Service and food are both excellent, the venue is great as a local small business. We were both pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The sandwiches were fresh, carrots and cilantro were deliciously crisply. Meats were well flavored and nicely portioned. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more of the menu. Some people even had a noodle soup - pho for the summer I think it's too hot for me, but maybe next time I'll give it a go. Ambiance was chill, no frills diner type. Service: Professional, attentive and friendly! Ambiance: small cute, cozy and homie place. Food: I had the Beef Short Ribs rice box, which was marked as popular. It is very tender and soft, however not that juicy. The meat could probably use a tiny bit of seasoning or some type of sauce. Incredibly good pho...and, well, everything. The sliced beef pho is my go to. The broth is flavorful and delicious. The grilled pork bahn mi, pork buns, and rice plates are unreal. The vegetarian options are surprisingly excellent. The lemonade tastes like it was imbued with magic. Quick service, can pay at the counter or at table after eating. Their Bún is very flavorful and well portioned! I got the bún bò xa (pictured) with pho broth on the side. Separate occasion I got pho Tai. Good portion size and flavorful broth; they accommodate if you don't want noodles with bean sprouts as a substitute and I loved that they did that for me! Service: we did not dine in thus can't comment. Food: I can only comment on the bahn mi as that was all I ordered. After taxes it is roughly $15 a sandwich. To be honest its a sandwich and not even a hot meal. Makes me think twice about ordering a sandwich again. It tasted good enough. But im not running back for seconds at the current price point. Stumbled upon this place as my late night pregnancy cravings were kicking in.. was really craving a summer roll with peanut sauce and a banh mi.. everything was absolutely delicious, we got the garden spring rolls, tofu banh mi medium spice and tofu pho! Some of the best vegetarian pho I've had, better than these bigger name chain restaurants. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some good Vietnamese food, the people working were wonderfully sweet and never made us feel rushed even getting there at 830 and not leaving till 930 when they closed. Run don't walk to this new spot. Having traveled a lot in Asia, I've searched for amazing broth and I've finally found it. Honestly this spot was amazing - the broth was delicious, melt in mouth pork and beef, the veggies and herbs were fresh and crunchy and the service was spot on. The menu is small enough to know that everything is fresh and clearly was prepared and cooked in house and not bought from K mart frozen aisle and just fried. We will be back. Ordered via GrubHub for the first time last night and...HOLY SMOKES that was a good sandwich!! Not only did it get to Long Beach in under an hour, but the food was fantastic. I got the crispy pork banh mi and the avocado summer roll. The pork was tender and perfectly seasoned. A little sweet, a little tangy, and a touch of spice. Well fried but not greasy at all. It was loaded with shredded carrots and pickled daikon, thick cucumber batons, and a generous but not overwhelming amount of cilantro. Plus an ideal smear of mayo across a wonderfully soft and simultaneously crisp baguette. I asked them to add pate which I'm honestly not sure was actually included but I didn't mind because the sandwich was delicious as is. Thrilled to have this right here in Oceanside. Closest you're going to get to Brooklyn Koreatown bahn mi. If you're a fan of hancos or Henry's in BK, you will love this. The vermicelli noodle salad is delicious as well. Chicken is juicy and flavorful, the faux chicken is also a surprising star. The pork bun appetizer is outrageous - super tasty. I've tried their Banh Mi: crispy fish and grilled pork (good size portion and tasty). And we've also tried different Pho: grilled chicken, pork and shrimp. The broth is so good! And their bubble tea was delicious too! Clearly, we're returning again because we've visited more than once after our initial visit. The staff were friendly and efficient. Omg this place just opened a couple weeks ago and let me tell you I don't like going to restaurants that just opened due to past bad experiences , butttt I took my chance with this place because I have been craving authentic pho since I moved from Hawaii to the mainland . As soon as I walked in the door they greeted me and made me feel welcomed , my food came out in less than 10 minutes , I ordered honeydew boba as well and that even tasted like fresh honeydew , it did not taste like other restaurant bobas where they use powdered flavors ...
