The older gentleman at the register was incredibly kind and welcoming. The frozen yogurt was delicious and reasonably priced. I really liked the family-owned feel of the shop. It's not fancy, but it unique for sure. Definitely my kind of vibe and prefer this over corporate companies. There is small parking lot right in front of the shop and makes it extra convenience. I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

It's not the most glamorous aesthetic place but it's family owned which is nice. Not too many flavors. But absolutely scratches the itch for frozen yogurt ! Lots of toppings and a good price. If you're craving frozen yogurt after the beach it's perfect!

My college mate and I were walking off some Mexican food and we decided to get something sweet and we came upon seaside yogurt. We got the sea salt pretzel yogurt with caramel sauce and chocolate sauce added on top. Yummy yummy yummy yummy!!

Watermelon with tart yogurt. Added pocky, strawberries, circus animal cookies and chocolate chips. So good! Also how cute is the cup!

So yummy and lots of cool candies and snacks available apart from the yogurt. The owner is super nice too.

The inside is super cute and the worker was the sweetest!! I love all the candy decor and photos on the wall. i wish there were more froyo flavors, but there were a bunch of different toppings from peach rings to candy corn to tim tams. I will definitely come back since it is close to the beach.

This self serve yogurt shop will not dazzle you with it's selection by any means. I think I maybe counted 8 total flavors and the toppings were pretty limited in comparison as well. What Seaside Yogurt does have going for it though is it's identity. It's a mom and pop to the T. Pop was working the midday shift on a Tuesday in December so you know you're going to get an authentic look at a family owned business. Really sweet older gent who you could tell takes pride in the hard work he puts into this little place. Is it the best yogurt shop in the area? Probably not. I'm definitely going to stop in and support next time I'm in the area though.

For what it is Seaside Yogurt deserves 5stars. As a former storefront business owner, I understand space & cost issues. I was immediately surprised about the ginormous candy selection they have for toppings. These people are authentic Asian style with the setup, use of space, and how much candy is available for toppings! *love it* I read other reviews - I have to disagree with the selection of toppings. I've been doing this yogurt bar style of yogurt shops since they became a thing in 2010. They all have pretty much the same toppings unless you go to one in Japan or another Asian/P.I. (i.e. the Philippines) country. This place reminded going to a yogurt bar in Asia - minus the flavors you would find if you were in those countries. All the toppings you would find at any other self serve yogurt bar AND THEN SOME! I would definitely take a young kid here for a treat. They would have too much fun with all the different candy choices to make themselves a Willy Wonka yogurt Delight edible fantasy. I didn't mind how the toppings were put in bottles, it makes sense because of lack of space. I ended up unscrewing the top and dumping my toppings on. Everything looks clean. The self-serve area was clean. The topping bar was clean. There were only eight choices- which how many choices do you need when you have so many toppings? I absolutely LOVED that they had purple Taro!!!! THAT'S something different. Yummy good. Mixing that with honey, blueberries, and granola was fabulous! The service was friendly. The gentleman - apparently his name is Mister Lee - wanted to make sure I liked my choices and I understood where everything was. I appreciate the very small business feel. If I had recieved no service at all, it wouldn't surprise me. A lot of times that's how it is when you're in true Asian establishment. *shrug* I would not have complained either way. I like that Seaside Yogurt has storefront parking, and a little sitting area outside to enjoy your delicious treat while taking in a view of the ocean. You can visit the adorable pet food shop next door and pick up your pet a treat while you're getting yourself something sweet. I would suggest they get a trash can for outside at the end of the row of orange chairs. REASONS TO VISIT SEASIDE YOGURT: 1. Reasonable Prices 2. Huge Topping Selection 3. Clean Establishment 4. Friendly Service 5. Storefront Parking 6. Support Small Business

She ordered the vegan tropical flavor (passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and more)--bright, fresh, and bursting with real fruit taste. I went with the classic chocolate. We were both pleasantly surprised by how perfectly it hit all the marks of great gelato: that wonderful gooey stretch, incredible richness, ultra-creamy texture, and flavors that were spot-on and deeply satisfying. No icy bits, no ice cream "claiming" to be gelato, just pure enjoyment in every spoonful. The portions were generous, the service friendly, clean ambiance, and the timing couldn't have been better for a quick, uplifting treat. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Really enjoyed the stracciatella and the charcoal vanilla. The chai latte is pretty tasty as well. I think other gelato spots in San Diego county do gelato a bit better, specifically Gelato Vero in Mission Hills--the gelato is simply creamier and less ice-cream-textured. But Gelato 101 isn't bad by any means, and is certainly refreshing and tasty. It's worth trying if you're in the mood and in the area. Plenty of flavor options and lots of espresso drinks available too. Update: Came by today once more to try the chai latte with coconut milk this time. Also tried biscoff & coffee gelato. Both were pretty good. Still what I'd consider a 4/5 chai latte and gelato, but the atmosphere here is really so good. There were people of all ages and families coming in and out and hanging around. It's still a very vibey nice spot.

