This is a nice motel to stay at before heading off to Mount Rainier National Park. I arrived late at night, so I didn't get a clear view of the outside. In the early morning, it was foggy, but I was able to see the mountain. The room was clean and spacious. There's a fridge and microwave. The most unfortunate thing was the poor lighting like at any other hotels and motels. I don't understand why they like to keep rooms dark. The office is open until 10 pm, so you can check in a little late. There is free breakfast from 7 am-9:30 an, which was nice. read more

There were empty bed bug larva shells on the headboard (Room 109), live spider on the pillow, and a hotel manager who was not receptive to us giving them feedback. When we tried to explain that a wobbly toilet, dripping faucets and dusty/grimy hotel room did not meet our expectations of a $140/night hotel, we were met with "there is nothing I can do about that" attitude. Johnny should not be in the hospitality business. POCs beware of poor service. I hear Packwood has more friendly lodging options. All of the single bed rooms are on the road side, which had loud traffic all night. Breakfast was ok, but the waffle batter was spoiled and tasted sour. Not worth even half of what we paid read more

Do not waste your money!! For $175 a night this place is way overpriced for what you get. I have a list of complaints that I would have overlooked if the price were $100 less. 1) dead bugs in bathroom 2) uncomfortable bed 3) smelly pillows - smelled like feet 4) very spotty internet 5) road noise at all hours of the day and night 6) noise from neighboring rooms. I have mixed feelings about our stay here. We were charged $160 for the basic room, plus a $20 pet fee. As we were booking just the week before, and needed a spot that was dog friendly before our backpacking trip, we had a tricky time, and this was the last available option. When we first checked in, we were assaulted by VERY strong orange cleaner smell. It was potent, and we left the windows open and went for a walk to stave off the headache. Later on my companion realized everything she left on the floor smelled like cigarette smoke, which again, ugh, probably why the smell of cleaner was so strong. The beds were fine, and had synthetic down filling and not real goose down (not a problem, just a note!) There was a microwave and a mini fridge, which had two water bottles and York mint patties for us, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was fine, but not fully washed. There was blonde hair still in the bathtub, which made us choose to not take a bath like we'd both been excited about since we have tiny tubs at home. When my 5' 4" friend cried out 'oh no, the shower head is low!' I knew I was in for trouble at 5' 11". At the highest setting, it hit me at chest level. The big issue with this motel is that while service is fantastic while the desk is open, it's non existent when it's not. We were kept up from 10pm-midnight by our neighbors TV, and when we rejoiced at it being turned off, it was replaced with even louder Christian radio with a hellfire and brimstone preacher from midnight until 7am. We got absolutely no sleep, and had no front desk to call to rectify the situation after knocking to no avail. Breakfast was good, there are fresh made waffles, biscuits and gravy, mediocre sausages, scrambled eggs, yogurts, fruit juices, and quakers oatmeal. Checkout was simple, and just involved dropping your keys in a bin, inside or outside depending on whether it was before or after 7am. read more

Will (I hope I have his name right, I apologize if I'm wrong) was able to get us in same day, and even a few hours early so we could escape the heat. It'd be better to stay in your car than here. Looks ok from the outside but inside the room-gross. Several pee spots (see picture) on the carpet despite it being animal free rooms, windows hadn't been cleaned and had smudges all over that you couldn't see out, the Keurig had hair and dirt in the k cup spot, room hadn't been dusted in who knows when, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned as there was hair all over the floor. Could hear every step the people above us made all through the night and the room had a musty smell to it. Breakfast was ok but coffee was undrinkable. After we had left and got coffee in Mossyrock, the owner of the coffee shop told us that this motel had a bed big problem a few months ago and gave us our $30 drink order on the house because we had stayed here. I am so disappointed in the management of this motel. They denied a 70 year old woman and her dog refuge when she was evacuated from her home in Packwood during the Goat Rocks fire. Her dog had his own bed, barely sheds, doesn't bark, is house trained and she was afraid and lost trying to stay close to her home. She would have paid an extra fee, but was not given an option. We have stayed there with our dogs, so we understand you didn't have a dog friendly room, but you should have made an exception. Go that extra mile; scrub down that room, etc. She sat at Gust Backstrom park with her dog (in shock) for 3 hours while we scrambled to get her access to our home. We drove back from Oregon to open our home to them here in Morton. Just disgraceful. As a community member, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I know I am. read more

After a nice hike with the family, enjoying Mt. Rainier National Park we where happy to have found this motel not too far our hike. The room was comfy, clean and the check in process was seamless. The place was actually really busy so I expected it to be loud and difficult to sleep, but the sound seemed to be muffled enough that my lite sleeper of a wife was enjoying her well deserved rest. My 2 little boys where fast asleep and I got the proper recovery rest that I needed. In the morning we had a simple complimentary breakfast with awesome staff who where sooo sweet with the kiddos. They offered peanut butter cups which my sons loves. The staff where all friendly welcoming and we felt safe and comfortable. read more

I don't know why motels insist on clumping their guests all together. The other half of the hotel was empty but we were packed in next to each other, hearing tvs and conversations through the thin walls. There are no sheer drapes, so you have to keep the blackout drapes closed and the lights on in the morning. Small tv. There is a Mexican restaurant across the parking lot, but it's terrible. There is a Keurig coffee machine, with Kirkland brand coffee. The room seems pretty clean overall. $150 is too much for what you get, though. read more

