which is my fav! The place clean and cute and of course, packed and full of life. The staff upbeat and friendly which is what we love! Unfortunately I had to give them one less star for this rating (compared to my previous 5 star) because their bubble tea changed, not only their packaging but their quality. The cup felt flimsy, like if you squeeze too hard might pop the cover off, no big deal if the actual drink is great, then you bypass this BUT unfortunately this has to be one of the saddest bubble tea drinks I've had in a while. The drink was warm!!! Ugh, the ice was added last so therefore it melted immediately and so by the time it got to me, warm... I'm like ok I can add ice at home lol .. I had the mango and my boyfriend the peach. Both flavors were good, but both warm with ice is just not the same. We had it with tapioca bubbles and mango/peach popping boba. The popping boba was good but the tapioca pearls were SOOO HARD and a weird orange see through color so either they weren't ready or they were old! They were so hard they kept clogging our straw and couldn't sip our drink... everything about it was just a disappointment, I was so sad because I've been going there for years and I've loved their bubble tea and never had that problem! Anyway, go for food, skip their bubble tea.
