Excellent music! Awesome music! Live FANTASTIC music!!!! Service was nice. Beer here! It's simply a bar. With GREAT MUSIC. Don't get the pizza. Eat elsewhere.

Quite honestly, this might be my new favorite downtown Broadway music and drinking spot. The rooftop bar was all that and a bag of chips for service and liquor selection. Actually, I found real top shelf bourbon (Blanton's) and great bar service from the sweet server upstairs. I had been looking for a rooftop bar with great music midday and midweek, and this was the perfect spot. The crowd seemed to come and go, but the ambiance was perfect, and I had a view of the band and up and down Broadway. Fun times that I will be back again, not to mention... they are 420 Broadway!!!

Real Country music! It was a great reprieve from all the other music at other venues

Song requests! For a tip you can hear just about any song from these living jukebox musicians!

It may be the Second Fiddle, but it's one of my FIRST choices on lower Broadway! Always a fun and classic place to go while visiting the little big town of Nashville! More spacious and honestly better bands than places like Tootsies or several of the other "world famous" bars, smells a lot better too lol. They've got the best bar pizza on Broadway, great bartenders who give you your moneys worth in liquor, and bands that play all your faves plus some of the more nuanced and niche songs you've forgotten about but love. Mark Ramsey is a musician that's played there often for years, my personal fave as an oldie who keeps things fresh, so I've included some killer pics of him from our last Nash trip! Second Fiddle is a must see for every tourist, Bach party, and local looking for a good time on Broadway!

I absolutely loved this place. We came here to unwind after being in a business conference all day. We came upstairs and sat on the rooftop because it was a nice breeze and the inside was a bit warm. This is such a fun bar. It was not insanely crowded upstairs, despite us getting there close to 10 p.m. Our bartender was great and she was so much fun! She made some great recommendations. One of the drinks that I ordered was the Cats Meow. It reminded me of a ginger ale, but with a bit of a kick. I will say that they will sneak up on you after a while. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Second Fiddle. The staff was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. I will definitely visit again.

We were able to get a seat here after seeing a show at the Ryman so that's a major plus. Drinks were good and everyone was enjoying the band. They played a mix of rock and country and one older guy was having his own one man dance party so that added to the entertainment. I didn't eat anything here but I'd come back again.

One of my favorites on Broadway. Drinks are more reasonably priced and the live music is always great! They have 3 floors of live music and I always like the bands. They also have a wonderful rooftop which is my favorite. With many places to pick from this is a good stop. The vibe is always great and the service is always nice. Worth a stop.

Had a blast on a Wednesday night! Sat at the bar and listened to awesome music. Jason Derlatka from Journey stopped in and sang a few songs with the band. Great crowd and delicious pizza. A must stop in Nashville

Great live music of both levels and two different types of music. We sat on the first level and they sand country music on non stop requests from the customers. It was great. Some Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Brett Young, Taylor Swift, The Almond Brothers, and anything you ask. The band Andrew Mac was excellent with guitarist, lead singer who also plays the guitar, a fiddler, a drummer, and base player. They are always welcome all over Nashville to sing at all establishments for their energy and talent. Great venue to just relax w drinks and listen to live music with friends.

The Second Fiddle Bar..... Mac Watts " The Voltage", band BEST BAND OF THE DAY! Without a doubt. HANDS UP! Matt, Tim, Tim, Adam, and Colin. Kevin bartender, Ms Taylor as well, love them. We WOULD go back!

I am so grateful for Second Fiddle existing because I'm from California where bars allow you to wear tank tops. I was trying to go next door to Tootsies but was told I needed to wear sleeves in order to be granted admittance. I was a little shocked because it wasn't like it was a bad tank, it was a name brand! It was RVCA! Well luckily, the security at Second Fiddle's back door saw what happened and was nice enough to extend an invite to my friends and me. Legit, that was super awesome of him and this place was so much fun! The band upstairs was amazing, their rendition of Amy Winehouse's Valerie was top notch. The upstairs patio was conducive to conversation while still being able to hear amazing music from inside the bar and neighboring bars and it was really great to be able to give business to a business that actually wanted me there! I will say, I looked over next t door to Tootsies, where I saw patrons without sleeves. Yes they were women but I feel like I looked better than all of them! Kidding! Or am I? Lol.

The bartender was phenomenal and sang excellent. Then you have #leftyferguson, whom needs to be signed NOW! He is excellent on the guitar and vocals. So far, this is the best bar experience on Broadway.

The Second Fiddle is an economical, fun, and clean option on Broadway. The rooftop has great views. When I went, no cover was being charged when other Broadway businesses were charging. Drink prices are comparable to other Broadway venues, and they have a handful of food options. Live music stages are on both floors. Employees were all respectful and helpful.

Great talent!

We were a bit disappointed at the change of happy hour food menu which I was told changed two days prior. The dip use to be $8 on it. Need less to say we continued inside. I'm no sure if this is handicap assessible as we walkeeld up a lil incline to steps. When entering we were looked at in a way that was not warming. However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.

We absolutely loved hearing the people behind the music in such an intimate venue. There is ample room in the theater for seating and dining. The food was very reasonably priced and good quality. They have a limited staff, please don't expect typical dining experiences. Atmosphere (5/5): A cozy, yet vibrant setting. Sound resonated well throughout the theater and not many bad seats to see the stage. Price (5/5): Admission was about $20 per person a food ranges from $10 - $50. They do require a table minimum of 15 per person that needs to go towards drinks or food. Food (4/5): Food quality was decent. The bread on the turkey sandwich was a little dry, while the onions rings were a little soggy. Service (4/5): They do work on a limited staff and each of them are artists. It can take a minute to order and get your food but they have a lot of people.

Gayle, Jim, Erin, and I were here at the 6 PM show on 4/29/26 that featured Jason Duke, Keesy Trimmer, and Chris Bondi. We actually met Keesy when we were walking to the venue as his car pulled up and he asked if we were heading to the Listening Room? When we said yes, he was very excited. We were too at the end of the evening, with all of us agreeing that this was one of, if not the highlight of our trip to Nashville. The Listening Room itself is a large and acoustically solid room within what looked like an old International Harvester Farm Equipment Building. Food and Drink are served and I believe there was a minimum in addition to the admission price. This is normally not a place that you can walk in, so buy your tickets early. We found the food to be "adequate", the service very good, and a 5 Star show experience. Each songwriter took turns with a number, explained some background on it, name dropped artists who recorded their songs, and told some great stories. It seems like the Nashville songwriting community knows each other well, which might explain the easy familiarity all 3 had with each other and their individual song writing efforts. We might have related to Chris Bondi a little more, especially after singing the "I Bet You Would Have Loved Her" tear jerker, and a really funny one on getting high while skiing. Keesy had a great one about a boat and "Time Makes Money Look Cheap" cowritten by him and others and recorded by Chris Janson. Jason Duke showcased "Dibs" that was recorded by Kelsea Ballerini. Or was it "That Could Still Be Us" performed by Keith Urban? Our only regret was that tickets were still available for the 9 PM show (with a new songwriting team) and we passed it up. Post Note: Gayle's song title idea for Keesy: Don't go Puking on my Boots. :)
