This restaurant used to be Santorini's, which I never went to so I can't compare. Five stars for this new incarnation for what it is: a decent restaurant in a small town. Better than a diner but definitely not gourmet. Our party of eight ordered several plates off the $8 menu and each of them were good. The French onion soup of the day was delish! The service was great and the restaurant looked freshly decorated and was very clean. Glad we tried this place - we will definitely be back.

    Nice, updated interior.

Wonderfully prepared food, the service is great and it's the kind of ambience you want for a breakfast place.

Fine place for standard breakfast fare. Both prices and portions are decent.

Real talk: the burgers are no bueno. Overcooked & dry. Overcooked bacon, over fried fries.

They have a small selection of hot meals (couple paninis, lettuce wraps, and a noodle bowl) plus the usual coffee, tea and baked goods. Breakfast items are still an option even in the afternoon, and they have two cheese plates you can order if you are feeling peckish. The noodle bowl was a healthy serving of stir-fried noodles with chicken and fresh veggies. Handhelds aren't really my style so I'm glad the Bistro offered not only sandwiches and paninis. SO had the Szechuan lettuce wraps which he enjoyed quite a bit, but we both agreed it could have used a little less ginger in the lettuce filling. Coffee is pretty good (says SO) and the breakfast hash was a little bit on the small side, but still good Plenty of parking when we arrived, though there is a sign stating priority is for resort/restaurant guests. Maybe the lot gets full when the restaurant beside the resort is open at dinner? Sidenote: having seen how nice the resort is, we will be contemplating staying here next time we visit the Okanagan!

    * Hearty bread from freshly milled grain *…read more Entering this bakery you see a glass window protecting a wooden grain mill where they were milling grain to freshly make the flours for their bread. Can't get fresher than that! They started their business far away from the Okanagan in Cowichan Bay back in 2004. Recently they opened up this new second location in the heart of the Okanagan on Main Street in Summerland. They have a variety of organic grains available including red fife, spelt, and rye. And they also have some that weren't labeled as organic, but seem to come from cleaner sources including Kamut and a series of Vancouver Island Red Spring wheats from smaller farms. The rye bread looked delicious - so couldn't resist getting a loaf. It had a superb crust and a dense crumb. It was dusted in flour (perhaps just a tad too much, but I'm nitpicking). There was a slight sourdough flavour which enhanced the flavour profile nicely. Oh man. Kelowna really has upped their brunch game and has so many amazing options now…read more My fried chicken waffles were like nothing I've ever tasted before. Not only did it have so many different options of sauces to come with in which I got the salted maple syrup, but I loved the garnish of pickles and dill. It just provided an extra layer of crunch and texture with an explosion of flavor. I was pretty mesmerized by the Ukrainian breakfast plate as well because having a husband from Saskatoon means having pierogies and delicious sausages on our plates whenever we go back and this reminded me just to that. There are some other bowls and bennies pictured which all were amazing for my friends and husband. This place was bumping and packed by the time we left and service was phenomenal. They have a large parking lot and it's really close to the farmers market so could prove to be a great brunch spot and then opportunity to walk it off after. Finally, the space was very airy and bright but cosy with the wooden beams. The space is decently big and has an outdoor space in which many folks were sitting out there the day we went, though I imagine as winter settles in and perhaps brunch season picks up you will be expecting quite the wait if you didn't make a reservation... To be honest, I think a few people did have to when we were there and I'm sure that's the norm because this place is phenomenal.

The service was exceptional - from the hostess to our waitress everyone was welcoming, super friendly and excellent at what they do. We will be back on our next ski trip, for sure!

Ambience was okay, I wanted something like a diner, but it was neither a diner nor a restaurant. The food felt like out of a can, tasted really bad. Everything we ate felt like it was processed food. We really liked the mango and guava juice. I paid $106 including tips for 2 adults and 2 children under 8. I would not go back.

We went to Terry's one late Wednesday afternoon for wings for only $4.99/pound. They offered a good selection of breaded (only) wet & dry flavors. We chose Caesar Parmesan, Honey Garlic, Hotty-Yaki and Salt & Pepper. The S&P was light on spices and needed more,, the CP was very saucy and the other two were delicious. The atmosphere was laid back and quiet for that time as the restaurant was not very busy. The service, I.e. Henry, was very attentive. The four servings of wings came out to ~$20, what a deal!!! I strongly recommend this restaurant for afternoon and evening dining. It's a real bargain with delicious options on the menu.
