Wow, what a great experience coming here was. I had heard good things about it, and their five star Yelp average is totally justified. We come down to Florida for vacations and normally eat breakfast in, skip lunch and eat dinner out at a nicer restaurant. Yesterday, however, we had an afternoon commitment and ate an early breakfast so I decided to eat lunch before going to the afternoon event. Photos of the toasted and seeded Italian bread looked delicious so I decided to get a chicken parm sub on that bread and my cousin who was with me got a "beach bum" I think since it's described as including lettuce and tomato which he had. For these chicken cutlet sandwiches, the menu only showed one size (large), but the owner said we can get it in a smaller size which we did. When we got them, I was wondering if they messed up because the sandwiches were very large and I could barely finish mine (I didn't want to drive back to refrigerate the leftovers), but they assured me that this was the small. And such great flavor too. They also have normal drinks, not some uppity, expensive ones. Finally, both owners were the most friendly people I've dealt with in a long time. Andrew recognized my face and name from the LESF food group on Facebook, and both he and Dawn were amazingly welcoming and personable. I think this place is a great place to get a sub and chips... whether you're heading to the beach or grabbing a quick lunch. The husband and wife team only use boars head products and are extremely personable too. Personally, I did not like that my sub was not cut in half, when I specifically asked for that... their reply was they do cut in half and my response was I want that cut in half... needless to say... my two six inch subs were not cut in half. I also did not like the way they place the meat and the bread... growing up on subway and publix... I would have preferred my meat placed differently, like I'm accustomed and in the future I am confident they will make my sub the way I want it... I didn't know until I opened my sub... tho, again, next time I will make mention of that... And, I asked for a special sauce on the side and it wasn't in my sub bag when I opened it up... tho- I am sure that was a mistake- as, Dawn showed me the little side of it... All in all- it's a great place... Definitely worth giving it a shot! read more

Let me begin by saying, I don't frequent sub shops often. I am vegan and usually they don't offer much for me. But my hubby wanted to try this new place, right across from Deerfield Pier. The location couldn't be any better. I was pleasantly surprised how accommodating they were. They happily showed me ingredient labels, so I could see for myself if they were vegan (sauces, bread etc). Happily, most everything was vegan (obviously not the meat). The rolls were the best I ever tasted. I had every veggie they offered and also had their sweet onion spread too. They actually had vegan mayo as an option (by request only ... not on the menu). The veggie sandwich was the best I ever had. So fresh! I will definitely be back. Hoping they get more creative vegan subs. I will definitely be back. read more

This place is phenomenal. Very cute, clean, and decorated so nicely. The prices are great. I was shocked at how low the drinks were priced. All beer was $3 each and bottled water was only $1. Everyone was so friendly and all of our sandwiches were delicious. I HIGHLY recommend trying! read more

I've gone by this place many times since they opened. In the midst of this Covid-19 sheltering I figured it's a good time to give them a try. Publix sure doesn't need our sub business this month. I got the Deerfield Italian, and my wife tried the panini. Both were excellent. Lots of Boars Head meat, great bread and an overall great value. As good as any sub shops in the area IMO. Especially the chains. If you're thinking subs, give them a try. We need to support these small businesses however we can. This has to be really tough on a new business at the beach - while the beach is closed. I hope they make it through this, I'm sure I'll be back. Sooner rather than later, and you should try them too. read more

I love this place! The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, and the staff is super friendly. I prefer to order online and pick it up, and it's always been ready on time. I ordered their Big Dave sandwich to go a few days ago and I must say it was one of the best I've had in a very long time. I just returned from there with two more sandwiches. It's not that this was some kind of gourmet experience. Rather the house-made beef was tasty, moist and tender; the melted provolone was just the right amount and the Italian bread was toasted to perfection. A great sandwich must have great ingredients and must be assembled with care. This place does both. I got the small sandwich for around $10.00 bucks and it was enough for two meals. The place itself is very clean, comfortable and inviting. There are interesting things to see everywhere you look. The proprietress was genuinely warm and friendly. It's obvious she enjoys people.