Large rooms. Really appreciated the water glasses and real coffee mugs. No paper or plastic here. 3.8 Stars. A couple of weeks ago, I was riding my scooter (yes, my scooter), from Portland, OR back to Seattle, and was caught in a deluge of rain a few miles short of reaching Morton. I was freezing cold, and decided to stay overnight in Morton. Shivering, I walked into the lobby of the Seasons Motel and booked a room. The receptionist (and owner, I think) greeted me and was very kind. After I checked in, she offered to throw my soaking wet clothes into the motel dryer, since there wasn't a public laundromat in Morton. Here is a breakdown of the Seasons Motel: Service: 5 Stars!! Far above average, because the receptionist dried all of my clothes in their dryer! I don't know of many motels that will do this for you. Room: 3 Stars. It was pretty average and what I would expect in a town of this size. Price: 2 Stars. $100 for the night in the off season which I felt was a bit high. Bed: 5 Stars!! Very comfortable new beds!! This hotel was wonderful!!! Rooms and grounds were clean. It was quiet. Beds were comfy. Again rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Housekeeping spent the little extra time to fold towels in a beautiful and decorative way. Very close to grocery and restaurants. Watch out that things may close a little early since it's a tiny little town. The views were amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful! I would definitely stay here again!!! read more

Super easy staying with our puppy here, though you do need to tell them ahead of time so they give you a pet-friendly room (this wasn't listed on booking.com). This review is regarding the customer service only, as we were unable to actually stay the night. A few weeks ago I had made reservations for a room here for 1 night only, the night before the High Pass Challenge bicycle ride. We had intended to drive down from Everett, WA area on Saturday evening to get some sleep before driving to the start of the ride in Packwood the next morning. But a sick family member prevented us from leaving in time to make the stay worthwhile. I called to see if I could still cancel the room, and the staff member was kind enough to let me cancel the night of my reservation without charging me for the night after hearing the circumstances. Next year, I'll definitely call here first, as the customer service is top notch! read more

We arrived right before the office closed for the night. What a pleasant surprise to have such a warm welcome and to be walked to our room also. The room was spotless and had plenty of special little touches. We have spent a fair amount of time in motels lately due to some house repairs. This by far has been the best going above and beyond with great customer service .We will definitely stay here again when we are passing though. The Seasons Motel is a good motel for the area. I believe it is the best one in this area of Washington State. That being said, here are my pros and cons. Pros: Clean updated Motel with a friendly staff, nice TV, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, and desk. Free breakfast including biscuits and gravy. Cons: Horrible toilet paper, Small low-rise toilet, horrible breakfast sausage, and old coil spring mattress but usable. Overall, I would stay at the Seasons Motel again if I find myself in the Morton, WA area. I can deal with the Cons because the Pros make up for it. :-) read more

A motel in Morton, Washington has become my standard for motels, and others fail where Seasons excel. There are some basic things that will always make me happy: 1) There are always more than enough towels, not the bare minimum like most motels. 2) The breakfast is a FULL breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I have had (better than my own), not just cold food or just a waffle maker like most motels. They have breads, scrambled eggs, sausage,biscuits and gravy, waffles - you see what I mean!! 3) The rooms are large and roomy and always very, very clean, not like some places I've been (don't ask! Yuck!) I don't have reason to stay there anymore, and I miss it every time I have to travel. The people at Seasons were so friendly and professional that they just added to the enjoyment of our stays. I recommend it wholeheartedly! read more

Wonderful. We stayed here because my grandfather passed away and the funeral was in Mossy Rock. Its about a 2 hour drive from home and we have 2 little ones so we decided to stay the weekend and be with family. This was the closest and least expensive option and I went in thinking it would be a ratty motel. Boy was I WRONG. This place was excellent, beautiful, clean, and bright. The staff was extremely friendly and they advertise a "continental" breakfast... No. It was a full on breakfast both mornings. Eggs, sausages, a waffle making station. There are keurigs in each room with coffee and fixings. The bathrooms were beautiful with granite counter tops! The TV was really nice and the room felt spacious and was very comfortable. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the area, and will definitely stay there again should I ever need to. Very very happy customer. read more

A short distance (~30 miles) from Mt. Rainier. Good service, good spacious room, friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast (typical continental, but not meagre, and with more selections). Free wi-fi and parking. There is a Mexican restaurant within walking distance that is open until late. We had to change reservation twice and that was hassle-free. We were on a long road trip, making reservations on the fly, and planned to go to Mt. Rainier the next day, so I called around and we got the last room here. The friendly woman on the phone warned us that it was very small (much smaller and less expensive than the other rooms), so said she'd hold it for an hour so we could check it out before deciding to book. That was awesome! The room was upstairs, and we thought it was very sweet. It was on the corner of the building and was an odd shape in addition to being very small. It was super clean and had a small window. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom, which was fine. It had a small fridge and microwave. Everything was organized to make the most of the small space. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Glad we found this place. read more

For the price, I expected the room to be immaculate. Instead, there was mold in the shower, dirt on the bathroom floor, kibbles from some previous guest and copious dust on top of the headboard. For someone allergic to dust this place is a nightmare. So glad I won't be here tomorrow! read more

I agree with almost everything others wrote below (before me). We were really happy with everything and would heartily recommend this inn to other travelers. The room was fine; it was clean and the beds were so comfortable (firm); no smells. The remote was finicky, seemed like it might indeed need new batteries?; not many channels to choose from (but that cant be the motel's fault); the frig wasn't plugged in when we arrived but it worked great for keeping our food cold and ready for our cooler in the morning; the brkfst was fine/typical; the room WAS just a little overpriced; the receptionist was very kind and friendly and check in and out was easy and fast. The grocery store was just across the street for a few camping items we forgot. All in all we were very happy w/ our stay here and wish the owners continued success. read more

Over $140 for two people and one pet in a one-bed room! Absurd. The pet fee alone is $22 per pet. Either allow pets and charge a reasonable pet fee, or don't allow pets. $22? That's just a gouge.
