We've wasted here a few times and are never disappointed. The menu changes seasonally with consideration for what's in season. Steaks here are prepared perfectly and seasoned in a way to let the meat shine through rather than be covered in sauces. Sides are simple yet delicious. Portion sizes are great for a solid meal or to plan ahead to ask for a box for half and be plenty satisfied! Service is always top notch from greetings by the hostess, your server, and the manager always stopping to make sure everything is perfect. Cocktail offerings also change seasonally and are always beautifully presented. The bar here is always hopping! There are many open seating areas but also cozy, intimate booths for a quiet private spot. Four of us came on a Sat night around 6PM and were able to get seated right away. They had this cozy small room off the main dining room that was a perfect little place for a "private" setting. We started out with the Brussels Aglio ($13) and it was excellent! Our friends went with the Black Angus Filet Mignon ($36) and Rack of Lamb ($34) and enjoyed their selections. My bride went with the Beet Salad with Salmon ($18) and she really liked the dressing (but wished she had requested it on the side since it was a little heavy). My wife and I first time here. Tucked in a boutique Hotel in quaint streets of downtown Sevierville. We chose to sit outside on the patio surrounded by beautiful green and lovely trellis. Our representative for the evening was Sabrina. Sabrina met us with a beautiful smile and a very positive attitude. After explaining the menu my wife and I chose a dish being featured from the upcoming fall menu. My wife and I also enjoyed a delicious drink from their specialty menu. Never expected a place like this to exist in this town! I'm glad its here and I hope we get more places like Seasons 101 as Sevierville is expanding. It's a hotel with rooftop bar with a view and live music. As you enter the Sky Lounge, there's flavored water to the left, walking straight to the right is the bar and complimentary apps which included assorted fruits, veggies, cheeses and dips. There's hooded and non-hooded seats and pretty of place to separate from others. The vibe is dressy-casual, so you don't necessary have to wear a suit, but great spot to hang or even for a date. Being pretty new, the menu isn't vast, but the bartenders will make drinks if you want something that's not on the list. Also, they are super chill and sweet to talk to! So don't be afraid to ask or feel judged. Went a sunny, humid evening, where it was still breezy. It was the perfect weather and if you're a sunset chaser, you'll LOVE this. Nice location in a boutique hotel. We had reservations at 6.30 on a Friday and they were busy. They were out of the grouper which was a bummer but our waitress kept going back and forth on the dairy free options available. That took a lot of time. We split the spinach warm bacon salad. It was very good. My husbands came out with cheese on it so it got sent back. I went with the lamb (not dairy free). It was very tasty and a very large portion, 5 legs, potatoes and broccolini. I took a lot of it home with me. Close to a 5 star but would have liked for the waitress to just let us know at one time what they could accommodate for our dairy free options (for my husband). Do not let the location (inside a hotel) fool you this place has classy vibe and delicious food. Everything we had was tasty and very well cooked. We dined during the summer menu season. The free flatbread strips and summer butter adds major bonus point for this place as so many places have removed free bread. The honeysuckle buttermilk chicken appetizer was crunchy, flavorful, and well sized. Would have loved a touch more spice but that is a preference. Burrata appetizer offered plenty of toasted crostini for the cheese and we all enjoyed the accompanying sweet drop peppers. Linguine Florentine was cooked well and the shrimp were also excellently prepared. Prime rib came cooked perfectly medium rare and the garlic mashed potatoes were perfect. Would have loved a bit more of a seasoning crust on the outside of the rib. Springer mountain chicken breast was also enjoyed. Our server was very nice, I do wish he had checked in a sooner as we sat finished waiting for a box for quite some time, however the place was busy! Lastly, dessert! The key lime pie was delicious. But she was quick to find the answer to our questions. Parking is very limited. Probably the only downside right now. Dinner was awesome! The food was yummy! I think my only critique was that my steak was lacking salt and maybe a sort of reduction or sweet drizzle would have gone well with an aged coffee and cocoa dusted ribeye. Nevertheless, the highlight of the experience was dessert. I'm not a big dessert eater but I was very pleasantly surprised by the key lime cheesecake. The only upsetting piece was that my group was ready to go at the end of our meal and it took an extra 40 min for the desserts to come out. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in quite a while. Inside the restaurant it's nice and quiet, and nicely decorated - perfect for a romantic dinner. Started with a Belgium Beer and bread sticks. Next was a half wedge salad that was spot on for flavor. All fresh ingredients (homemade dressing) and the balsamic drizzle added just the right bit of sweetness to the creamy blue cheese. I went outside of my comfort zone, normally this doesn't end well for me. I decided to try the seasonal Hunters Platter - elk tenderloin, walnut encrusted lamb, clove and shallot scented duck, with prosciutto infused hunters sauce and horseradish mashed potatoes. WOW! this meal was out of this world. The elk tenderloin was fork tender and was cooked to perfection. I was worried it was going to have a gamey flavor, but it was melt in your mouth tender and well seasoned. The duck and lamb were also perfectly cooked and both tasted wonderful. Service was awesome and I was well taken care of as a party of one on a business trip. I would highly recommend eating at Seasons 101 and get the Hunters Platter if it's still in season. Started off with the flatbread that was a solid 4.6 but it went downhill from there. While the ambiance was a 5 as well as service the chef might have had an off night. The calamari was really good but the Asia sweet sauce didn't do it for my wife but I gave the dish a 4.2. A marinara sauce would have made this dish a 5. We also had the tuna appetizer which was fishy tasting and extremely disappointing which we rated a 1. For the entree we had the butternut squash ravioli and chicken dish. We had been