The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

The first thing to know is that the names of An's don't tell you it is gelato. They are named after the businesses that preceded the space and are decorated with that theme. There are usually 7-8 flavors to sample before making your selection. The team is very friendly and helpful with questions (or with a new spoonful if your gelato slips off and onto the floor). If you don't want to experience the flavor tour, avoid the line and go straight to the cooler inside to choose a pint, purchase, and go. We had a great time, as expected. Our wait time in line was about 45 minutes. I LOVE chocolate, so I had a small size with Cypress and No Signal. My cousin loves fruity flavors, so he had the palate cleanser (lemon & ginger) and Straw-hat (mango & passionfruit). The most popular flavor is Leather (brown butter and cookies). Every flavor is excellent. It's really hard to choose. We were told a new location is coming to Oceanside at the former Top Gun house, so I'll be headed there once it opens on a future San Diego trip.

We had these two flavors last time and they were so good we decided to order it again! I particularly like the black raspberry one... It's slightly sweeter reminding me of the days where I'd eat this flavor with my dad. So I enjoyed it and i love the generous amounts of chocolate chunk! My aunt however, said it was too sweet for her-- I forgot to mention to her that this is black raspberry so the profile is much diff than a red raspberry would be. The Coffee Chip one is not as creamy as other coffee flavored ice cream. But the coffee comes out strong and it tastes good with this sort of chocolate pieces! The chocolate is thin enough that it doesn't out shine the coffee. We also had the Orange Dream Cream, a classic orange creamsicle flavor. It was almost slightly icy, although I didn't mind it too much. The orange sherbet was good (a tad sweet, no biggie) and the creamy vanilla was just delicious. We also ordered Peppermint Bark, as the guy working said it was a better choice out of the two options. I'm glad we went with this because it sure was delicious. It was like mint and chip ice cream, but with peppermint instead. The festive colors were fun! They gotten better on making sure the scoops all had the same quantity. I am happy about that because now you're getting bang for your buck! I think this sampler plate is worth it if you're planning on sharing or want to eat multiple flavors from their large menu.

I recommend making a reservation. Even on a rainy day there were people coming in. I love how the place has been updated with 3 spots to sit with the bunnies. Makes it a more intimate experience. Staff was very friendly offering booties to cover the shoes and blankets to sit on.

[Parking]: The garden has a small private parking lot and there were still few parking spots available at 2:30 PM on Saturday. [Bunny Encounters & Price]: Our party booked a 30-minute bunny session ahead of our visit. For reservations, they offer a 20-minute session for $22 per person or a 30-minute session for $25 per person. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Reservations are recommended on weekends. [Bunny Experience]: The garden has one window counter for ordering coffee drinks and another counter for bunny sessions. Our party arrived on time, waited in line, and ended up 5 minutes late to our scheduled session. The staff instructed us not to pick up the bunnies and our party had to wear shoe covers before entering the pens. During the session, our party was able to ask the staff as many leaves as we want. Personally, I found the experience a bit underwhelming because (1) I was only able to get the bunnies' attention with leaves and (2) since visitors can't pick up the bunnies, the only activities our party could do were feeding them and watching them eat leaves. There is also a small house with baby bunnies. [Menu]: After the bunny session was over, our party walked up to the window counter and ordered coffee drinks. The top highlighted drinks include The Gardener and The Florist (ceremonial unsweetened organic matcha with rose). Iced drinks 16 oz only. They also sell pizza here. *** The Gardener (organic espresso with honey, lavender, and vanilla - iced 16 oz - $7.50): The drink tasted a bit sweeter than I would have preferred. *** The garden has a good first-date vibe, but personally this is a one-and-done spo. I was disappointed that visitors can't pick up the bunnies even if they hop onto your lap. I recommend sticking with the 20-minute session rather than the 30-minute session for the feeding and petting experience. Also the coffee drink I had was mediocre at best.
