I've been seeing her on and off for 7 years. She cured a freak episode of allergies/eczema but I normally see her for muscle spasms. I went in today and could not turn my neck. I was in severe pain! After an hour session, my neck was sore from the spasm but I could at least turn it without wincing in pain. She gave me a giant band-aid soaked in camphor, menthol etc + a bottle liquid that contained similar elements. The needles don't hurt as they're so small. I was snoring when she came in to take them out. I'm freaked out by needles (like taking blood....yikes!) and this is nothing to be worried about as these needles are teeny-tiny. I am happy to say that I am now an advocate of TCM because of the issues that were solved with my visits to this clinic. I came here for two separate instances: first time for my depression, the second time for a stomach ulcer. The first time I came in about a month ago from now, trying to find an answer to why I was tired all the time, could not lose weight, and felt depressed for no reason. It had been going on for a few years at this point, and I was tired of it. I went to Dr. Song with an open mind, willing to try his way. He took my pulse, looked at my tongue, and asked me a few questions. He diagnosed me with hypothyroidism, which was causing most of the problems, and he prescribed a blend of herbal medicine. If you read on his website, it will tell you more about this. Each blend is done individually catered to the specific person's metabolism and the issue they are trying to solve. I now have been able to start losing weight, and I have also found that the hypothyroidism was due to taking BC pills for almost ten years. I am very glad that it was brought to my attention. And I am also happy to say that my overall mood has improved and I have stopped feeling the depression that I had started sinking into for the past two years. Now for the second time. Last weekend, I went to the urgent care clinic in Carrollton on Josey because I had been having stomach pains for the last two days. I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, but they told me I needed to be admitted to the ER. Working in healthcare myself, I know how expensive this was going to get, so I refused. I went to Dr. Song the next day, who confirmed it was a stomach ulcer caused by dormant growth of a bacteria called HP (very common reason for stomach ulcers) and was probably flaring up due to my recent habits of drinking a lot of black coffee. He prescribed another herbal mix. People kept telling me I would need 3 types of antibiotics to cure the stomach ulcer. The bacteria HP does not die in the stomach because it feeds on stomach acid. If I were to take antibiotics, it would also kill all of the good bacteria in my digestive system. I wanted to try it this way, because Dr. Song explained that the HP would not completely die with antibiotics but it would keep it under control for a few months or years before I had another stomach ulcer. The herbs he gave me would kill the HP for good and not harm anything else in my body. So I took the herbs. And it is a week later and I feel completely healed. Back to normal. I have been coming here since it moved from Inwood and Lovers and I love this location! I always find a parking spot on the outside with easy access available and have yet to enter parking garage but they do have one available. I have been going to get adjustments since it opened with most recent visit being 11/29/23 from Dr.Tim Nawrocki. He is very knowledgeable and not rough like some chiropractors. He's also friendly, punctual, and caring too. I notice that my back and neck always feel better when I keep regular visits. Another amazing experience about this office is it's so easy to book your appointments. If your like myself and only remember things after hours or if you love texting verses calling or both they have an app which is very convenient! I love it and they text you 48 hours before your appointment then 24 hours then on the day of so you don't forget or you have time to cancel because I was getting to that next, they will charge you a fee if you cancel appt last minute but they will work with you as far as if an emergency were to come up so they aren't going to just profit on you being late but they make it hard for you to be late with the reminders. lol! Last but not least, it is not inexpensive but it's totally worth it when your pains start to ease up and you start to feel better. I used to think how can a chiropractor really work on you in 15 min or less but they can if they know what they are doing! Everyone said that it's just a bad area for allergies. But over three in a half years, his allergies became so bad our son couldn't be outside for more than thirty minutes.