to Seasons 101 a couple of times, but during their winter menu, which we loved! We had been looking so forward to trying their spring menu, but, sadly, we were very disappointed. The only thing the waitress added that was not on the menu was French onion soup. Nothing on the signature offerings menu was very original/seasonal. It had all the basics, lamb, pork, chicken, steak, and salmon. They did have sea bass which you don't see as much on other menus. Once it arrived at the table, I felt the price was a bit high for what you get (maybe a 5 ounce piece of fish, side of quinoa/couscous mix, and a few spears of asparagus). I had that and it was okay- nothing I couldn't make at home. My husband had the rack of lamb ($38) which he probably could have ordered at most other restaurants. And looking back at other reviews (far back as three years ago), the sauce is basically the same, they just change the berries used. The lamb is still paired with some type of mashed potato and a small portion of a vegetable. The flatbread sticks they served before the meal were a bit stale with crunchy ends instead of being instead of being warm and soft like past visits. The Brie En Croute appetizer was good as usual, but some of the spring mix on the platter was wilted - both other times we've had it, everything was so fresh. We didn't even want to order dessert-the only thing that changed was the type of bread pudding they offered. We rarely eat out because I cook a lot at home and we were really excited about trying Seasons 101 again. However, if we do go back, we will probably ask for a menu before we sit down at a table. Service- Our waitress was okay, but not as engaging as our past waiters. We got the basic service from her and she almost forgot to bring an item we asked for. We popped in for a quick drink and then decided to stay for an app and then decided to stay for dinner and then decided to stay for dessert. It's unlike any other place in this area in the best way possible. My family visits Sevierville every November but I quickly grow tired of all the fried, uninspiring food served at most places very quickly. This place is an unexpected, upscale experience with fresh options. We came here tonight with a party of 5 for a 7:30 reservation. We were blessed with Josh who suggested the oyster special right off the bat. Monday nights feature a dozen P.E.I oysters for $18. This is probably the only place in town I would trust to get fresh oysters. I started with a local cider that wasn't too sweet and had a great flavor. They also serve a great flatbread with sun-dried tomato butter that I couldn't get enough of. Three of us ordered the salmon entree which was absolutely fantastic. We were told Seasons 101 would be eligible for a Michelin Star with Chef Little next June when the restaurant turns 2 years old. Don't wait until then. Go here NOW! The food is fantastic, the prices are extremely reasonable, and their servers are very knowledgeable about the menu. To top it all off, it's in an adorable, quaint hotel in downtown Sevierville. I look forward to dining here for many more annual family vacations to come. I also wanted to add that I got the key lime pie to go. I'm a slut for key lime pie. Josh said something about an award and coconut flakes and that it was featured in a magazine which is honestly way more than I needed to know to want a slice. We visited Seasons 101! On a Tuesday evening. Our server was Olivia. Before I mention the food, I want to say that she was a fantastic waitress. She had great information about the food, answered our questions with ease and was very attentive! We've had a lot of great servers but she very much exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic, my husband had the seared rib eye. It was cooked to perfection and had a great vanilla infused butter sauce. I had the Parmesan encrusted Barramundi fish (Asian sea bass) with a dollop of cheese grits, it was amazing. We finished the meal with an order of Key Lime Pie to share. I went to visit my brother and his wife for a couple of days and we came one night ,because it was recommended. I have to say the place is really nice. I like the shabby chic thing they got going on, and the salad was delicious but I think our server was probably in the weeds. She didn't seem to have it all together because we sat there for an hour and four other tables had been seated after us and they received their food before we ever got our food. My brother had the filet mignon, which he asked for his medium when he got it, It was well done which filet mignon should never be cooked that way. I know there are people that like it, but still should never be cooked that way and I had short rib ribs. I make short ribs. They're delicious so when I see them on the menu, I just can't wait to have them because they take a long time to make. I have to say the food was less para. The salad was amazing. Like I said, but the entrées were less than up to par for me and I don't know if it was the chef or the server cause they could've been left under the lights, too long and overcooked, but anyway the short ribs taste like a piece of roast beef and you couldn't pull it apart with the fork you had to use a knife to cut it, which it should be fallen off the bone when it cooked properly i'd have to say I probably wouldn't go back unless I was going to have a salad but again I love the ambience. Had lunch here today for my birthday. (Happy Birthday to me!) There was a lot of good about this experience including delicious food beautifully presented and great service. I had the salmon which was of high quality and cooked perfectly. I was underwhelmed with the bean relish served with the salmon as it didn't provide quite the punch of flavor I was hoping for but the Orzo was delicious The Wedge salad was drizzled with balsamic which provided a perfect contrast to the richness of the blue cheese dressing. My husband got the calamari which was absolutely tender and delicious. You could really get the taste and texture of the squid which I adore. His bucatini pasta with shrimp was good but needed a little more of the tomato confit cream sauce as it was a little dry. The main detractor from our experience was that the staff were moving chairs into a storage area right beside our table throughout the meal. It felt disruptive and intrusive. Also, the hostess was on the phone as she was moving the chairs and as we were leaving. It's a high end place with a price tag that leads me to expect more. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but hope the management can do a better job of managing customer experience. read more
