Unfortunately, don't believe the fancy pictures or the comments. We moved from another state and rented a house based on the comments here. Our problems started right after we rented, and they did address them initially, but then they couldn't agree with the landlord and parted ways. After that, I was left alone with the landlord. Of course, since their contracts ended, they don't have to help, but even though I continued paying all my rent through the platform they provided and they knew about the issues with the landlord, they offered no support when I moved out. They didn't even give me a reference, and because my landlord didn't reply to emails or replied late, or perhaps gave a bad reference, I had a lot of trouble finding a new place. All I wanted was a reference. I came from another state and rented this house sight unseen, trusting their name, but they didn't lift a finger to help me in my difficult time. In the end, with a baby, two months of stress looking for a house, being rejected, and paying more deposit because there was no reference or a bad one. Think twice before doing business with this company or trusting their name, and if possible, talk to the landlord directly and meet them because one day they might be disappeared. Otherwise, you might end up without electricity and get no help from anyone. Because at the end of the day, once they rent the house and get their money, you're nobody's concern. Note for response: I just have asked that I rented property via your company and paid on time. New landlord just want to make sure no eviction or delayed payments. You had all these information and legally you could refer me because I rented from your company and I have used zego payment via from your company. You guys just rented out took your money and left me alone with landlord. I dont know landlord.I trusted your company! You just betrayed and left your customer alone read more

We are moving to the Seattle area, cross country, and were totally ignorant about the area. They are perfect! We were looking for apartments nearby downtown Seattle and there were overwhelming number of online listings. Everything changed when we contacted Seattle Rental Group and we were helped by DJ/Donald Beavers which was an excellent experience. DJ was transparent and quick with the communication. From sending the apartment listings curated based on our preferences to the fact that he was such a friendly guest/guide on the day of the tours, DJ was amazing and fun! I was looking for a Seattle apartment for my roommate and me when I reached out to Seattle Rental Group and shortly after got a response from Kayden asking how he could help in our search. We were both moving from out of state (I from Texas and my roommate from Montana) and were not super familiar with the area, so I was really hoping Kayden could help us figure out a good place to be. In Texas, apartment complexes require a 60-day moveout notice, so when I learned that the norm in Seattle is a 20-day moveout notice, I was pretty stressed. We were on a fairly tight budget but had a good idea of what we were looking for. Plus, we didn't need to be right downtown, so I felt like we could find SOMEWHERE that ticked most of our boxes. We had one weekend planned to visit Seattle to take a look at some of the properties Kayden sent us. Unfortunately, they were all very disappointing. We only ended up touring one apartment of the several that Kayden had sent us. He'd set up a tour for us, but I guess forgotten to send us the info we needed for the tour (which, unknown to us, was supposed to be self-guided) so we wasted time standing in front of the leasing office trying to get a hold of an agent to give us the tour. At one property, we didn't even bother to get out of the car because we felt, as two young women, we might not be safe. We realized that another property was just entirely too far out of the way. So, we frantically tried to tour some apartments we could find that same day on Zillow and the like and ended up getting a better feel for the area and surrounding neighborhoods on our own. We let Kayden know once we were back home what we thought of the apartments and asked for a new list. He still never really sent us a good rundown of areas that would be good for us to be in, and couldn't tell us much more about the apartments he found than we could find ourselves. He was also fairly slow to respond to our emails. Towards the end of our search, he was taking up to a week to respond/send new apartments for us to look into. In the time it took him to get back to us, we'd already sent in an application for an apartment we found on our own. We ended up just doing the search and found a place ourselves through Apartments.com. As someone who was moving from half a country away, I would have much preferred a knowledgeable real estate agent to help us through the process. Instead, I felt like this was more of a side-gig for Kayden that he didn't specifically take seriously. Really just too bad. read more

This is the review of my experience with of their leasing agents Ashley. A really unresponsive agent. Day 1: I first tried to contact her thrice, with no avail. Day 2: Got a call. scheduling for next week since I was not in Seattle post that day as I was on an apartment hunting trip. Day 6: I had to follow up with her twice on text to make sure if we have an appointment today. She refers to the wrong property being unavailable. I contacted this "realtor" for info-I will be new to the area and did not have much info. I asked for a price range around $1500. I have taken out my name but this is her answer verbatim otherwise: Hello Thanks for your interest in our rental finding service. Unfortunately, due to your price range, we won't be able to help you with our service, as the rental rates of the apartments we work with are currently quite a bit higher (starting at around $1600 for a studio, and $1900 for a 1 bedroom). I would recommend visiting Craigslist to search for apartments - the price point you're looking to stay within can be found in some of the cities further south and north of Seattle, in slightly older apartment communities. If you need to stay closer to the city, searching here for a sublet could be a good option. My response: Good Evening, I find it interesting that instead of increasing my price range, you tell me to try Craigs List; one of the most dangerous places to conduct any business. I felt really secure while working with Michael. I visited Seattle for a short weekend, which meant that I needed to quickly make a housing decision. He guided me leading up to, during, and after my search process. During our initial phone call, he really listened to my preferences for a new home. We lived in a condo managed by Seattle Rental Group/Point3 Real Estate for less than a year. Michael Hughes was ostensibly our landlord and did a terrible job. We gave him a short list of repairs the first week we moved in (broken mailbox, broken flood lights, etc) and for months we did a dance in which we would reach out to ask the status of the repairs, he would connect us with random "repairmen" (his friends? random guys with aol email addresses? unclear) who would ignore our requests, we would check back in with Michael, and he would say he "thought the repairs were taken care of" (unclear how they would have been, as he was copied on every email with the repairmen). The worst came in winter 2021. In December our dryer broke, and a (legitimate) repairman came and failed to fix it. We alerted Michael multiple times the dryer had not been fixed, and it fell on deaf ears. We lived our last THREE MONTHS in the unit without a functioning dryer. During the same period, when it was below freezing for weeks in Seattle, our heater did not work. It was frigid inside the unit and it took three weeks and multiple emails to get the heat functional enough. Michael was unresponsive at his best and rude and condescending at his worst/usual. While we can't speak for the organization as a whole, you have to wonder why there is no quality control/oversight of over such abhorrent behavior, unless Seattle Rental Group/Point3 condones it. read more

Do you like having your appointment cancelled on you 9 minutes before scheduled? And losing out on an apartment you love because of said cancellation? Do you like wasting your Saturday looking at an apartment already signed to another applicant, only to find out as you're looking at it that it won't be available? Do you like wasting $130 on applying for an apartment when there's 4 other applicants too? Look no further! Seattle Rental Group is your team. Limited options, a 'first applied' policy (not the law yet), and terrible disrespect for people's time and money. I got cancelled on nine minutes before a Friday appointment, after arranging to work from home and borrowing a car. THEN, Gerard had us visit the apartment the next day, despite the fact he received a couples application (and he told us it's a first in policy), and he told us the same day that the owners decided to go with those applicants and we shouldn't apply. If I had seen the apartment at the original appointment, then we would have been first applicant. When those applicants didn't work out, Gerard told us the place was available, so my roommates and I scrambled to get it done ASAP (given the 'first in' application rule). So we paid our $130 collectively, for which there were now four other applicants at this point. Then he told us, it's not first in, it's soonest to move in, and we weren't the soonest so we didn't get it. This is my 7th leasing agent to deal with and BY FAR the worst. Do not do any business!
