Not quite sure why the overall rating for secret spot is so low as I've never had anything but a great experience here! Açaí bowls are to die for, and as someone who has tried many açaí bowls from different places I can confirm these are the best in the surrounding area. Sweet but creamy pure açaí base, amazing granola that is like a crushed nature valley bar, and amazing sweet fruit that is consistent every time. I've also had a few of their wraps and have never been disappointed by any of them! Must try if you're in north hampton. read more

I have to say, I was extremely shocked and disappointed when I saw the reviews here where so low. This place is definitely the best for acai bowls in the area and I have tried an acai bowl from everywhere stretching from Newburyport to Portsmouth not to mention the service is also great. The acai is perfect, it's a good sweet and thick base, the granola is to die for, and the peanut butter and fruit on top are also very fresh and good. The portions are very good and reasonably priced. I have also had the wraps and they are just as good. If your in the area you should definitely try it regarding some of these reviews. read more

Bland chicken breakfast wrap, and sour coffee. There are a few beach spots near by, beach plum for example. The other spots are better, I'll just go elsewhere. All beach spots are pricey so that was expected, but the brown eggs in my wrap where watery and flavorless. read more

The Haddock burrito was mostly Uncle Bens Instant Rice and had like maybe 10% Haddock in it. It tasted like water and Uncle Bens Instant Rice. The guy who cooked and handed it to me looked disheveled and obviously had no idea how to make a proper burrito. I've had 4$ burritos from hole in the wall places that tasted better than this garbage. Note to owner: Don't use Uncle Bens cheap rice in your burritos, it tastes bad and tell your chefs not make a burrito with 90% cheap rice. Before your burrito it had been ages since I tasted that cheap rice. Might be time to switch rice and teach your chefs not to overload your burritos with rice. Worst place to eat in all of Hampton. read more

Seriously the best food on Hampton Beach! I've had the buffalo chicken wrap, chicken salad wrap, and honey mustard chicken wrap and all were just right! Full of flavor and were nice and large! My kids shared a wrap and were full after each having half. I bought them each a whole one so now I have my lunch for tomorrow all set...SCORE! Definitely coming here for breakfast burritos and smoothies soon. read more

It's been great. Until today. I ordered a bbq pork burrito and got 80% rice and 20% everything else not including pico, which there was none of. The pork was also not bbq. I've got this burrito a few times before and it was great. Not so much the case today. Whoever the staff was today wasn't doing a very good job, as they also messed up the order in front of me twice. Consistency is the key to keeping people coming back. Four stars for now. It was five. Let's not go backwards. The spot is awesome and the smoothies are always good. read more

I'm impressed at how badly the screw up burritos and smoothies. Absolutely disgusting food - for example, the veggie burrito was a bunch of white rice, a few black beans, lettuce and tomatoes... and came missing the cheese and avocado. When I went back to ask for a change they slapped a cold piece of cheese and a little fake tasting guac on. So terrible. Poor hygiene (no one touching food was wearing gloves!!!), every thing we ordered across four people was terrible, and it's not as if they're cheap. Absolutely do NOT go here. read more

The server just pulled out the granola for my acai bowl with her bare hand. Ew. It would have been worth protesting if it hadn't been my third trip to the counter to fix my order. Seems pretty hard to mess up smoothies and burritos but the disinterested college student staff managed to do so on several items. The strawberry smoothie in particular tasted like sour dishwater. This review is based on service and the "açai bowl" I had. First, I know this place probably sees a lot of tourists (maybe some are obnoxious) but that does not mean you disregard all customer service. I grew up in Hawai'i, I know how annoying tourists can be, but if they keep business booming you should do your best to represent your business appropriately. The kids behind the counter acted as if I was inconveniencing them by placing my order of one item. I grabbed my order and walked across the street to eat. I was excited to finally dive into the treat I had grown to love back home in Hawai'i. The "açai bowl" was soupy, and had way too much syrup. The granola was almost inedible. I came in here on a hot day, 8 months pregnant asking for a cup of ice and the guy was super rude and clearly thought he was too cool... telling me you have to buy a drink if you want ice. Had he been courteous, i would have been happy to buy a soda (even though the only options were junky and full of preservatives). Solid spot to go for a post beach run lunch. Love the surfing photos on the wall. Had the Hawaiian chicken wrap and the portion was huge so the $6.99 price made it a good value. Not a whole lot of room if you plan on eating in (not to mention if the weather is less than ideal then you won't be eating in). Service was decent but not overly friendly but then again it's halfway through the summer season so tourist fatigue is probably setting in at this point. Water's are way overpriced and no soda fountain so again, that lends to this place being more of a order and take it home kind of place. I was sold the second I saw them peel an actual banana for my smoothie, then reach into the freezer for some frozen berries to add. REAL FRUIT! This place is awesome! Been wanting to try for a while and just did yesterday.. Had a breakfast burrito with ham and a Nantucket Nectar... Hot sauce and sour cream were nice touches... My wife had a breakfast burrito as well with bacon and an iced coffee... Service was great except understaffed at that time (830am Friday)... The kid worked his tail off but he was all by himself... Food was great! Perfect location because we just walked across the street to the beach and ate on the wall! Main reason for 4 stars is same reasons I gave Beach Plum in No Hampton 4 stars... Little pricey but that's what you get with tourist beach location so should be expected! But we will definitely go back! read more

I went a little after lunch time, and it was still packed and it looks like they get really good business. So, when I saw this place on google maps, I thought it was the same place as the Secret Spot in Sunset Beach, CA (which was my ALL TIME FAVORITE PLACE). Unfortunately, it didn't even compare. They had a lot of the same menu items, but nothing we tried was good. There wasn't any flavor in any of the things my boyfriend and I got. My burrito was supposed to have avocado-it didn't, it was supposed to be spicy- it wasn't, it was watery- a burrito? I think my boyfriend and I used at least half a bottle of hot sauce to give our burritos flavor. Oh, did I mention that they handed me my burrito and said, "This is the one without meat." I took a big bite and definitely got a mouth full of steak. The only thing I enjoyed was my smoothie. That was pretty good- especially on a hot day at the beach. read more
